*Claire’s Point of View* --- "Red? Is it okay if we stop by at the mall? I just need to buy something." She asked while she was about to turn to the parking space of the mall. "Yep," I answered, and I just noticed that she's always smiling. What's up with her? Maybe she's up to something amazing for our date. After she parked the car, she brought me to the elevator heading to the top floor of the mall and straight to the arcade. Okay, see? Something amazing it is. I smiled since I never played here again since I was twelve. That was my mom's birthday, and that was so much fun. "Come on, let's get some tokens first." She uttered and dragged me to the token booth. I just noticed that she really loves to hold my hands, and I really like it. No, I love it. "What do you want to play first?" She asked me with her unfading smile and handed me a dozen tokens. Then my gaze went to the basketball area that made her grinned and nodded. --- "Try to win this time, Red." She told me she won two times already. We have one minute to shoot the balls in the basket, and this time I lost 6 points. Damn, she's so good at this. Or do I just suck at this? I guess the latter. But if this is football? It would be easy. After basketball, we went to the Just Dance area. And she's been dying out of laughter while looking at me, who is trying so f*cking hard but still losing. She's a damn head cheerleader, and I clearly don't have a teeny tiny chance against her. What does she expect? And after resting for a while, her lips pointed at a mini stage at the far corner of the arcade. Oh, she wants me to sing there. I sang the song Walk Me Home by P!nk, and she kept smiling and clapping her hands while saying that I'm her girl. And the people at the arcade also stopped to listen and watch me. Some of them recognized me from the resto and the club. We also played that thing where you need to get a stuffed toy inside a glass box using a claw-looking thingy. Was it called Claws? And she never got one. Well, I just got a small Barney stuffed toy, and I gave it to her. She thanked me and kissed my cheek for it. No, I'm not disappointed with just a kiss on the cheek, and my five tokens are gone because of that. Nope, I am not upset, not at all. Then the last thing we played was bumper cars, and that was so much fun. Well, I like playing this kind of stuff, especially with someone that is so engrossed with it. Like, I am in love with a girl that can be childish at times. Yeah, no, most of the time. --- After the tiring activities we did, we went to the food gallery and ordered some snacks. "Is that all, Ma'am?" The guy at the counter asked and clearly eyeing her. And I felt something familiar, so I put my right arm around her shoulders and told the guy that we want two coke floats. He seemed disappointed knowing that Sammy's got a hot girl with her. Well, these days, you can never see two pretty girls that are straight and just friends, one of them must be gay, or both of them are, and they are definitely dating. Mhmm. It's just my observations. Then she handed him her cash card, and I smiled as she intertwined her fingers with mine and kissed the back of my hand. "Let me bring those," I uttered and went to get the food tray from her hold, and she mouthed thanks to me. No kisses? --- After eating our snacks, we went to watch a movie, and luckily, it's not a horror film. I could just die out of laughter at her reactions and the other people watching the movie. Well, I don't easily get scared of horror movies because I know that it's just a movie. Those are fake blood, makeup, and masks only, and mostly are not real-life scenarios. We watched a superhero movie instead, and we like it so much. It was so cool, and it's worth it. --- "Damn, it's already dark? What time is it, Red?" She asked as she looked around while we were now in the parking lot. And I looked at my watch to see the time. "It's almost seven," I answered and I never noticed the time. That was so fast. I guess it's true that if you're happy or in a hurry, time passes quickly, but if you're lonely and waiting for something, time moves super f*ckin' slower than a snail in summer. "I think I should take you home now." She asserted, and we went into her car. I thought she'll buy something there? Well, at least I have spent my day with her even though she doesn't know that it's my birthday. And I consider this day as one of the best days of my life. Oh, maybe Mom cooked something for dinner. I should invite her. It would be very impossible for my mother forgets my birthday. "Uh, Sammy? Ummm... Do you have somewhere else to go?" I asked her, and hopefully, she's available. "Hmm, why?" She asked curiously and started her car's engine. "Well, do you want to stop by the house and have some dinner?" I asked her, and her face lightened up. "Yeah, sure." She replied with a huge smile, and yes, we got some more time together. It's my birthday, and I should spend the rest of the day with the people that are important to me.
