DARK HORSE: Guests

A man so lost finally ruined his home.
Even after dismissing Kio Bourner, Kierson couldn’t get those words out of his head.
He was thinking about it over and over again.
What happened that made Alex Ferrer hate the Ferrer family so much? What did Alex do to make the Ferrer household hate him? Why do things keep on getting worse?
Why do these things find no end?
Kierson immediately called Harvey and told them to wait in the Ferrer’s estate.
He had to find Alex Ferrer.
He knows that Wayne Emerson wasn’t the mastermind of all of this trouble, but what he didn’t expect was that it was his grandfather's older brother. He didn’t even know that Harold Ferrer has an older brother.
No one told him about Alex Ferrer. Not his parents. Not his grandfather.
They only knew how to keep Kierson in the dark.
Arriving at his estate, everyone in the patrol hurriedly runs toward him.
“What happened?” Kierson asked with his brows furrowed.
One of his people out of breath retorted, “The Oliveira brothers are here. We told them that you weren’t here but they insisted that you’re just hiding. We couldn’t hurt them and toss them out without your command, Sir.”
Kierson frustratedly massaged his temple. “Why would I hide?” he whispered.
“I can ask them—”
“Dark, you’re dismissed,” Kierson stated. “Tell your captain that you guys can continue patrolling around the manor.”
Dark bobbed his head. “Okay.”
Kierson couldn't help but laugh. Dark is the youngest among his people and he was rescued by Kierson out of being a slave.
After seeing that the Patrol squad followed his command, Kierson decided to meet the intruders.
What are they up to now?
With knitted brows, Kierson meets four people sitting on his favorite sofa.
“I wonder what happened, seeing all my people run towards me like I was a sort of celebrity and they are my fans,” Kierson said and chuckled. “It’s been five years since this estate had some guests and these kids do not know how to properly greet them,” he stated. “In this case, on their behalf, I beg your pardon for treating you harshly.”
Kierson sat on the sofa and commanded the maid to serve them coffee.
“What brought you here?” he asked.
Noah was the one who answered first. “Give me Jane Draco’s son.”
Kierson raised his brow. “Why would I? I have the legal custody of Javiel signed by the father, Jonas Draco.” Kierson sighed. “How about you? Aside from Javiel's mother's corpse, what evidence could make your guardianship legal?”
“This house isn't for a kid to grow up in!” Noah yelled.
Kierson laughed. “What do you mean, Mr. Oliveira? I grew up here and I became such a fine man. I could afford everything. I can give Javiel everything. What made you think that way?”
Van smirked. “This is obviously a criminal's house.”
Kierson crossed his legs. “What made you different? I heard that you almost killed Leon by forcing him to donate his blood to his father when Leon himself needed a blood transfusion because of his condition. Would you raise my Javiel to be like yourself? Do you think saving one person by harming one would make you a hero? What an idiot douchebag,” he said.
Van clenched his jaw.
Kierson looked at the four people; Vishnu, Noah, Van, and Derrick.
Kierson smiled politely at Derrick. “How’s your father?”
Vishnu furrowed his brows. “That’s enough!”
Kierson squinted his eyes. “I am asking because I am curious. After all, Derrick is my uncle and his father was my grandfather. Isn’t it normal for a family to ask how one was doing?”
Derrick closed his eyes and sighed. “He's fine, Soviet. Long time no see.”
Derrick looked like he wasn’t comfortable talking about his parents. Noah seemed uneasy and Van was the same. Vishnu was just looking at him, calculating his every move.
Of course, they should be. They should be cautious around him.
One way or another, they are defending Wayne Emerson and Kierson intended to kill the person they are protecting.
Both parties wanted peace but they have different ways of doing it.
The maid arrived and served them the tea.
Seeing their reaction, Kierson sipped his coffee and said, “Don’t worry. This estate is not fond of poisons. We torture our victims to death, not poison them,” he declared.
Vishnu sighed. “About the child–”
“Honey?!”
Vishnu’s statement was interrupted by a loud voice shouting inside the mansion. It was Kier who was calling him loudly.
Kierson sighed.
Kier must be drunk again.
“Honey?!” Kier shouted again.
Kierson frustratedly massages his temple. “Go back to your home, motherfucker!” he shouted back at Kier who was disturbing him and his guests.
Kierson got up without asking for his guests’ permission and walked towards Kier who was in Harvey's arms. Harvey was carrying Kier in a bridal position.
Kierson chuckled. “How could this ugly giant make our little Harvey hold him like this?” he mumbled.
Harvey looked at the people on the sofa. “You have guests?”
Kierson gave off a wry smile. “Sort of. I’m sorry but I think I will not be able to help you with this. You can use the guest room on the third floor near my room.”
Kierson was about to leave them when Kier held his hand and pulled him closer making him lose his balance. Guessing that Kierson would tower over him, Harvey instantly let go of Kier and stepped a few paces back. As Kier fell to the ground, he also dragged Kierson down. Their lips met.
“Honey,” Kier whispered drunkenly while still licking Kierson's lips.
Kierson hit Kier which made Kier lose his consciousness.
With his unusual dark eyes, Kierson looked at Harvey. “Harvey,” he said.
Harvey gulped. “Ye-yes?”
Kierson wiped his lips. “Kill that motherfucker and confiscate all of his cards. Freeze his bank account and don’t let him get out of the guest room. The motherfucker was taking drugs.” He brushed his hair. “If you don’t follow me, I’ll kick your ass.”
Harvey nodded.
Kierson goes back to the sofa and drinks his coffee in one go.
“Was that your boyfriend?” Derrick asked.
“He is not. Just some motherfucker who gets on my nerves daily,” Kierson replied. “Anyway, can we continue this tomorrow or the next day after tomorrow? I am not in the mood to talk right now.” Kierson closed his eyes. “Please, someone escort them out of the manor. My head is aching. I wouldn't be able to escort them myself.”
Men with armor looked at each other and decided to escort the guests out of the estate, unscratched.
Closing his eyes, Kierson could hear footsteps getting out of the mansion. As the footsteps faded, he opened his eyes and frustratedly massaged his temple.
Trouble after another.
He just wished for it to stop. He really needed to find Alex Ferrer and end this one and for all.
For everyone’s peace of mind, he had to end this.
