Chapter 108. Revenge in the Heart.

“Eh? I had absolutely no idea something like that happened. Terrible, huh,” said Marsha who chuckled, her tone as if she were insulting the man sitting in front of her, none other than Leo. Obviously, hearing Marsha's words and tone made Leo displeased. He frowned while his lips pursed.
“Stop acting like that, I'm disgusted to see it,” commented Leo, who folded his arms in front of his chest. Seeing that the man was already distracted, Marsha chuckled again before running his hand through her hair, as if she was tidying it up. “Then, why do you know you want to meet me?”
“That Salsa guy… seems like he can't be trusted anymore.” It's still feeling irritated and angry, Leo only raised one eyebrow, too lazy to speak. “He and Aini, it seems like they're getting better, with one of his best friends again, Lia, huh? But… I don't think Lia will be able to be with Aini for long.”
“What are you doing again?”
At first, Leo just sat lazily, leaning on the couch where he was sitting now. However, hearing Marsha's words, he immediately sat up straight. Her emotion-filled gaze now clearly showed surprise, as well as confusion. What is the meaning of such a saying? Not only that, Marsha also looked so calm and didn't seem to have a problem with it at all. Immediately, Leo seemed hit by fear. What should he say? What should he reply? If his reply offends Marsha?
In her confusion, the woman only glanced at Leo, feeling so happy when she noticed the change in the man's facial expression that took place continuously. Thus, he immediately picked up his glass and took a sip in a loud voice, as if he wanted to startle Leo. Of course, he managed to do this. Her surprised expression, for Marsha, could not be replaced by anything. It's a good thing he couldn't hold back his laughter, and otherwise he would have made Leo even angrier. With a small sigh, Marsha finally put back the glass in hand and looked at the man seriously.
"So, what's your next step? If you already know, Hendramo is starting to get weird… why don't you stop him?” Hearing the name that he had been reluctant to mention earlier made Leo scratch his head, feeling irritated again. Curious, Marsha looked at Leo with curious eyes. What else does he have now? Why is he just silent?
“He's useless,” Leo finally said. He himself took a sip of his coffee before letting out a long sigh, like there was so much weight placed on his shoulders. In fact, all the problems that exist he brought himself. The chaos that exists now is because of him. If he wasn't like this, then he himself wouldn't be in trouble.
“You mean it's useless? You're not going to use him again as your pawn?” Surprised, Marsha banged on the table, managed to make Leo jump. His expression quickly changed, showing an even more irritated expression because he had been shocked. “Sorry,” Marsha muttered, uncharacteristically.
Leo just nodded his head before leaning back on the couch he was sitting on, his eyes looking up at the ceiling and there was no particular position he was looking at. “I have more ways to get Aini, if I can beat Hendramo that would be great, right? All that's left is to say that he cheated the company and… boom! There's nothing wrong with what he wants, right? So if he and Dave have something to do, I won't be caught.”
“You're crazy too,” Marsha said, shaking his head. He also gave a slow clap, like he really wanted to appreciate Leo's way of thinking. “I thought I was the worst, it turns out that the level of your actions is already inhumane.”
“At this point, there is nothing. Then, why are you dealing with Salsa? What do you want Aini to do with her best friend?”
Leo, who had been curious from the start but was too proud to ask, finally found the momentum where he could ask his question without looking so desperate. Marsha, of course she was aware of Leo's actions, gave a small grin that grew. After a while, that grin looked so terrible that Leo felt that something was wrong with Marsha. Instead of answering, the woman just gave that smile.
Satisfied with scaring Leo, Marsha exhaled softly and tapped her fingers on the table. The change was so drastic and sudden that Leo frowned and at the same time raised his eyebrows. If he feels that he is already difficult to understand, now he knows there are people who are even more difficult. Of course, it was Marsha, her way of thinking and the way she got what she wanted, it all felt so strange. Does he actually have multiple personalities? That's why he looks so weird?
“I just want to scare Salsa. But, I also don't have a problem if Lia can get into an accident.” The last words were emphasized by Marsha, as she raised an eyebrow at Leo, like someone who wanted to say something. Of course, Leo also understood, even if it wasn't explained, Leo would indeed do it. Hence, he averted his eyes. “If Lia isn't by Aini's side, she gets bored quickly, right? You can be the one who always accompanies him.”
“What if I don't want to?” Marsha was shocked to the point of gawking. Both her eyes and lips form a perfect o. Marsha really didn't expect to hear that from Leo, even though he himself had vowed to get Aini by any means. “Why?”
"No, just surprised. I think you will do anything to be with Aini, to get her heart again. Or is that what you said at the time?” After Marsha gave a grin, now it was Leo who did it. He gave a smile that looked more like an evil grin that had bad intentions. “W-what, are you thinking? Don't be crazy, okay?”
“Crazy? It's not like we've been crazy for a long time, huh? Isn't what we are also doing considered crazy? Marsha just swallowed her saliva, feeling surprised and also annoyed at Leo. Though normally, she wasn't affected by the man, but this time she was already affected and failed to take care of herself. A chuckle escaped Leo before he stretched his muscles. “Well, if you want to get something, of course you have to work, right? Because of that… I also have to start work.”
“What are you preparing? It's not an illegal act that can land you in jail, right? If something like that happens, I don't know you!”
“Hmm, how are you? But, my hatred for everything is too big not to do something like that. You're the one who said it was an accident.” A sweet smile appeared on Leo's lips when he woke up, making Marsha gasp. What did Leo just say? What did he just hear? Is he really going to do strange things to get Aini? Was that woman really worth that much that she would do things like this?
“Lo … since when did it change like this?”
Leo raised one eyebrow, still smiling sweetly. “When is it? Try not to guess. Who knows, you might get a gift from me. I'm busy, if you want to find someone to chat with, don't be with me. I don't have much spare time to talk pretty like you.”
