EPILOGUE

On a calm day, children were having a good time in the park. Not to mention... with the zombies!
A group of people was also dancing with a bunch of zombies. The males were all dressed in barong tagalog, while the females were dressed in filipiniana gowns.
A man was cuddling a female zombie when he realized it was his wife, who had died eight years before.
People were dining, and the zombies devoured the food that the people had consumed. It was Bella who gave the order for the zombies to consume the same foods as humans. ‘That humans are not food, but rather pals.’ Bella has a way of bringing the undead back to life. The zombies consume everything, including fruits, vegetables, fish, and meat—except humans, of course.
The zombies even dressed in garments that looked similar to those worn by the people.
A zombie’s head fell to the ground and rolled around. A human picked it up for him and placed it on the zombie’s head. The human chuckled embarrassedly after finding out that he had put it in the wrong way and rotated his head around.
On the other side, there’s a bunch of humans and zombies queuing up at a ticket booth to purchase tickets for a later performance, and they’ve also bought finger appetizers to snack on while they wait.
One female has done the makeup of a zombie, transforming him into a decent-looking human-like creature, while she has done her face the other way around, making her appear to be a zombie.
A male zombie and a female human went to get their picture taken in a photo booth. “Say, zombie!” said the woman as she clicked the camera’s shutter button. “Zombie!” the zombie yelled after her. After a few seconds, the zombie grinned upon seeing the film he took out of the photo booth.
A group of zombies was jamming on guitars and tambourines, showing their support for a zombie friend who was courting a human. After learning that it was her fiancé who had died just days before their wedding, the human fell head over heels in love with him. When the zombie sang, he was on his knees, singing a love song to the woman who had become his partner. Instead of flowers, the zombie offered his head as a gift. The woman took his head and kissed him as she lifted one of her feet. “Til’ death, we don’t part!” the woman stated after placing the head back and holding him tight.

Everyone gasped when a zombie attempted to place a human’s hand close to his mouth.
“HUMANS ARE FRIENDS!” A young girl appeared, wearing a scarlet cape around her shoulders. Her head held high while placing her fists on the side of her hips.
Giving a sneaky smile, the zombie pressed his lips against the back of the human’s hand that he was holding.
Everyone in the audience breathed a sigh of relief.
When the actors on stage bent their heads as a sign of the conclusion of their role-playing, the audience who had come to see the show, which included both humans and zombies, erupted in an enthusiastic standing ovation.

Mira and Bella were perched atop a fence on the roof deck. They intertwined their fingers while watching the panoramic view of the people and the entire city.
Once in a while, a pleasant breeze of air went through, brushing their flushed skin and making their hair gently dance.
“So, you knew?” Bella inquired.
“About what?” Mira responded in kind as she turned to face Bella.
Bella lowered her head. “The truth...” she uttered in a shallow cracking voice.
Mira elevated her head to face the sky and took a deep breath. “Uhmm...” Mira responded with a hum, indicating yes.
There was a short pause between the two of them.
“...How?” Bella hesitantly asked.
“Mirabella,” Mira replied as she turned to face Bella. “She informed me that it wasn’t your blood, but it did have your scent.” Mira took another breath. “I... I was worried, thinking you were badly hurt,” she added. She lowered her head when tears began to well up in her eyes.
Both fell into another silence.
“I—I’m sorry...” Bella said after a moment’s thought.
“I know. There’s no need to apologize,” replied Mira with a genuine smile on her lips.
Bella looked Mira in the eyes, trying to figure out what she meant by that.
When Mira noticed Bella’s perplexed expression, she giggled to herself before turning her head to the side.
“We’re family,” Mira continued.
Bella turned to face the direction Mira was staring. Mirabella was standing behind them with the other two female zombies, Macy and Anastasia.
Bella burst into tears as she chuckled.
“It’s time,” beckoned Mira to Bella when the sun began to give an orange hue to the sky.
“Mmmm.” Bella nodded and turned to face the direction of the sun.
It was sundown.
Bella’s eyes began to glow with a crimson hue.
All of the zombies came to a complete stop, and their eyes blazed in imitation of Bella’s.
When the tremendous intensity of the glow in Bella’s crimson eyes and the bloody-red baybayin marks carved on her flesh rose, a persistent and robust gust of wind rushed through the scene.
“This is a place where the living and the undead are friends. A place where both can live in peace and harmony. I am Bella Barbs, Queen, and ruler of the realm of the undead, reigning from the ruins of the dead. I command you to rise to your feet and obey my commands!”
THE END.
