Black Market

Chapter sixty seven
Black Market
Aarons POV.
I took everything out of the locker after encoding it with a machine I had in my pocket. They weren’t small files and they weren’t just files but also video tapes, pen drives and tape recorders. I found out my uncle to be very creepy because how could one keep all the evidences against him in one place and lock it away?
I called my car and it broke down the gates and entered, I took all the evidences into the car and drove away. I started listening in to the recordings and watching the tapes and found seize less information about the crimes he had committed. They were amazingly murderous and the least of the crimes he had committed was raping Sheila. And he had started this journey when he was just a young man and he had good parents but he got into bad company and then the greed for more money became his target in his life. And surprisingly, he had no heir to inherit all the wealth he cumulated all those years. I was almost done with all the tapes when I saw 1923 president written on one of it. It was twenty years back but I was curious about what he did with that president so I put I tape in the player. And watched how Kings parents were murdered and he was later sold in the black market. I watched the tape several times and felt like dying and I thought,
‘Who would have thought that the man king has being looking for was the same man I call uncle?’
He had so many young boys lives and I knew that not all of them had come out as king had.
I scattered them all angrily and was about stopping looking into them because they were heart tearing videos but then another one caught my attention and it was in the miss of the others. I pulled it out and it had a writing on it named, Son – in – law. I put the tape in with shaking hands wishing so badly it was what I was thinking but I was sorry in the end, he had disappointed me so much to the extent of killing my father over a spoilt deal because, he was one of his boys. I didn’t know if my mother knew about it but then I guessed she really knew that was the reason she didn’t report to the police when we found his dead body. And refused to talk to them when they eventually found out, she only cried as response to them and continued crying till date.
My heart finally shattered and I sat in the car dejected then I finally set off to the police after all the hesitation I had before. I got the place and there she stood looking so close into my eyes that I started tearing.
She took steps closer to me, I gave her my cheek to slap but with tears in her eyes she held it calmly and cried and said,
I was worried sick when I heard about why you did and why you were wanted by the police but I knew you would show up so I waited for here everyday during the last two weeks but you are now showing up. I know my son to be a good boy so what happened?
I took her in my arms and cried,
Mom…I am sorry I disappointed you. But I needed to know what happened to dad because I just couldn’t accept his sudden death and you wouldn’t tell me no matter how much I asked. I am so sorry…
Third Person POV.
They sat in a car a little far from the police station and from the people who stood hugging each other. She looked at him with all her attention but then suddenly shook her head and said,
“I don’t seem to have anything about him in memory except his name. I think we should go away from here, but then why is he handcuffed?”
King bowed his head and whispered,
“It’s because he did something bad, but then it’s good he has admitted his crimes and is willing to be punished for it. ”
She nodded and quipped and whispered too,
“Then I think he isn’t that bad right? Lily, what do you think of him?”
Lily looked through the window at the man in tears and also whispered,
“I think he is handsome and cute and…”
King looked at them and annoyingly closed the window, then suddenly two eyes landed on him glaring at him. He glared back at them and asked,
“What? There is a man right beside you and that too a killer handsome one too and you are there adoring a criminal?”
Then they both answered loudly and simultaneously,
“He is not a criminal. ”
