Amelia sat on the beach, staring out at the ocean. The waves crashed against the shore, the sound like a lullaby that soothed her soul. She had been coming to this beach since she was a child, and it was always a place where she could find peace and quiet. But today, she was anything but peaceful. Her mind was racing with thoughts of Eli and Leo. She loved them both, but she didn't know who she loved more. She had been dating Eli for the past few months, and they had a lot in common. They both loved the ocean, they were both passionate about environmentalism, and they made each other laugh. But Amelia couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. Leo was different. He was mysterious and intriguing, and he made Amelia feel things she had never felt before. But he was also guarded and secretive, and Amelia didn't know if she could ever really trust him. Amelia sighed and stood up. She knew that she couldn't keep putting off this decision any longer. She had to choose between Eli and Leo. She walked back to her car and drove to Eli's house. He was sitting on the porch, reading a book. "Hey," she said. "Can I talk to you?" Eli put down his book and smiled. "Of course." They sat down on the porch, and Amelia told Eli how she was feeling. She told him about her love for him, and about her feelings for Leo. Eli listened patiently, and when she was finished, he said, "I understand. This is a tough decision, and I don't envy you." "I know," Amelia said. "I just don't know what to do." "The only thing you can do is follow your heart," Eli said. "If you love Leo more than me, then you should be with him." Amelia nodded. "I know you're right." She stood up and hugged Eli. "Thank you for being so understanding." "Of course," Eli said. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what." Amelia walked back to her car and drove away. She knew that she had made the right decision, but it didn't make it any easier. She drove to Leo's house and parked in front. She took a deep breath and got out of the car. She walked up to Leo's door and knocked. He opened the door and smiled when he saw her. "Hey," he said. "What's up?" "I need to talk to you," Amelia said. They went inside and sat down on the couch. Amelia told Leo everything, just like she had told Eli. When she was finished, Leo was silent for a moment. Then he said, "I'm glad you told me. I know this wasn't easy." "It wasn't," Amelia said. "But I had to be honest with you." "I'm glad you were," Leo said. "I love you, Amelia. And I'm willing to wait for you, if that's what you need." Amelia smiled. "Thank you," she said. "I appreciate that." She knew that she didn't need to wait for Leo. She knew that she loved him, and she wanted to be with him. "I love you too," she said. Leo leaned in and kissed her. It was a soft, gentle kiss that filled Amelia with warmth and happiness. When they pulled away, Leo said, "I'm so glad you're here." "Me too," Amelia said. She knew that she had made the right decision. She was with the person she loved, and that was all that mattered. Amelia and Leo sat on the couch, holding hands. They were both smiling, but Amelia could see the relief in Leo's eyes. He had been worried that she would choose Eli, and now he could finally relax and enjoy the moment. "I'm so happy," Leo said. "Me too," Amelia said. They kissed again, and this time the kiss was deeper and more passionate. Amelia felt her heart racing, and she knew that she was where she was meant to be. After a while, they pulled away and looked at each other. "I love you," Leo said. "I love you too," Amelia said. They sat in silence for a few minutes, just enjoying each other's company. Then Leo said, "So, what's next?" "I don't know," Amelia said. "But I'm excited to find out." Leo smiled. "Me too." They stood up and hugged. Then Amelia said, "I should probably go. I have a lot to think about." "Okay," Leo said. "I'll walk you out." They walked to the door, and Leo kissed her one last time. "I'll see you soon," he said. "I can't wait," Amelia said. She stepped outside and waved goodbye. Then she got in her car and drove away. As she drove, she thought about the future. She knew that it would be with Leo, and she was excited to see what they could accomplish together. She also knew that she would never forget Eli, and she would always be grateful for his friendship. Amelia arrived home and went inside. She was tired, but she couldn't sleep. She kept thinking about Leo, and she couldn't wait to see him again. She finally fell asleep a few hours later, and she dreamed of the future. She dreamed of her and Leo living together in a small house by the ocean. She dreamed of them working together to protect the environment. And she dreamed of them growing old together, still loving each other as much as they did today. Amelia woke up the next morning feeling refreshed and optimistic. She knew that she had made the right decision, and she was excited to start her new life with Leo. She got dressed and went for a walk on the beach. The sun was shining, and the waves were crashing against the shore. It was a beautiful day, and Amelia couldn't help but smile. She knew that she was where she was meant to be.
