Chapter 60 - Fury

*Alison's Point of View*
---
The werewolf gripped my leg tightly before he threw me on the road near Blair's location. And, my head banged on the cement road that made my sight start to blur. But I can still see how Blair killed two werewolves at a time using her silver sword.
She looked at me, and I saw her eyes are like fire, but something's in them, anger and hatred. Then, I swallowed hard, and I yelped as Blair tied up my wounds with some cloth that she tore from her shirt in just a blink.
"Look at how the Princess takes the side of the enemies." Someone let out behind us, and what he meant is me.
"I'm not taking any sides. I'm just doing this to stop your false king from reigning." I uttered while breathing heavily and trying to repress the pain that I felt from my wounds.
"Oh, really? Your old king will be dead soon, and he will never rise again." He asserted while slowly transforming into his human form. It's Dennis.
Blair stood up and stared at the one who spoke. Then, she motioned her hands into something, and I saw her sword was sent somewhere far from us to the mansion's direction. And then, a scream of pain was heard.
With that, I can feel that Dennis's heart is beating so fast. I guess that's fear.
"No, you can never lay your hands on her!" I belted, and I can feel my heart tightening.
"Well, yes! I will kill her with my own hands. And, what will happen after that? I will not kill you. Because I will kill you in the slowest way possible so that you will feel how it is to betray your kind." He continued while Blair moved her hands again, and another scream was heard not far from us.
"You're the only one left," Blair uttered without emotion, and that made him startled. But he still keeps talking.
"Who the fuck are you? And, why are you interfering in the werewolves’ issues?" He asked her, and Blair just stood there unmoved while staring at him intently.
"Well, the answer is simple. I won't take part in your problems if you will stop your goal of killing her." She calmly said, and that made the man scoff.
"Who? The girl who got the soul of the dead king?" He asked, and that made Blair grit her teeth.
"Who else? If you're smart enough, you would know." She replied and started to move her hands again.
Then, the silver sword is now at the back of Dennis and aiming at his heart. You'd be dead any second by now.
"Why would you care? She's just some school girl who has known nothing at all. It's out of your business, Hybrid." He told her and just made Blair angrier. Oh, you're just making your death come quicker, doggy.
"The girl you are talking about... is mine. So, tell your king to better stop, or else---" She spoke but was cut off by Dennis.
"King Damien? Are you going to mess with my father? Ha! Or else what? Kill him?" He remarked while chuckling, and Blair stayed calm.
"Or else I will erase your race. Every single one of you. Except for the princess, Pryce, and the innocent ones." She uttered coldly, and that made Dennis shut his mouth up.
"I will not kill you now because you are going to deliver the message to your fake-king." She told him and moved her hands again that made Dennis look behind him.
And that made him shocked to see the silver sword that is on fire pointing at his face.
"Go," Blair uttered and let the sword fall on the ground.
Finally, he transformed into a werewolf and started running away from us.
---
As we lost sight of the coward, she moved her hands and sent fireballs to the scattered dead bodies.
"We'll burn them all into ashes, so we don't leave a mess that makes the police know." She asserted and kneeled in front of me.
"Fudge! That must hurt. Tsk tsk tsk." She said worriedly while looking at my wounds. And, it's just so amazing to look at someone very powerful and ready to give everything for the ones she loves.
"It'll heal. I guess." I uttered as I tried to stand up, but the pain in my leg didn't help.
"Shh. Don't try it. I know who can heal that since I cannot do that because I might consume all of your blood." She said jokingly as she scratched her head.
I chuckled, and she did too.
Right now, she's very different from earlier. She was like, you are facing your death, and now, she's smiling and feels very concerned about me.
"Let me ask you, Blair. Can you turn someone into a vampire if you bite them and they don't die?" I asked her curiously since a werewolf can make a human one of them if they are bit and didn't die. I don't know if it works for vampires.
"Uh, well... I don't know. I never bit a human for blood. And wait… Well, there's actually a book about conversion from human to vampire. Yeah, there is. I need to read it again." She replied and murmured the last part.
"So, what do you drink or eat?" I asked her since she's a vampire. She needs blood to live.
"Hmm... Animals' blood and blood bags from hospitals. And human food, except meat. I'm a vegetarian." She explained, and I just nodded my head in response.
"Well, I'm not really a killer like how people knew me as 'The Killer'. I only kill those who are bad and the ones that kill innocent humans for food." She added, and she slowly stood up as she looked at the surroundings. And, yes, I have heard of The Killer before, but I thought it was just gossip.
"We're done here. Let's go back so that your wounds will be healed. But wait... So, you're really official with my cousin?" She let out and asked something while grinning that made me feel weird and light.
"Well, yeah! I still can't believe that my mate is a witch. Werewolves rarely have humans as their mates and other creatures. And, honestly, she is just so amazing." I explained to her, and she seemed to wonder something.
Well, Cassandra is someone that just makes me feel strange, but a good way of strange. They say that if you could finally meet your other half, you would feel the longing for their presence to be with you always, and you would do everything for them.
"Now, that makes me wonder if I am Pryce's mate. Damn, it should be me." She murmured and scratched her head. They're really alike with Cass.
"I'm sure it's you. That thing you both have for each other is more than just being mates. It's love, Blair." I told her, and she smiled widely.
Then, I suddenly felt my wounds slowly healing on their own. I untied them, and they are slowly fading.
"Wow! It's healing now." She let out, and I tried to stand up, and I made it.
"Give me those." She asked for the cloth that she tied on my wounds. Then, she tossed it in the air, and it burned into ashes.
"Let's go!" She stated as she killed the fire in the surroundings, and I nodded my head in response.
