“My remedy,” Kierson whispered. Harvey immediately pulled Kierson away from Vishnu. He rubbed his temple and said, “Forget what he said. He really wasn’t in his right mind right at this moment. He usually does this with everyone who’s exactly his type.” Vishnu clenched his jaw. “What do you mean?” Harvey rolled his eyes. “I believe that’s out of your concern,” Harvey replied. He looked around the whole bar and said to those people who witnessed such commotion, “I hope what you saw right now would not leak outside this bar and wouldn’t go around the media. If we ever hear one word or two regarding this case, we won’t give a second thought about ruining you and your family,” he announced. “We know how it feels like to be in hell and we will be more willing to serve you the same hell.” The crowd lulled. Kierson brushed his hair and closed his eyes. What the hell just did he do? Kierson looked at the man that was lying on the floor again and felt his anger surge up. “If I wasn't sober and wasn’t stopped by this handsome man here, I would have torn off your limbs and your arms would have not stayed intact on your body. Grabbing my ass would be your biggest mistake in your life and you’ll regret it for the rest of your life,” Kierson said. He glared at the man. “The second time I see you, I’ll definitely kill you so make sure I'll never see that disgusting face again.” Kierson turned his back on the crowd and never looked back. Vishnu saw the worst of him. They saw his unstable and vulnerable state. The crowd saw how unstable the Master of the Ferrer was and how ruthless their people were. This would be the first and the last warning to the people who planned on harassing a member of the Ferrer. Rumors that lurked all over the city about the Ferrer household being ruthless after the old Master was brutally murdered were true. Kierson clenched his jaw. He planned to go back to his mansion and drink his pills there. He was afraid that if he stayed at the Night Stripped, he was afraid that something might happen again that would make him lose his control. No one should know how wrecked he was for the sake of their estate. “You’re already leaving?” Kierson turned to face the man. It was Noah. “Do I know you?” Kierson asked innocently. Noah creased his brows. Vishnu, who was looking at Kierson, walked toward his brother and held Noah’s arms. “Noah, let's stop this,” Vishnu whispered. Noah laughed. “What? You’ve smitten with this asshole again?” he asked. Kierson kneaded his temple. Smitten? Ridiculous! “I don’t know you and if you’re here because you’ve mistaken me again for someone else, you have to fuck off.” Noah chuckled. “And you expect me to believe that crap?” “I don’t,” Kierson replied. He smiled politely. “So if you please excuse me, I have to leave. Let’s go, Harvey.” Noah clenched his fist. “You bring mischief to Derrick, Jerson. And your family killed my parents. We were suffering while you were living a great life!” Noah yelled. “How could you deceive us? How could you fake your death and make us feel guilty?” Kierson laughed. “I told you I am not Jerson,” he stated. “It’s a pity that I never met the guy Jerson. He must have suffered a lot seeing how you all put all the blame on that guy.” Kierson gave a wry smile. “Why don’t you investigate your mother’s case again? I am sure that your enemy is closer than you think. Let the dead guy rest in peace.” “What do you mean dead?” Vishnu asked. “Is he not? I thought he was dead seeing you all became so delusional, calling me Jerson all of the sudden. Plus, that guy mentioned the fake death of l Jerson.” Kierson laughed amusedly. “What a pitiful soul, indeed.” Harvey took a deep breath and held Kierson’s arm. “That’s enough Soviet. It’s probably just an honest mistake. You’ve suffered enough and taking the blame for someone’s sake will do you no good. Just ignore them.”
Kierson shrugged his shoulders and turned his back to them. Thankfully, nobody tried to stop him from leaving. Kierson was clenching his jaw as he walked. So, they were trying to be acquainted with him so they could pass all the blame on him again when in fact, the root of this mess was their ally, Wayne Emerson? Kierson felt like going insane. “Kill Jane Draco and bring all the slaves to me,” Kierson commanded after they get out of the bar. Harvey’s eyes grew bigger. “What? I mean, why would we kill Jane Draco?” Kierson smiled. “Why not?” he asked. “This is not fair for her—” “Life's not fair, Harvey,” Kierson interrupted. “The people, justice, destiny, and everything that dwells in this world. It is always biased and unfortunately, we are the valued victims of this arbitrary world,” Kierson declared. “In order to make the world balance, some people have to suffer and some would rejoice because they are fortunate enough to be chosen as lucky.” Harvey closed his eyes and took a deep breath. “Think over it again.” Kierson glared at Harvey. He then mounted on his motor as he told him, “Okay then. Bring Jane Draco to me and kill the slaves.” After saying those, Kierson started the engine and left. Harvey massages his temple. Why does Noah have to say those words again and trigger Kierson? Even though he didn’t know Noah, Harvey knows that Kierson and Noah were at least friends in the past. After the incident that almost took the life of Kierson, they met after five years only to ridicule Kierson again. Noah approached Kierson only to blame him for the things he didn’t do. If they really treat Kierson as their friend, they should have at least asked if he was okay, after all, they witnessed Kierson fall on that ridge with the car covered with a bomb. If Kierson wasn’t saved by someone, he would have died, either from drowning or from the bomb’s explosion. But what was more ridiculous was that no one tried to save Kierson. That’s why no matter how nasty and unstable Kierson was, he couldn’t blame him. If he was Kierson, he would kill himself.
