Chapter 71.

Yesterday's incident made Sky realise that Casya was no longer her friend who she could go with as she pleased, no longer a lonely woman who could be her confidant, although, in the name of friendship, they still kept in touch. It felt like something was missing within Sky; half of her soul was starting to waver. Will he give up Casya for Tirta, or will he fight for Casya? After a moment of pondering, all Sky felt was loneliness. He was lonely because Casya couldn't be like before, always there for him even when Maudy didn't love him back. He wasn't like this. But, because of Casya, Sky wasn't even enthusiastic about coming to the office for the first time.
"Why you?" asked her friend Jean.
Nothing," Sky replied disinterestedly. Jean is his college friend; yes, they went to college together with Casya and Maudy. In the past, her college friends, even those from the same faculty, always teased her because Casya liked her. At first, she was normal, but after a while, Sky felt uncomfortable, especially when she really fell in love with Maudy. But, after a while, he finally got used to being associated with Casya rather than Maudy.
"You still haven't accepted Casya's love? teased Tian anyway, his basketball teammate.
"Well, doesn't Sky like Maudy? Doesn't it, Casya? Jayden, yes, that flawless child, commented for the first time when discussing Sky, Casya, and Maudy's love triangle, which turned out to be one-sided. Which, Casya likes Sky, and that man likes Maudy, uh, Maudy likes another man.
"Shut up! One day Sky will be angry; it seems like she's feeling this again. Besides, you're making lots of comments," chuckled Tuan too.
"Well, it's true, isn't that what I said? Besides, if you actually like Maudy, then just say it. Eh, you just kept it hidden. Now, the person isn't there. The person is already dead; only then will you regret it. Jayden continued again, but Sky didn't respond. He remained silent, clutching his basketball. Yes, they were gathered at Jayden's basketball court. Ordinary, rich people's children always have what ordinary people don't have.
"Maudy is still alive," said Sky casually. The other two friends were shocked and couldn't believe it, except for Jayden.
"Aren't you surprised? Sky asked Jayden.
"No," he answered, making Tian and Jean look at Jayden in surprise.
"Why?" Sky asked because he was just as confused as his other two friends.
"I went to Bandung a few days ago. And guess what I saw? Jayden asked, making the other two curious, and apparently not for Sky, because he knew the answer. Even though he wasn't sure, what was clear was that he guessed that Jayden had seen Maudy.
"Then, if you go to Bandung, how? Tian, who was impatient, immediately answered.
"Maudy, I met Maudy; I even greeted her. It's just like she doesn't know me; I think she lost her memory. He said he was looking at Sky with a look that was difficult to decipher.
"She really lost her memory," Sky added.
"So…." Jean really didn't believe it, especially Tian; he was the same as Tian with his ridiculous expression. Jayden threw peanuts at both of them, and Sky also chuckled.
"I'm not joking anymore," Tian protested.
"Right, only we know," continued Sky.
"Don't tell me you also had the idea." Jean pointed at Sky again.
"The idea was that even though Casya and Maudy's parents asked Casya's grandmother for help, Casya and I just hid what was necessary. Add Sky again.
"Then, now what's the problem? Maudy is still alive; you just need to say it to her, right? Then, where's the problem? Tian's voice returned, followed by Jean's nod.
"It's not that easy, Bambang... If he finds out, my feelings will change. Again, Jayden's voice made both of them turn to the man, and turning to Sky, they stared at Sky for a long time, even intensely.
Sky, who was stared at by her three friends, only sighed, neither evading nor taking it for granted. It's just that he hasn't been talking much lately.
"Sky, are you serious? Jean asked again.
"Say, I'm dreaming." Tian also joined in.
"You two weren't dreaming; he just took a long time to realise his feelings, didn't know to what extent everything could run normally, and to what extent he had to endure all the stigmas and doctrines he thought would be effective. Jayden's voice reminded him again, making his other two friends feel queer. Because it wasn't usually for Jayden to comment so much, Jayden was a guy who got together without his usual comments.
"What's wrong with you? You're really distracted; you've been talking a lot lately," Jean responded to Jayden.
"Yeah, I'm surprised," Tian added.
"Sorry, if I said a lot in the end, I just want to say that you can't just control those feelings. It's just, well, I just realised that you've lost him. That's all, and so is Casya. I've told you before that I like him. Well, even though at that time my feelings couldn't be called love or anything like that, I gave Sky a chance, just like Casya gave her the chance, to realise your feelings right away. It should be, yes. But what? Instead, he thought Casya's feelings were just an empty shell that he could actually play with. Well, now that Casya has a boyfriend, she's actually sad. Jayden's explanation made everything make sense, because he rarely spoke in the end, so in the end everything became silent.
You... do you like Casya? Tian asked in disbelief:
"You should just let it flow like that; then why does your face look so unhappy? Jean asked again because he himself didn't know whether it was true or not.
"You really like Casya now?" Why don't you let your feelings develop, as they should? This time, Tian also did not want to miss
"Los is too scared to admit that you really fell in love with him. Are you that proud to admit that? Jayden cut back on what Sky was about to say.
"Now do you like Casya? Tian answered again.
"Sure, right?" Jean also responded.
"Casya already has a boyfriend. And one of them is that she doesn't have friends to hang out with like she used to. Jayden answered again.
"Why? They're friends, right?"
"Precisely because of that, because if everyone already has a partner, they won't be able to hang out with their friends all the time. For single people, you can keep hanging out like this."
"Well, leave yourself single." Tian did not want to lose.
"Indeed. Because if not, I wouldn't be here. Jayden said anyway.
Sky came home, and she didn't want to go to the office anymore; she came back to her apartment, not her house. Her friends make fun of her because she can't even realise how she feels. He remembers Jayden's words very well; when they're gone, they're felt. Jayden likes Casya; it's been a while. What Sky never ended was when Jayden said, "I don't want Casya to cry, and you're the reason she's crying. Sky, you and I are friends; we are all your friends. But I don't want you to disturb Casya's relationship just because you discovered your feelings too late. Because the friend I have isn't a loser, right?"
