Chapter 21 Lives of the middle class is real

Chapter Twenty one – Lives of the middle class is real
They arrived at the house in the taxi, since it was a dropping, they arrived at her house in minutes. When they arrived, Cecelia looked around at the small house in front of her and she felt sorry for Tilda but she wasn’t going to let her know that.
No one was there waiting for them as Jacob has promised and they thought that the person should be on his way since they arrived earlier than the stipulated time.
They stood in the small porch in front of the house and waited for the keys. Tilda was still holding on to her head and she supported herself on Cecelia.
Her weight was weighing Cecelia down and she couldn’t help but complain,
“You know, my life was perfect and I was living peacefully until you and Fred walked into it. Now, you are suffering because of your stubbornness towards him, I believe that it is about time that you stop trying to make him sack you.”
Tilda nodded, she didn’t have it in her to fight with Cecelia so, she quietly accepted her criticism. But then, her eyes suddenly felt blurry and before she knew it, her sight was lost. Her body fell on Cecelia and her weight made her take steps back to able to stabilize herself.
Then she cursed at Tilda,
“Young woman, the next time that you want to hug me, tell me beforehand. Enough now, stand on your feet.”
After saying this, Cecelia thought that she would stand by herself but she still stayed on her. It was then she knew that something was wrong, she could feel her body heat through her dress and her breath was faint on her neck.
She has fainted, oh my God, what do I do now? Somebody help!!.
Cecelia moved her body along with hers thinking of dragging her to the road to stop a car but she saw someone park a brand new red sports car. She recognized it to be Fred’s so, she sighed heavily and shouted when she saw that Fred was adjusting his clothes in the car,
“Fred Royale, will you look over here and stop that nonsense? Who do you want to impress? The dying lady?”
Fred heard her words and looked in their way, he saw them and thought, because he hadn’t heard Cecelia’s words correctly,
‘Why is she hugging her so tight?’
He came down the car and walked towards them with the bag in his hand. Cecelia saw how he was walking and shouted,
“Hurry up, young man, she is has fainted.”
It was then Fred rushed towards them in a hurry,
He threw the bag down and carried her in his arms, he was rushing her to the car when Cecelia shouted at him,
“Won’t you take her insurance and hospital card? In fact, she has first aid so let’s get that first.”
With that, she was already opening the door to her house. She opened the door and when Fred entered the middle of the room, he stood there shocked. Cecelia then shouted at him saying,
“I can’t believe that you are making me talk so much. Put her on the couch and let’s start looking for her medicine. Check the sitting room, I will check her bed room.”
Fred was confused how she will find her bed room until she saw her open the only other door in the house which she found unlocked.
He kept her on the couch and looked around to see if he could find some water. She was still breathing and it was a good thing, maybe, if she drank some water, she will be okay.
His eyes darted around confused, but when he saw that a cupboard was suck at one corner of the room, he moved towards it and realized that it was her kitchen. Fred smiled and said to himself,
“How cozy, I can’t believe that the life on the television as the lives of the middle class is real.”
He opened the cupboard and fetched a cup and then he saw a medium fridge at the corner and not far from it was her electric burner. He looked at the parking with worry in his eyes and then questioned himself,
“Is it safe to put everything electric in one place?”
As he was saying this, Cecelia came out of her room, closing the door after her with a complicated expression on her face. She looked at the Tilda and walked slowly towards her with some sympathy drawn in her eyes. Fred looked in her way and asked her,
“Did you find the medicine?” It was when she heard his words that she broke out of stupor and said to him,
“There’s nothing in the room that can hide it. Am sorry Tilda but I couldn’t help but be blank.”
Fred shook his head uncaring and came for the drugs, he moved towards her and cross checked the medicines and found her the ones that were liquid. He moved her head on his laps and pried her lips with the administering spoon.
When he was done feeding her with the drugs, he found Cecelia still at the door and her eyes everywhere in the room. Fred scoffed and said to her,
“I thought you were worried about Tilda, what’s with your expression? You don’t like where you are? Is not everyone that is as rich as us. It was today that I came to notice this.”
Cecelia sighed and shook her head and then came to Tilda’s side, she looked at her face and she suddenly held her head. She wrinkled her face and she sat down holding her head. Fred was confused and so he inquired,
“Do you have the same ailment as her? Should I get a place to lay down as well? Don’t try anything funny here because I should be going back to work and you are the one going to take care of her.”
