Chapter 43 - Revoke

*Pryce Winsley’s POV*
---
A bright light made by a witch shone on me, making me growl and squint my eyes. Magenta had taken me somewhere using her Mirak’s Crystal, and all I could hear were people cheering and howling of wolves, werewolves to be exact.
We seemed to be in the middle of nowhere while there were trees all around us, and the moon shines to its brightest above us.
Is this some kind of a stage or something I stood on? Where the heck are we? So, these are their followers, eh?
I hissed when something suddenly burned both my wrists, ankles, and my neck, and the painful feeling was quite familiar. It’s silver chains again. Nothing new?
Though it hurts, I don’t want to shift back to my human form yet. I can endure this pain with the help of the vampire and human in me. I still need to destroy something using my teeth while I am in my beast form. And I deeply hope that they are strong enough to chew off this crystal that keeps my girl away from being her other forms without her control.
“Wakey-wakey, Vitch Princess! Ooh, that sounds like a good pun, though. What do you think? Vampire and b*tch. Oh, I mean witch.” I heard Asteria’s voice jeering and laughing at her unfunny joke, and I opened my eyes and saw my mate being chained down to a metal chair which she sat on earlier, and both her feet up to her knees seemed to be eaten up by the concrete surface.
Hmm, one of them must have the power to control the element earth.
I know Blair is awake but playing asleep even though Magenta had already revoked her sleeping spell on her.
“Slap her awake, Aste! She must witness this spectacular moment.” The older witch, Hera, ordered, and I looked her way and noticed there was a body above a stone table before us where there were runes written on its sides. It’s Donald’s corpse. And there was a crystal ball right near his head. Now, I believe that is where they are holding Damien’s soul that is yet to be transferred into his son's body.
This is a sh*tty idea and should be prevented at all costs.
Then my eyes fell below where I was standing while my back was leaning on a cold, hard stone wall, and I saw other symbols written down on the floor. And there were these small canals leading to where the stone table is. I guess this is where they will stab us, bleeding like what they briefed with this huge audience we have right around us now.
I know we are in deep trouble. Yep. Trouble.
Hmm. There are about three or five hundred mad werewolves here. Damn, this is way out of the Werewolves’ Queen and Councilor’s mind that there’s a secret organization like this that exists, and I guess that not even the Supernatural Council knows about this.
I cringed when I heard a sound, and I kind of felt the pang Blair felt when Asteria slapped her left cheek. And I guess our bond had returned. I wondered what magic contained those rooms they had kept us locked earlier that hindered us in feeling each other's emotions.
“Wake up, I said!” Asteria belted while she was making strong wind gusts hit my mate’s cheeks again and again.
Then I sighed when Blair felt so annoyed and pissed off right now. Well, Asteria better prepare for the vengeance she is yet to receive from an exhaustedly angry hybrid. They had done too much to her lately, and they surely need to pay.
When there was something that seemed to have cracked inside my mouth, I blinked and hoped it was not any of my teeth that broke.
And my eyes widened in shock when Hera levitated in front of me to see me eye to eye with a long silver sword in her hold with runes in them, of course. Yeah, witches could float for sure.
“I know you are awake, Blair. Then just listen to your beloved mate’s scream of helplessness. Mmm, fancy gold armor. You do realize it can’t protect you from any attacks, don’t you, Pryce Winsley? Especially from enchanted silver weapons.” Hera said and trailed the tip of her shiny blade on my chest and up to my neck.
“No. I know. That’s why it's fancy. And do you know what wonders it holds? It could make its beholding werewolf eat a human head off and digest bones well without getting constipated. It’s that amazing.” I grumbled and grinned, and she looked unimpressed with my nonsense. I just feel like messing up with her for a bit while I try to see if my mate shows any signs that her vampireness and witchiness are back. Perhaps it was really my teeth that got destroyed. Hopefully, not.
“Hera, it’s time.” Magenta said, and I looked her way and noticed she was holding Blair’s hair up, making her forcefully look my way.
I gulped and checked with my tongue the thing I kept in my mouth to chew off, but I found out that it was still intact. F*ck it, it was my molar that broke indeed.
“Don’t worry, young queen. You aren’t going to die yet. We just need a little amount of blood from you as well as your other half.” The witch before me muttered and smiled a fake sweet smile, and I heard Asteria chimed, “No! We need lots of your werewolf blood!”
“Good luck with that,” I uttered and used all my might to chew the Octavia’s Crystal again, and I know that I was successful when the spell caster of it looked bothered.
Magenta snapped her head at Blair's neck and gasped when she must have found no necklace hanging there. Ooh! You’re f*cked up, b*tch.
When Hera was about to cut open my armor at my chest area, I spitted out the broken pieces of crystal at her face. She was sure surprised and quickly used her telekinesis to restrain me, but it was too late.
“Pik…” I could barely speak, and she looked at my face with wonder. I closed my eyes to feel my surroundings and cleared my mind to get ready to teleport somewhere.
“What do you have to say? Oh, you can’t move? Sorry, dear. This might hurt a little, okay?” She taunted me and began slashing the gold plate of my armor like butter, and I opened my eyes and smirked. Not even my mate could restrain me with her telekinesis for a time while I am in my beast form during a damn full moon, and she’s a damn royalty!
“Pik-a-choo!” I snickered and bared my teeth to Hera, and I teleported behind my mate to help her out with her chains while Magenta went looking for another Octavia’s Crystal that belonged to the dead Donald.
The oblivious witches looked my way, stunned and quite angry, and I heard Asteria snap, “She can teleport! She’s a part vampire, Hera! Why haven’t you known that? Any of you! You are all stupid!”
“Surprise, evil witches! Behold, the first tribrid Rightful Ruler of the Werewolves!” Blair proudly announced that she left the rest of the creatures around us flabbergasted. And I shifted to my humanoid vampire form.
It's time to get a little wild.
