Chapter 36 - Lunch
*Blair Claudette Cavanaugh’s POV*
---
Something wet and warm brushed my left cheek, making me open my eyes as I had just woken up. And the first thing I saw was purple eyes that had been staring at me, and the wolf on my bed licked my cheek again, but now she’s including my neck and all over my face.
“Ahh, Babe, stop! I’m awake. Okay? I’m awake. Hey!” I exclaimed when she hovered on top of me and kept licking my face while I tried to wrestle with her to lie down again.
When the wolf was about to be defeated and lay on her right side, she shifted into her beast form, making me groan as she never plays fair. “No! Come on, Sweetheart! You are cheating! You are supposed to be just in your cute form!”
I closed my eyes to turn into my vampire self to match her mighty beast’s strength, and she snickered.
“Who said we were playing? There are no rules established, my love. Also, I am just trying to get you out of bed before your lazy eyes would close again, and your lazy ass would sleep again. Come on, Blair, let’s get up.” She grumbled near my ear as I still tried to pin her down but couldn’t, and thankfully, a brilliant idea popped into my intelligent mind.
“Just five more minutes, Pumpkin. It’s still so early. Please? Pretty please?” I begged her with my super pitiful vampiric puppy dog face, and I heard her let out a small sigh in surrender.
I reached for her chin and began ruffling it until she giggled as this was her special ticklish blindspot. She can never ever resist my magic touch. I don’t use witchcraft with this, alright? I never would use a forbidden spell of twisting her decisions and inputting something in her mind again. Just mind-reading so that we could communicate if she is in her wolf form.
She rested her head on my chest, eyes closed, as I laid on my back, and I held her perky ears and played with them. It will not be long enough that we will get back to sleep. She always seemed to be stern and strict, but when it comes to me, she always agrees and lets me win. But… maybe because I am just so stubborn that she wouldn’t insist on trying to make me do what she says. Just like now, we are supposed to be getting out of bed to prepare for a lunch appointment to finally meet with Ford Herrera, the man who currently owns the Pryce Winsley Academy. But no, here we are about to fall asleep again both. We don’t have classes for our supernatural courses because it is Saturday, so there is no need to get up early.
My sleeping time has never been so fudging good when I’m cuddling with my adorable furry mate. It was her who wanted to be on any of her werewolf forms whenever we would sleep at night or any time of the day. And yes, it is so damn comfy when she snuggles with me. But my most favorite one is when she’s in her beast form while she’s trying to make me feel warm throughout the night in her embrace, and I couldn’t be more grateful that she is a werewolf. We indeed don’t need blankets. Yey!
---
Hours passed, and we were startled when we heard something usual downstairs.
“Blairie? Prycie? Anybody home? Where are you? Still in your room? Doing the usual? How many rounds now? Who’s the bottom now? Would you mind if I barge in? You should use your vampire superspeeds and cum quickly, and dress up. I have something important to tell you.”
“Goddess forbid, I’m going to chew her head off,” Pryce growled while locking me in her embrace, and I just couldn’t agree more. Like, fudge, that doctor is always here every damn weekend to destroy our mornings, which we should have been sleeping and relaxing to our hearts’ content.
We both didn’t bother to move, then just a mere second, the witch was already at the foot of our bed.
“Geez, do you really sleep like that? How could you even breathe, Blairie?” My cousin remarked, and I turned my gaze to her and answered, “Through my nose or mouth, nut head.”
“Haha, yeah, you got the point. But, no, never mind. Hi, Prycie!” She replied and sat on the couch comfortably while not minding that I was damn wearing nothing under my werewolf blanket.
“Hi, Cassie! Don’t you sleep with Alison while she’s in her beast form?” My mate asked her curiously, and she hmmed, trying to recall.
I buried my face in my girl’s chest and tried to sleep again.
“Uh... Yes, we do sleep like that, but I’m not naked, okay?” Sander answered, making me look at her with a not-very-convinced look on my face. Who is she fooling?
"Really?" Pryce asked to confirm, and she nodded her head with a cheeky smile.
"Yes. Well, we used to, but because you know now… kids. They… they could be insisting on sleeping with us in our room, mostly every night, especially Allan, if he has bad dreams, and their mama would be in her puffy form. It gives them comfort. And yes, it really is so comfy sleeping with werewolves on the bed." She explained, and both Pryce and I let out, "Okay."
"Now, you two should hurry up and grow old, no, grow mature enough so that you could get yourselves your own puppies—a family. And... Well, I am going to say this now... That I am going to be the one to name your kids. Mhmm. I will be the one. And they better be twins. Okay? Whether you like it or not. I would also be their lovely pixie godmother, and you are going to---" She rambled and didn't finish when I cut her off, "And you are going to get out of our room so we could get our asses off this bed and prepare ourselves for breakfast."
She seemed trying to foretell our future, and I just didn't want to spoil ourselves. We're still young for that kind of talk... Well, not that young, though. Not matured enough is the correct term.
"What breakfast are you two talking about? It's lunchtime! I have already even eaten lunch back at home, two hours ago. And I am here to eat with you with your lunch." My cousin let out and waved her hand, making our alarm clock on the nightstand float in front of our faces.
My eyes widened in surprise when I saw the time. It's fifteen minutes before our appointment with Ford Herrera.
"Sander, why didn't you go here more earlier!!!? Babe, we are so fudging late for the meeting!" I exclaimed and hurried to the bathroom by teleporting, and I heard them outside.
"Now, who's fault is that, Love? I did my best to wake you up three hours ago." My girl blamed me, and I hastily turned on the shower to take a speedy shower.
"Oh, is that today, Prycie?" My cousin asked, and I heard my mate replied, "Yep. Do you remember that we postponed the appointment last week because of my awakening? Mr. Herrera mentioned we could meet today instead."
"Oh, is that so? Well, you better hurry up then." Sander said, and I felt she went to the living room.
When I was finished taking a shower within just a minute, Pryce followed, and I began looking for the clothes I was going to wear. Well, today we should look like ordinary people, but with class. I mean... We should look wealthy and a bit old. Yep. And that's going to be easy with the use of some spells. As for money, we already have tons of it. I just hope that he would agree to sell the Academy, because if not... Well, he should just agree so that we wouldn't use our other options in taking that precious place.
---
After getting ready with our outfits, we descended the stairs and greeted my grinning cousin sitting on the biggest couch.
"So... What was the important thing you needed to tell us, Sander?" I asked her, and she crossed her legs and moistened her lips before speaking.
"Oh, that? I was supposed just to tell you that I would have lunch with you. Food is vital, girls. We all know that." She answered, and I just looked at her with my unimpressed face. I thought she had already eaten lunch. How many lunches does she need to eat in a day?
"Okay. Well, I guess we need to teleport to get to the venue quicker, Blair. We only have five minutes. Leanne and Marvy must be already there now." Pryce suggested, and I just nodded my head in agreement.
"Wait, we should wear our quite different faces now so he wouldn't think of us as teenagers. We should wear our older selves. Now, are you ready, Cupcake? This might get weird, but we have no choice." I asserted and brushed my palms together to get ready to make the spell I had learned the other week. It's all a make-believe spell but at a higher level.
"Need help, Blairie?" My witch cousin asked, and I shook my head in response. "I'm going to do just fine. I'm not a princess of Nwitches for no reason. I can do this."
"Sure you can." She muttered, and I began working on the magic on my mate's face.
"Wow, that's... That's just perfect, Babe. You didn't seem to age a bit." I let out after I had already cast a spell on her, but it just did nothing.
"How old was Pryce when you thought of putting a spell on her, my dear cousin?" Sander asked, and I scratched the back of my head and answered, "Forty years old."
"Oh, that's why! She is damn currently forty-eight years old, you dimwit! It would help if you thought that she was two thousand years old or older so you could get the result of making her look old would work. Try again." She babbled but got the idea that I needed, and I decided to try again. Two thousand years old, here we go.
"Yehey! Finally, you look like you are forty years old, but you are still damn looking so fudging beautiful, Honey-bee." I cheerfully rejoiced and felt proud of myself. So, this is how she would look if she reached that age. Amazing!
And, it's my turn.
"Oh, you look like your mother, Blair, but a bit older," Pryce remarked, and I hurried to look at myself in my phone front camera, and we both took a picture.
"Indeed. Now, let's go?" I offered her a hand so we could teleport to the restaurant where we would have a meeting.
"I'll be fine here in your household, girls. But I'll be cooking my lunch here." Sander let out, and we both looked at her.
"You mean dinner?" I asked, and she shook her head. "No, lunch. Because dinner would follow after that."
I just let out a breath of frustration and just went to teleport to the secured area of the restaurant where there is no CCTV nor people.
"Blair, I can sense the presence of a werewolf." My mate whispered when we got inside a restroom cubicle of the place I had thought of, and I nodded my head lightly.
"I do, too," I told her, and we looked at each other in wonder.
