Chapter 16 Get to know that person of good morals who loved us before he saw us.
Disagreements and disagreements erupted among the Children of Israel. They made modifications and revisions to their ideas and laws. As a result, truth was extinguished and lies reigned supreme; oppression and evil spread; and mankind required a religion that would establish truth, remove evil, and guide people down the correct road. As a result, Allah sent Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), as Allah declared (interpretation):"And We have not sent down the Book (the Quran) to you (O Muhammad) except that you may clearly explain to them those things in which they differ, and (as) guidance and mercy for a people who believe." [al-Nahl 16:64]Allah sent all the Prophets and Messengers to summon humanity to worship Allah alone and to bring them out of the darkness. Nuh was the first of these Messengers, and Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was the last, as Allah declared (interpretation of the meaning):"And verily, We have sent a Messenger (proclaiming) among every Ummah (community, nation): 'Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghut (all false deities, i.e., do not worship Taghut besides Allah." [al-Nahl 16:36]Is Muhammad the final prophet?Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the last of the Prophets and Messengers; hence, there is no Prophet after him, as Allah stated:"Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is Allah's Messenger and the last of the Prophets." [al-Ahzab 33:40]Every Prophet was only sent to his own people, but Allah sent His Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to all of humanity, as Allah said (interpretation of the meaning):"Allah revealed to His messenger the Quran by which to guide people, and We have not sent you (O Muhammad) except as a giver of glad tidings and a Warner to all mankind, but most of men know not" [Saba 34:28].What was the purpose of Allah's sending the Quran?Allah revealed the Quran to His Messenger in order to guide mankind and lead them from darkness to light via the will of their Lord. (Interpretation of the meaning) Allah says:"This is a Book which We have revealed unto you (O Muhammad) in order that you may lead mankind out of darkness (of disbelief and polytheism) into light (of belief in the Oneness of Allah and Islâmic Monotheism) by their Lord's Leave to the path of the All Mighty, the Owner of all praise."When and where was Prophet Muhammad born?Muhammad ibn 'Abd-Allah ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib al-Hashimi al-Qurashi, Allah's Messenger, was born in Makkah in the year of the Elephant, when the Elephant's associates came to Makkah to destroy the Ka'bah, but Allah defeated them. His father died before he was born, and Haleemah al-Sa'diyyah nursed him after he was born. He visited his maternal uncles in Madinah with his mother, Aminah bint Wahb, when he was six years old. His mother died in al-Abwa on the way back to Makkah. His grandpa, 'Abd al-Muttalib, was appointed as his guardian. 'Abd al-Muttalib, on the other hand, died when Muhammad was eight years old. Then his paternal uncle, Abu Talib, was appointed as his guardian. He cared for him, treated him tenderly, and defended him for more than forty years, but when Abu Talib died, he had not come to believe in Muhammad's religion for fear of being reproached by the Quraysh for forsaking his forebears' religion. What did Prophet Muhammad do for a living?Muhammad used to tend sheep for the inhabitants of Makkah when he was younger. Then he travelled to Syria to conduct business on behalf of Khadeejah bint Khuwaylid, and he profited handsomely. Khadijah was pleased by his character, sincerity, and honesty, so he married her when he was twenty-five and she was forty, and he did not marry again till she died.Prophet Muhammad's personality prior to prophethoodAllah made Muhammad grow in a good way, and Allah took care of him, so he was the best of his people in bodily well-being and attitude; he was the most generous, patient, true, sincere, and honest, so his people called him al-Amin (the trustworthy). Then he was granted the need for seclusion, so he spent many days and nights alone in Hira's cave, worshipping and praying to his Lord. He despised idols, drink, and promiscuity, so he avoided them throughout his life. When Muhammad was 35 years old, he assisted in repairing the Ka'bah after a flood had caused damage. They appointed him as an arbitrator to resolve the dispute, so he called for a garment and placed the stone on it, then told the tribal chiefs to hold the garment at the edges so that all of them could lift it together, then Muhammad put it back in place and surrounded it with stones and mortar. What did the Arabians believe before Islam? The Jahiliyyah had certain excellent qualities, such as kindness, loyalty, and courage, and they followed the precepts of Ibrahim's religion, such as venerating the Ka'bah and doing Tawaf around it, conducting Hajj and 'Umrah, and presenting sacrifices. Aside from that, they had certain terrible habits and traditions, such as fornication, drinking wine, eating riba (usury or interest), murdering their daughters, oppression, and idol worship.'Amr ibn Luhayy al-Khuza'i, who introduced idols to Makkah and other locations and invited people to worship them, was the first to introduce alterations in Ibrahim's religion and to advocate for the worship of idols. Wudd, Suwa', Yaghooth, Ya'uq, and Nasra were among these idols.Later, the Arabs worshipped various idols, such as Manat's idol in Qadeed, al-Lat's idol in al-Taif, al-'Uzza's idol in Wadi Nakhlah, Hubal's idol inside the Ka'bah, and other idols around the Ka'bah and idols in their homes. To decide between them, people used to contact soothsayers, fortune tellers, and magicians. When did Prophet Muhammad get the call to prophethood? When shirk and corruption became rampant, Allah sent Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at the age of forty to exhort the people to worship Allah Alone and abandon idol worship. Quraysh chastised him for it, saying:"Has he made the alihah (gods) (all) into One Ilah (God—AAllah)? Truly, this is a strange thing!" [Saad 38:5: Meaning and Interpretation]These idols were worshipped instead of Allah until Allah sent His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with the Message of Tawheed (Allah's Oneness). So he and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) smashed and destroyed them, and truth triumphed over deceit."And say, 'Truth (i.e., Islamic Monotheism or this Quran on Jihad against polytheists) has come, and Batil (falsehood, i.e., Satan or polytheism) has vanished; surely, Batil is ever bound to vanish." [al-Israa' 17:81: interpretation]An account of Prophet Muhammad's first revelationThe first revelation sent down to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in the cave of Hira, where he used to worship, when Jibril came to him and told him to read. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I am not a reader," and on the third occasion, he stated to him, "I am not a reader.""Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who created everything that exists,He made man from a clot (a heavily coagulated chunk of blood).Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous." [al-'Alaq 96:1-3; meaning interpretation]The Messenger returned home, his heart racing. He went to his wife, Khadijah, and told her what had happened, saying, "I feared for myself." She calmed him down and said, "By Allah, Allah will never forsake you, for you uphold the ties of kinship, help the weak, honour your guests, give in charity, and help when someone is stricken with calamity." When he told him what had happened, he rejoiced and said, "This is the Namus whom Allah sent to Musa." If his people mistreated and banished him, he counselled him to be patient. The wahy then halted for a while, which pained the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Then, one day, while wandering, he saw the angel again, this time between the heavens and the earth. He returned home and covered himself in his blanket. Then Allah revealed the following words (a meaning interpretation):"O you (Muhammad), enveloped in garments! Arise and warn!" [al-Muddaththir 74:1-2]The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then received revelations one after the other. What stages of Prophet Muhammad's mission were there? The Prophet stayed in Makkah for thirteen years, appealing for Allah-only worship, first in secret, then openly, when Allah directed him to do so. So he called them gently and kindly, without fighting. He summoned his tribe and closest relatives, then alerted his people and those around them, then all Arabs, then all humanity. Then Allah spoke:"Therefore, openly proclaim (Allah's Message: Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers)." [al-Hijr 15:94]Few people believed in the Messenger, including affluent people, nobles, the weak and impoverished, men, and women. They were all persecuted for their faith. Some were tortured, while others were killed. Some of them fled to Abyssinia to escape the persecution of the Quraysh, while others were persecuted with the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) until Allah allowed His faith to triumph. When the Messenger was fifty years old and ten years into his mission, his uncle Abu Talib, who had protected him from Quraysh persecution, died. Then his wife, Khadjah, who had been his solace, died, and the persecution of his people became more intense. They harassed and persecuted him with various torments, and he bore them with patience, seeking Allah's recompense. May Allah's blessings and peace be upon him.The visit of Prophet Muhammad to al-TaifWhen the Quraysh persecution became too strong, he travelled to al-Taif and summoned its inhabitants to Islam, but they did not answer; instead, they ridiculed him and flung stones at him until his heels began to bleed. He returned to Makkah and continued to preach Islam to his people at Hajj and at other times. The Night Journey of the Prophet MuhammadThen, while riding on al-Buraq and accompanied by Jibril, Allah sent His Messenger on a nighttime journey from al-Masjid al-Haram in Makkah to al-Masjid al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem). He came to a halt and led the prophets in prayer before being carried up into the lowest heaven, where he beheld Adam with the souls of the blessed to his right and the souls of the damned to his left. Then he was taken to the second heaven, where he saw 'Isa and Yahya; the third heaven, where he saw Yusuf; the fourth heaven, where he saw Idris; the fifth heaven, where he saw Harun; the sixth heaven, where he saw Musa; and the seventh heaven, where he saw Ibrahim. Then he was carried up to Sidrat al-Muntaha (the lote tree of the furthest boundary), where his Lord talked to him and exhorted him and his ummah to pray fifty times a day and night. The prayer was then decreased to five prayers to be performed with a reward of fifty, and the prayer was affirmed to be five prayers each day and night for Muhammad's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ummah. Then, before daybreak, he returned to Makkah and told them what had happened to him. The believers were convinced, but the kafirs were not."Allah be glorified (and exalted) above all that (evil) they associate with Him."Who took His slave (Muhammad) on a night journey from Al-Masjid Al-Haram (at Makkah) to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem), the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, in order that We might show him (Muhammad) of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, lessons, signs, and so on). Verily, He is the All Hearer, the All Seer."Some tribes have accepted Islam. Then Allah sent individuals to help and support His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He encountered a group from the Khazraj clan in Madinah during the Hajj season. They accepted Islam, then returned to Madinah to propagate Islam there. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) met over ten people the following year, and when they departed, he sent Mus'ab ibn 'Umayr with them to teach them the Quran and Islam. Many others converted to Islam through him, including the leaders of the Aws tribe, Sa'd ibn Mu'adh and Usayd ibn Hudayr. When the Hajj season arrived the following year, more than seventy men from al-Aws and al-Khazraj came and invited the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to come to Madinah after the people of Makkah had harassed and boycotted him. During the night of one of Tashreeq's days, the Messenger scheduled a meeting with them in 'Aqabah. After a third of the night had passed, they went out to meet him and found the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with his uncle al-'Abbas, who was not a believer but wanted to manage his nephew's affairs. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) accepted their oath of allegiance on the basis that he would migrate to them in Madinah, and they would protect, support, and defend him, and Paradise would be theirs in return. They took their pledges of allegiance one by one before departing. When Quraysh learned about them, he set out to find them. But Allah delivered them from their clutches, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be with him) remained in Makkah for a time."Verily, Allah will help those who help His cause." "Truly, Allah is All Strong and All Mighty." [al-Hajj 22:40: interpretation]An account of the Prophet Muhammad's journey to MadinahWhen the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded his Companions to migrate to Madinah, they did so in groups except for those who were prevented from doing so by the mushrikeen, leaving only the Messenger of Allah, Abu Bakr, and 'Ali in Makkah."And remember when the disbelievers plotted against you (O Muhammad) to imprison you, kill you, or get you out (from your home, i.e., Makkah); they were plotting, and Allah too was plotting, and Allah is the Best of those who plot." [al-Anfal 8:30]When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) decided to migrate to Madinah, he and Abu Bakr set out to the cave of Thawr and stayed there for three nights, hiring 'Abd-Allah ibn Abi Urayqit, a mushrik, as their guide and letting him lead their camels. Quraysh was alarmed when he left, and they looked for him everywhere, but Allah protected His Messenger. When Quraysh gave up hope of finding them, they offered anyone who could bring one or both of them to them two hundred camels. So the people intensified their search, and on the way to Madinah, Suraqah ibn Malik found them; he was a mushrik, and he set out after them, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed against him, and his horse's legs sank into theIn Madinah, how was Prophet Muhammad received? When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived in Madinah, the Muslims yelled, "Allahu akbar!" He stayed in Quba, where he and the Muslims built the mosque of Quba, for over ten nights, then rode on Friday and prayed Jumu'ah amongst Bani Salim ibn 'Awf, then rode his camel and entered Madinah, with the people all around him taking the reins of his camel so that he would come and stay with them. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)Allah made it possible for His Messenger to stay with his maternal uncles near the mosque, so he stayed in the house of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, and then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent someone to bring his family and his daughters, as well as the family of Abu Bakr, from Makkah to Madinah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his Companions then began to build his mosque in the place where the camel had sat down, with the qiblah facing Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem) and its pillars and roof made of palm branches. The qiblah was later changed to the Kabah, more than ten months after he arrived in Madinah.Treaty between Prophet Muhammad and the Jews of MadinahThe Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then established brotherhood (mua-khah) between the Muhajireen and the Anaar. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then made a treaty with the Jews and wrote a document agreeing to peace and to defend Madinah. The Jewish scholar 'Abd-Allah ibn Salam became Muslim, but most of the Jews insisted on remaining kafir. The adhan was ordered in the second year, Allah relocated the qiblah to the Ka'bah, and the Ramadan fast was instituted.Permission to attack those who have fought MuslimsThe Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) remained in Madinah, and Allah helped him. The Muhajirun and Anaar consolidated their ranks around him, and their hearts were devoted to him. The mushrikun, Jews, and hypocrites banded together to oppose him; they slandered him and fabricated lies against him, and they declared war on him, but Allah commanded him to be patient, forbearing, and tolerant."Permission to fight (against disbelievers) is given to those who are fought against because they have been wronged, and surely Allah is Able to give them (believers) victory." [al-Hajj 22:39]Then Allah commanded the Muslims to kill those who opposed them."And fight in the way of Allah those who fight you, but do not overstep your bounds." Allah truly despises transgressors." [al-Baqarah 2:190: interpretation of the meaning]Then Allah gave them the order to battle all the mushrikeen."And fight against the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) collectively, as they fight against you collectively." [al-Tawbah 9:36: interpretation]The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his Companions began to call people to Allah and to strive in jihad for Allah's sake, foiling their enemies' plots and relieving the oppression of the oppressed, and Allah supported them with His help until the religion was all for Allah.Prophet Muhammad's BattlesHe fought the mushrikeen at Badr in Ramadan in 2 AH, and Allah granted him victory, and he defeated them. In 3 AH, the Jews of Bani Qainuqa' committed treason by killing one of the Muslims, so the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) expelled them from Madinah to Syria, and Quraysh avenged their dead, who were slain at Badr. The Jews of Bani al-Nudayr then committed treason and plotted to assassinate the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) by hurling a rock at him, but Allah saved him, and he besieged them and exiled them to Khaybar in 4 AH.In 5 AH, the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) attacked Bani al-Mustalaq in order to repel their aggression, and he was victorious over them, taking their wealth as booty as well as their women and children. The Jewish leaders then attempted to incite the Confederates (al-Ahzab) against the Muslims in order to put an end to Islam in its heartland, so the mushrikun, al-Ahbash, and"And in their rage, Allah drove back those who disbelieved; they gained no advantage." Allah provided sufficient protection for the believers in battle by sending a harsh wind and angelic troops against the disbelievers. And Allah is Ever All-powerful and all-Mighty." [al-Ahzab 33:25: interpretation]Because of their treason and breach of the covenant, the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) invaded the Jews of Bani Qurayzah, and Allah granted him victory, so he murdered their men, imprisoned their women and children, and took their possessions as plunder. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) resolved to visit the Ka'bah and perform Tawaf around it in 6 AH, but the mushrikun prevented him from doing so. He entered into a treaty with them at al-Hudaybiyah to stop the fighting for ten years, during which time the people would be safe and could choose what they wanted, and then the people entered Allah's religion in crowds [cf. al-Nasr 110:2].In 7 AH, the Messenger attacked Khaybar to put an end to the Jewish leaders who were causing harm to the Muslims; he besieged them, and Allah gave him victory; he captured their riches and territory as plunder; and he sent letters to the monarchs of the earth, welcoming them to Islam. To cope with the aggressors, the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) dispatched an army under the direction of Zayd ibn Harithah, but the Romans gathered a massive force and slaughtered the Muslim commanders, but Allah saved the rest of the Muslims from their evil. The kuffar of Makkah then breached the contract; therefore, the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) marched towards them with a massive army and invaded Makkah, cleansing the Ka'bah of idols and freeing it from the kuffar's custodianship. Then came Hunayn's campaign in Shawwal of 8 AH to repel the aggression of Thaqeef and Hawazen, which Allah defeated, and the Muslims captured a lot of booty. Then the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) continued his march to al-Taif and besieged it, but Allah did not decree that it should be conquered, so the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed for them, thenThe campaign of Tabuk took place in 9 AH, during a time of difficulty, hardship, and intense heat. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to Tabuk to defeat the Roman plots. He camped there, but no fighting took place, and he made a treaty with some of the tribes. He captured war booty, then returned to Madinah. This was his last military campaign. In the same year, delegations from the tribes came to Islam, including delegations from Tameem, Tayy, 'Abd al-Qays, and Bani Hanifah. They all became Muslims, and then the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded Abu Bakr to lead the people in Hajj that year. He sent 'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) with him and told him to recite Surah Bara. Whoever has a treaty with Allah's Messenger, that treaty will last till it expires."Capture of MakkahIn 10 AH, the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) resolved to perform Hajj and called on the people to do the same, and many people from Madinah and elsewhere joined him. He entered ihram at Dhu'l-Hulayfah and arrived in Makkah at Dhu'l-Hijjah, performing Tawaf and Sa'i and teaching the people their rituals. The Prophet Muhammad's Farewell SermonAt 'Arafah, he delivered a profound and thorough sermon in which he affirmed Islam's righteous rulings, saying:"O people, pay attention to my words, because I don't know if I'll see you again after this year." O people, your blood, your wealth, and your honour are as important to you as the holiness of this day, this month, and this land. Every Jahiliyyah practise is beneath my feet, and the Jahiliyyah blood feuds are annulled. The first blood claim that I delete is that of Ibn Rabi'ah ibn al-Harith, who was born among the Bani Sa'd clan and was killed by Hudhayl. The jahiliyyah riba is abolished, and the first riba I demolish is that of 'Abbas ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib. It has been entirely abolished.Fear Allah in regard to women, for you have taken them on Allah's security and made their bodies lawful to you by Allah's commands. Your authority over them is that they should not allow somebody to sit on your bed who you despise. If they do that, hit them, but not hard. Their rights over you are that you should treat them well and dress them appropriately.I have left you with something that, if followed, will guide you after I am gone: the Book of Allah. What would you say about me if you were asked?" They answered, "We would bear witness that you have communicated the message, fulfilled the trust, and advised us truly." Then he pointed with his index finger towards the sky, then towards the people, and repeated three times, "O Allah, bear witness, O Allah, bear witness."When Allah had refined this religion and established its fundamental foundations, Allah revealed to him in 'Arafah:"This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you, and chosen Islam as your religion." [al-Maidah 5:3: interpretation]This Hajj is known as Hajjat al-Wada' (the Farewell Pilgrimage) because during it, the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bade farewell to the people and did not perform Hajj after that; instead, the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned to Madinah after completing his Hajj. When did Prophet Muhammad pass away? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fell sick in 11 AH, in the month of Safar, and when the pain became too intense, he told Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) to lead the people in prayer. His sickness worsened in Rabi' al-Awwal, and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) died on Monday, Rabi' al-Awwal 11 AH.The Muslims were heartbroken, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was washed (ghusl), and the Muslims offered the funeral prayer for him on the 13th, in the evening, and he was buried in the house of 'Aishah. The Muslims then chose Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), his companion in the cave and during the Hijrah, to be their khalifah; after him, the position of khalifah passed to 'Umar, then to 'Uthman, then to 'Ali; these are the Khulafa al-Raashidun (the rightly guided Khalifahs); may Allah be pleased with them all.Prophet Muhammad is a shining example of character.Allah highly favoured His Messenger Muhammad and bestowed beautiful qualities upon him, as He states (interpretation of the meaning):"Did He not find you (O Muhammad) an orphan and provide you with shelter?" And He discovered you ignorant (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood) and guided you? And He found you destitute and made you wealthy (self-sufficient with self-satisfaction)? As a result, refrain from oppressing orphans. And do not turn away from the beggar. And declare your Lord's Grace (the Prophethood and all other Graces)." [al-Duha 93:6-11]Allah awarded His Messenger with great attributes that no other individual possessed, to the point where his Lord praised him for them:"And verily, you (O Muhammad) are held to an exalted standard of character" [al-Qalam 68:4; interpretation]By Allah's grace, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was able to bring people together and soften their hearts with these noble and admirable characteristics:"And by Allah's Mercy, you dealt with them gently." And if you had been stern and harsh, they would have split away from you; so overlook their flaws, seek Allah's pardon for them, and consult them in matters. Then, once you've made a decision, put your reliance in Allah; indeed, Allah likes people who trust in Him." [Al 'Imran 3:159: interpretation of the meaning]Allah sent His Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to all of humanity, revealed the Quran to him, and directed him to summon people to Allah, as He states (interpretation of the meaning):"O Muhammad, Prophet! We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner, and as one who invites to Allah [Islamic Monotheism, i.e., to worship none but Allah (Alone)] by His Leave, and as a lamp spreading light (through your instructions from the Quran and the Sunnah, the Prophet's legal ways) [al-Ahzab 33:46].As the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stated, Allah favoured His Messenger Muhammad over the other Prophets in six ways:"I have been favoured above the other Prophets in six ways: I have been given the ability of concise speech; I have been supported with fear [in the hearts of my enemies]; war booty has been made permissible for me; the earth has been made pure and a mosque [place of worship] for me; I have been sent to all mankind; and I am the seal of the Prophets." (Narrated by Muslims, 523)To join their Lord's Paradise, everyone in mankind must trust in him and follow his Shari'ah."And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad) will be admitted to the gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise) to abide therein, and that will be the great success." [al-Nisa 4:13: interpretation]
