Chapter 57 - Alison

*Cassandra's Point of View*
---
"Woah, calm down, Couzin! It's me. Sander." I said to Blair while my eyes went wide in shock. Who wouldn't be when there's a very sharp sword pointing at your face?
"Oh, sorry." She uttered as she put the sword down and gave it to Freddy.
"Hey!" She yelped as I crushed her into a very big tight hug. I'm just so worried about her.
"I was so fucking worried about you, Blairie," I let out while still hugging her tight. Damn, she really is so brave for facing those foul monsters.
"I…I… Can't… Uh. Breathe…" She stammered, and I just noticed that I was hugging her so tight. Damn.
"Oh, sorry," I apologized as I finally let her go.
This girl is just so reckless and brave. She really went to the werewolves’ domain to get some information about Pryce. And, I hope that she found some. I just can't afford to lose my best friend too.
Blair looked around, and her face turned like she's worried about something. I'll just ask her some other time.
I left my cousin as I went to help some of the witches who are healing the survivors that Blair saved from the werewolves.
Then, my gaze turned to the girl with silvery-white hair, and she looked really pale. I could clearly sense that this girl is not a human. She's a werewolf. And that makes me wonder why Blair brought her here.
The queen talked to Blair and hugged her tight. Wow, it's just a beautiful view looking at a mother and her daughter comforting each other.
After their talk, Blair went near the werewolf girl, and they talked, and then they walked together to Pryce's location. Hmm.
Blair really trusted this girl since a werewolf is our enemy, and she doesn't mind it. Or does Blair not know that she's a werewolf? No, that would not be possible.
I will just follow behind them in case of an emergency, and I could reinforce. What if she's a sparrow that was sent by the enemy and will act good and trustworthy, then, will betray us all when the time comes? We should be cautious from now on.
They went inside Pryce's room, and I just stayed behind the door. And, if there is any commotion inside, I would barge in, and I will not hesitate to freeze someone's blood that would end them.
---
I waited outside the room for almost five minutes, and someone finally opened the door. Then, I came face-to-face with the wolf girl.
I stared at her face, and I just noticed that she looks so gorgeous. Her eyes are the color of gold, and they're so beautiful.
She stared at me too, and there, I saw the most beautiful smile that I ever saw.
We got a staring contest, and it wasn't about to end until Blair cleared her throat.
"Hi! Uh… um.." I began, and I just can't talk straight.
Well, this is new. I can't compose any words to say to her other than Hi. Damn, I felt something weird when I looked at her eyes.
"Um..." I continued, but still, fuck this tongue.
I looked at her again and saw her still smiling. Then, I looked at her eyes, but this time it wasn't in the color of gold. It turned blue, something like my best friend's eye color. But I'm very sure that it's gold earlier.
"Will anyone from you, people, will speak?" Blair asked while acting very bored.
I looked at her, and she's giving me the looks of something like I give her when it comes to Pryce. What's the matter with her?
"Uh… Well..." I started again, and that's all I can say. And, I scratched my head since I don't know what to say next.
"Okay, Cassandra. This is Alison. And, Alison. This is Cassandra, my cousin." Blair stated while pointing us to each other.
She really knows that I am in a very awkward situation. Nice one, Cousin.
But all I can do is take a deep breath. I just feel so freaking strange about this girl.
"So, you already know each other? Can we now get going? I'm so fudging hungry." She uttered and started walking in the direction of the kitchen.
Then, she suddenly stopped and looked back at us.
"Or you can stay here and continue your staring contest. Don't worry. I won't mind." She teased while wiggling her eyebrows, and with that, I felt my face go warm.
"What? No! We should get going. I'm hungry too." I spoke, but my cousin's face was something very annoying.
She's surely not shipping us, or is she? But do I like her? No, no. She's a werewolf.
Well, I'm not gonna lie, she looks so pretty and young. I don't even know if she's still under eighteen years old. But age doesn't matter, right? What am I even talking about? Damn, for the witch's sake, I just met the girl!

*Pryce's Point of View*
---
I parked my car in my usual parking space. Then, I went out and almost screamed when someone hugged me from behind.
My favorite scent and I know that it is my girlfriend.
"Beautiful morning to you, Pryce." She greeted me and I faced her to see that she's having her usual cheerful mood.
Something that she doesn't do now is to call me by many names. But honestly, I kinda miss it. Well, maybe she's finally serious about me now.
I didn't say anything. Instead, my lips captured hers. And, we kissed here in the parking lot while some students were watching.
Shit, PDA! I'm breaking my own rules.
I broke off from the kiss but definitely want more. Well, can we at least kiss again before heading to our class? Mmm, rooftop.
"Good morning, Blair." I greeted her with a smile, and then we proceeded to go straight to the seniors' school building.
---
While walking in the hallways, I can feel that all eyes are on us. Okay, maybe everybody wants to know what's going on with me and this freak. But I guess I don't need to.
"Congratulations to the new couple! Blair and Pryce. Yehey! Finally, official!" Andrea announced as soon as she got the sight of us coming.
Then, the cheers of the crowd boomed the hallways, and all I could do was blush.
Damn it! Do they really have to announce it to everybody? Yeah, so that everybody knows that the girl is yours. Oh, shut up, brain. But yeah, you got the point.
Blair went near her group of friends, and she shook each of their hands.  Well, she's really so damn proud.
Then, she motioned me to come closer to them, and they greeted me cheerfully. And, all I can give them is a small smile in response. It just makes me happy seeing true friends laughing together. And, it makes me miss Cassie.
Well, even though I called her last night telling her that Blair and I are finally girlfriends now, she still sounds different, like she got a problem. I should call her again later.
---
"Good morning, class!" The teacher greeted us and it was the start of another tedious and stressful lesson.
I will just look at the girl beside me so that my boredom will go away. Yeah, she's a living stress reliever.
"But before we start, there were seven exchange students that came from Canada this morning. And luckily, in your class, two female students will be your classmates for a month. I want you to be nice to them so that their visit will be worth it." The teacher announced, and that made me wonder.
I didn't know about this one. Nobody informed me about exchange students coming to my academy. I'll just ask Ron later.
"Please, come in, and introduce yourselves." The teacher continued, and two girls stepped inside our classroom.
Then, my eyes went wide when I saw one of them.
It's Cassie. What is she doing here?
She is with a silver-haired girl that looks familiar, but I don't remember where and when I saw her.
I looked at Blair, and she seemed shocked too.
"Good morning, Everyone! Some of you might probably know me already since we were schoolmates in elementary school, and one of you here is my best friend, and one of you here is my cousin. Hi! Prycie and Blairie!" She began and waved at us with a big smile.
Then, I just smiled at her amusingly. Maybe she has something to do with this. She really loves surprises.
"Okay, for those who do not know me. My name is Cassandra Williams, and this is Alison Smith. It will be nice to meet you all." She introduced and smiled her usual cheeky smile.
I just missed the girl so much. And Alison is a very familiar name. Well, of course, there are a lot of people who got the name of Alison. But she's something I can't figure out.
"Oh, Raymund. Can you and Levi get two chairs and a table for these ladies?" Mrs. Johnson asked some of my male classmates.
Then, Cassie and Alison went near us, and I stood up to hug my best friend tightly.
"I missed you, Cassie!" I let out and broke off from the hug.
Well, it's been a month that we haven't seen each other.
"Me too, Prycie." She uttered and turned to Alison.
"Alison, this is Pryce Winsley. And Prycie, this is Alison Smith, one of my classmates and close friend back there." She introduced us to each other, and I held out a hand for her to shake.
She stared at it for a while, and Blair whispered something to the girl. Then, the girl held my hand and shook it weirdly.
"Okay, nice to meet you, Alison," I stated as I retrieved my hand from her weird shake.
And, she just gave me a familiar smile. Where the heck did I see this girl? She is really so freaking familiar.
"Ahem." Blair cleared her throat and held out a hand to shake Alison's.
"My name is Blair Kendall-Cavanaugh. Nice to meet you, Alison." She uttered, and she shook the girl's hand in the correct way.
Then, Alison seemed to like getting it. There is something weird going on in here.
The boys that went out to get the chairs and table have arrived and then put the things beside Blair and my table.
"Nice, we are going to be shitmates, Sander," Blair let out and elbowed her cousin. They just grew real close since that day they met each other.
"Yeah, yeah. But you mean... cheatmates?" Cassie countered, and both of them laughed. I really don't know about these two girls.
---
"Hey, Cass! Will you be staying here at the Academy's dormitory for the whole month?" I asked Cassie while we were eating lunch here at the canteen. They just arrive at dawn and have not arranged their things yet.
"Well, if you let us stay in your mansion for the whole month, Prycie. It would be the best." She replied while grinning, and of course, I want her to stay at my house. But I wonder if Alison will come too.
Blair and the white-haired girl are talking like they knew each other for a long time. And, I want to know this girl more. I don't know, but there's something in her. And I just noticed that she somewhat looked like my mother, or me? No! A lot of people could look similar to each other.
"Well, yeah! That's why I'm asking, Silly." I let out, and her face lightened up.
"You heard that, Blairie. I'll be staying at your girlfriend's house." She said to Blair, who is busy munching the chips that she stole from Leanne.
"Hmmm. Oh, yeah, that's great! Will Ali be with you?" Blair stated and asked about Alison. Well, she indeed is having fun giving nicknames to every person she meets.
"Well, lemme ask Prycie about it," Cassie replied like she doesn't know that I'm listening to their conversation.
"That would be Alison's decision. But yes, she's very welcome to stay at my place since she's with you, Cassie." I uttered, and I looked at Ali. And, she finally spoke to me.
"Thank you, Pryce. And don't worry, I'll make you safe from the people who will harm you." She spoke, and that sounds weird but sweet.
I just smiled at her in response, and I looked at Blair, who's clearing her throat.
I don't know, but something is really going on with these people around me.
