Chapter 106. Death Threats!

When Salsa woke up early in the morning, she was confused about where she was. However, after a while, he finally realized where he was, at Lia's house. While her two best friends were still asleep, Salsa finally decided to wake up first. He paid attention to his surroundings and cleaned up all the clutter in silence. At the same time, he heard his cell phone ring indicating a new message.
A frown appeared on his forehead, he timidly looked at his cell phone before seeing the name written on it, Marsha. Did that woman already know that she was telling the truth to Aini? Or maybe Leo already knows too? Imagining that possibility gave Salsa a chill. He tried very hard to ignore the feeling of fear that was growing inside of him and then reading the message that was sent, he had to confirm its contents.
Her eyes widened as she read its contents. He glanced alternately at Lia and Aini before taking a deep breath. It felt like he had no other choice. Therefore, with a smile that showed that she felt guilty, Salsa collected all her things, left a note and headed out to leave Lia's house. Maybe, this is the best way for all of them. He would not continue to burden them.
“It took you so long to arrive,” said Marsha, who was already waiting at a café. Salsa, who now looks neater, just smiles a little. Of course, it took him a long time because he couldn't get ready at Lia's house, afraid that one of them would wake up, Salsa had to go home first to get ready.
“Sorry,” answered Salsa in a small voice. Unlike his previous self, full of confidence and able to challenge Marsha, this time he was quiet and submissive to her. Obviously, there is something strange, it's just that even Salsa doesn't want to admit this weirdness. “Why… was I summoned? Want anything else? Wasn't my last mission clear?
Marsha took a deep breath while shaking his head, as if tired of facing someone like Salsa. "I've always told you. What's done is you and Leo, not you and me. So far, have you helped me, no? Therefore, you also have to pay a fair amount for me.”
“That's not…,” said Salsa, who then stopped. He even bit his lower lip to stop himself from saying anything. He looked down and squeezed his hand, not caring if it might leave a mark later. “By the way, what do you want?”
“Well, that's just right. Smart kid.” A chuckle escaped from Marsha. However, instead of immediately answering Salsa's words, he immediately stalled for time by sipping his drink loudly and tapping the table, as if he wanted to indicate that time was ticking.
“Speak quickly, I don't have much time!”
Before Salsa could snap at Marsha even more, Marsha gave him a sharp and deadly look. This time he too was silent and still, like a puppy in the presence of a wolf. Her body looked so small, while at the same time it seemed to be shaking. Salsa looks so sad now, like a prisoner waiting for his death sentence. It is clear that the fear exuded by Salsa brings happiness to others.
Knowing that Salsa wouldn't mess around anymore, Marsha returned her expression to normal and smiled sweetly, as if she wanted to say that they were just drinking coffee as friends. When she was satisfied, Marsha finally cleared her throat, put down her remaining cup of coffee aloud before looking at Salsa. The woman now looked more relaxed, but also more terrible.
“I want… you can't do anything for Aini.” The words made Sasha speechless. He even looked at Marsha like he was crazy. What does he mean by that? "There's someone waiting for Dave, he's been waiting very faithfully. But, because of Aini…” Marsha's expression, which was full of hatred, now showed a sad side. Salsa, who saw this swallowed her saliva.
“What does this have to do with Aini? If the person doesn't like it, then that's his problem.” Salsa's words had some truth to it, even though she didn't know what kind of relationship actually existed, she could already guess that nothing would settle down between them. Unfortunately, Marsha, who heard that, was not at all happy, so she slapped Salsa hard in the same place.
“Try talking again. What do you say? Isn't Aini's fault?” Salsa, who heard that, opened her mouth, just about to say another word. However, he easily had to swallow all of his words back because he was slapped even harder. Every time he opened his mouth, he would get one slap. "'Try talking. Why are you just silent now? All these incidents and problems exist because of Aini. So, don't ever dodge it. Unless you want to protect him.”
Salsa remembered her promise that she would fight. However, before he could say anything, he also remembered the plan made by Arjuna. Therefore, he will now pretend that he is not close. “No, I would rather not protect Aini. If by protecting her, I'm going to be fine… I don't want to.” A satisfied grin appeared on Marsha's lips. Even though the threat he gave was nothing.
"Said friend, yes. That other girl… hm, what's her name? Lia? Looks like he's also fit for spending. I think if a girl like her were sold to a boy who is an idiot, how much would I win?” Sasha's eyes widened when she heard that. What will Marsha do to Lia? "Why are you so surprised? Aren't you guys not friends anymore? So, what can I do? With my efforts, surely later he will stress. Aini will also be left behind, right?”
“What do you mean …?” Salsa was at a loss for words, she couldn't stop thinking about what Marsha would do. However, at the same time, he had to be able to restrain himself from bringing this information to his two best friends. Marsha glanced at Salsa up and down before smiling sweetly.
“What do you think? Just guess. I'm not going to tell you anything except what to do next. I'm not as stupid as Leo, I know that what I hold is not just an enemy that can return to my hands. It's like a bomb that can explode at any time. While I will believe in myself, the bomb will never explode.”
A smile reappeared on Marsha's face when she said that. Satisfied with having conveyed the message he wanted, he took a sip of the coffee he ordered and got up from his seat, not forgetting he said that all the orders had been paid for, and left Salsa. The abandoned woman could only blink her eyes many times. What does it mean that Lia will be taken to an unrighteous man? The fear inside Salsa was getting bigger, so she took out her cell phone with trembling hands. His eyes were slightly out of focus.
Slowly, he started typing messages to Arjuna, whose number he had saved. Briefly, he said, “Lia is in danger. Marsha wants to hurt Lia and take her to an illegal place. Please take care of Lia too.”
