GOLDEN LINE: Aid

Kierson spent most of his time at Ferrer's training headquarters. Everything was just making him frustrated that he needed to distract himself from everything. He had to hold onto his sanity.
“You have to get ready, Kierson. The party will start soon.”
Kierson looked at Kier who was leaning against the wall while he looked at him. He sighed as he pointed the gun at Kier and shot a bullet without a second doubt. The part of the wall over Kier’s head got a big hole.
“This is why I hate it when Vishnu and Derrick come into the picture,” he declared as he strode near Kierson. “I know you have psychotic tendencies but please hold yourself together. Or would you rather want to see them triumph after they saw how wrecked you are?”
Kierson sighed and got the bottle of water that was on the ground and drank it in one go. “I sometimes just wanted to destroy them at once but I have to investigate everything that my grandfather didn’t tell me. The bastard, Wayne Emerson, is the only person who could give me that.”
“If you could just let it go and live for yourself, you would not suffer like how you are suffering right now,” Kier said.
Kierson turned his back to go back to his hotel room. If he could just let it go, then he wouldn't be struggling like now. He wouldn’t even bother to look at it, but he just couldn’t. His parents were killed and so were his grandparents. As long as Wayne Emerson was alive, he wouldn’t let his hatred go.
After taking a bath, Kierson wore his usual suit. He heard his phone ring and immediately answered it when he saw Leon’s name.
“We’ve arrived,” Leon declared.
“You’re too early. Did Valenn also accept the invitation?” Kierson asked.
“Yeah. We got here together. Anyway, I suggest you calm your heart before going here.”
Kierson fixed his tie. “Is there something wrong?” he asked again.
Kierson heard Leon sigh. “It’s Vishnu and Derrick. They are intimately flirting, not minding the crowd and the gossip.”
Kierson brushed his hair and looked at his phone, distracting himself. But those words haunt his head.
He knew they were together but he couldn’t just brush off his feelings for Vishnu. He loved him too much and that didn’t change even after Vishnu chose Derrick and even when Vishnu kept on choosing Derrick again and again.
But unlike before, he won’t beg anymore. He wouldn’t let the thing that happened in the past repeat itself.
After their conversation, Kierson ended the call and called Harvey to get his motor ready which Harvey immediately arranged. After hearing the information about the invitation, Kierson started his journey earlier than Harvey and Kier as he couldn’t ride any type of four-wheeled car. He arrived in the city one day before the party, stayed at a hotel in City B, and waited for Harvey and Kier.
It didn’t take an hour before he arrived at the Night Stripped. Harvey and Kier were waiting for him in the parking lot.
The ambiance brings back a lot of anamneses. The whole city was making him nostalgic and it brought a lot of depressing memories.
The three of them entered the bar. Everyone looked at them and started gossiping, but it didn’t affect Ferrer's representatives.
“I didn’t know that we’re this famous,” Kier said and chuckled.
Harvey sighed. “It’s not you who’s famous, Kier. It’s the boss,” he replied. “You’re obviously walking in the shadows so let’s not assume things that aren’t true, alright?” he added.
Kier snorted as he knew why Harvey was like this to him. “I already said I am sorry. Why are you so agitated?”
Kierson finally saw the table that was reserved for them. He strode in that direction while Harvey and Kier followed. “Fraudsters are way worse than felons.”
The three of them were seated.
“Are you saying that killers are guiltier than cheating men?” Kier asked as he rolled his eyes.
Kierson laughed. “We killed people, Kier. Are we any worse than you?” he asked.
Harvey chuckled while Kier just snorted again.
The party began as the hosts started speaking. Kierson didn’t pay any attention and just closed his eyes while he was crossing his legs. His arms were crossed over his chest and his back was leaning against the chair’s backrest.
The party was getting boring.
There’s no outstanding event happening. Harvey and Kier were probably on their own, sneaking somewhere and leaving him out. He just let them go as he couldn’t bear to be the third wheel.
“I didn’t know that the Ferrer’s Master was such a loner.”
Kierson looked at the man that was standing across from him. He looked at him with wry amusement. “And you don’t seem to be the guy who likes to mind someone's business. What do you want?”
The man laughed. “I heard you’re gay? Is that right?”
Kierson rolled his eyes. “Yes. Though you’re not exactly my type. Even if you strip in front of me, that wouldn’t arouse my interest so please fuck off.”
“I am Blake. I am straight.”
“Good for you then! Congratulations. Now I’ll repeat, please fuck off,” Kierson said, dismissing the man.
Blake sat beside Kierson without asking for Kierson’s permission. “The phone call that used Vishnu’s name. The man that hacked your system and shut down your phone. Do you remember?”
Blake finally gets Kierson’s attention.
“So you’re that motherfucker?” Kierson asked.
Blake laughed. “It seems that you remember. We need your help.”
Kierson looked at Blake. He was still very young but he was very mature. Kierson tilted his head. “What kind of help are you asking for and what can I gain if I aided you?” he asked.
Blake got a flash drive in his pocket and gave it to Kierson. “There’s a video in it. Play it and you'll understand everything. I’ll try to contact you to explain the benefits if you work with us whenever I am free.”
“At least give me a reason why I should trust you.”
Blake looked at Kierson indifferently. “We both wanted to destroy Wayne Emerson.”
