Chapter 56 - Miracle

*Blair's Point of View*
---
"What are you waiting for? Why aren't you running? Do you want to die now?" I asked the middle-aged crazy human earlier.
He looked at me and then nodded his head. He really is crazy.
"It will all be the same. You're just going to tire yourself running to your death." He uttered sadly, and I scoffed.
"What?" I exclaimed, and I scratched my head out of frustration. What will I do with this man?
"Why aren't you running too?" He asked me back confusedly, and I looked around the hungry-looking monsters that are waiting for our time to run out.
"It's because you aren't running. Just trust me, Mister. They all say that if there is still life, there is always hope. You just need to believe." I answered and begged him. And, I knew that Ali is not far enough for me to start saving them.
"Your two minutes are about to run out, humans," Dennis uttered while getting ready to transform. Fudge it!
"What should I believe in? We need a miracle to get out of here alive." He asked again, and I am so fudging pissed off now.
"You know why? I'm holding out for that below one percent chance to survive. Please, just run. And also, I am that miracle. You are welcome in advance." I asserted and begged him.
He seemed convinced because I am just so persistent, and I won't get out of here without all of these captives.
"One minute." The king spoke, and I just wore my puppy dog face. Come on, please!
"You're crazy." The man uttered and started running. Yes!
"No, you are crazy," I let out while chuckling and ran beside him.
There are twelve people that I have to save. Damn, I hope my plan works.
I am running fast, and this is really slow compared to my vampire self.
I estimated that I am far enough from the werewolves to transform into my vampire self without them sensing.
Then, I tried to sense the humans and Alison.
The first thing I did was teleport to Ali, and she was so shocked that I suddenly appeared in front of her.
"Blair, how did you----" She let out, but I cut her off as I unchained her using my witch powers.
"Shhh... Can you transform?" I shushed and asked her.
"I will try." She answered, and clearly, not really sure. But at least she can run faster now.
"Good. I will save the humans first. The werewolves are about two hundred meters away." I told her, and I teleported to the humans that are behind the rest.
I held on to the head of the crazy man and teleported to the other human that is near to us.
Fudge it. I can only manage two at a time.
Finally, I teleported back to the palace with the two humans.
"Blair, what's happening?" My mother asked worriedly as we arrived.
"There are ten more people I have to save," I stated and teleported back to the forest and got another pair of humans.
I kept on doing it until the last two humans. And, I still have to go back to Ali.
"Mother, prepare the silver sword," I asked my mom to give me a thing that can kill a werewolf because I know that Ali is in trouble by now.
I came back with the last pair, and I held tight on the sword that the queen handed me. Then, I teleported to Ali's location.
I saw Ali tripped by a log, and a werewolf was about to attack her. And, I can also sense other werewolves approaching near.
The face of the black-furred monster went afraid as I stood in front of him and pointed the silver sword at his neck.
"Back off if you don't want me to cut your head off," I uttered sternly, and I can feel that Ali's heart is beating so fast.
The monster is clearly taken aback and whined.
"Who are you?" He asked in a growly manner, and I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Your worst nightmare, and nice to meet you." That is all I said and held Ali's head, and then, I teleported back to the palace while still pointing my sword at someone.
"Woah, calm down, couzin! It's me. Sander." My cousin spoke with wide eyes as she raised both her hands up.
"Oh, sorry," I apologized as I put down the sword and gave it to some witch around.
"Hey!" I yelped as my cousin crushed me into a big hug. Damn this girl!
"I was so fucking worried about you, Blairie." She let out while still choking me with her hug and not minding her language.
"I….I …Can't….Uh. Breathe…" I can barely talk, and she seemed to notice it. Finally!
"Oh, sorry." She apologized sheepishly and let me go. Whew!
I look around me, and I can see all the humans I have saved from those hungry monsters. Well, I am very sure that they are really pissed off and might think that someone started a war. But I hope that they won't blame it on the witches or the vampires. I don't want any other people to get hurt.
---
The witches healed the wounds and bruises of the survivors, and they also fed them. I am glad that they are so grateful for having a second chance to live again, and I was their miracle.
"I told ya just to believe," I told the man earlier, and he hugged me while saying his thank you.
Then, I went near my mother, and she hugged me and kissed my head.
"Thank goodness! You're safe, Claude." She let out as she caressed my cheeks.
"Hey, Mom," I greeted her as I smiled warmly.
"You did a great job of saving these people." She spoke, and I chuckled.
"I just did what is right, Mom. But I hope they won't think that I've started a war. I didn't kill anyone, but… wait, I did days ago." I stated, and I sighed as I remembered that time when they kidnapped Pryce and were about to kill her.
"It's going to be okay, Claude." She comforted me and held my hand tightly.
"I hope so, Mom," I uttered, and then my eye caught the sight of the white-haired girl, Ali.
I left my mother since she'll still make the humans forget their experiences while being captured by those werewolves, and they will take them to their homes. It's a forbidden spell, but... we have no choice.
Then, I went near Ali, and I can really sense that she is a werewolf even from afar.
"Hey, how are you?" I asked her as I looked at the other survivors.
"Alive. Thanks to you, our Savior. So, what exactly are you?" She answered and asked me curiously with a smile.
"No problem. I just did what I had to do. And oh, I'm a half-vampire and a half-witch." I answered, and she nodded her head.
Well, I'm not gonna lie, she looks so beautiful and young. But yeah, she's five hundred years old. And a daughter of the love of my life in her past life. So cool, right?
"Hybrid. You know what, I really thought that it was the end. But maybe I still have the chance to see the girl who got my father's soul." She stated and who she meant is Pryce.
"Yeah. She's still sleeping, but you can see her." I replied and motioned her to follow me to where my girl is sleeping.
"I put her to sleep so that our secret being supernatural is safe from her for now. It's because I don't want her to know that we are supernatural. She might freak out or hate us because she grew up as a human." I explained to her as I opened the door.
And there she is, sleeping like an angel. Damn, I could stare at her face forever. She's just so gorgeous.
I looked at Ali, and I noticed that tears were escaping from her eyes.
"She's beautiful. And it's down there sleeping soundly while waiting for its time." She uttered while tears streamed down her cheeks.
"I missed you, Father. And don't worry, I'll do everything to make you safe this time." She whispered as she held Pryce's hand, and I could feel her sadness and longing.
