Chapter 112. The Sudden Attack.

During lunch, Aini received a call from Lia who said that that day she would not be able to come to pick her up, her work suddenly piled up. Because of that, he apologized to Aini continuously, saying that Aini should not go out with other people. Initially, Lia also offered to order Arjuna to take Aini home, remembering that Arjuna had the right as a supervising lecturer. However, not wanting to bother other people, Aini ended up rejecting the offer.
Because of her refusal, now Aini can only look out when the clock is almost showing time to go home. He was debating with himself whether he should go to Lia or not. Actually, Aini herself realized something that her best friend was not at all calm when she left the house. There must be something he is trying to hide from Aini to the point of lying about many things. Knowing that thinking about it would not help her, Aini chose to start tidying up her things.
“Are you going home already?” Dave's distinctive voice startled Aini, he jumped from his chair and looked around, trying to make sure that around him there was no one besides them. Aini's actions made Dave lower his head. “I'm sorry, I shouldn't… ah, no, no. Rather than that, Leo will pick you up again?”
This time, Aini shook her head with a small smile. “Today I will go home alone.” As soon as the words came out, Aini could see Dave's look, as if he wanted to say he wanted to accompany him. “I'm also ready to order a motorcycle taxi online.” Aini hurriedly held her cell phone as proof.
“All right then. Be careful on the way.” Of course, Dave himself had no reason to talk to Aini, so he nodded his head once before leaving Aini.
“Fortunately I didn't ask too many questions,” muttered Aini who immediately checked her cell phone. At the same time, he felt lucky that no one from his family was looking for him or Leo was trying to reach him. “Now, just find a driver.”
It didn't take long for Aini to find a driver. He gave a big smile and immediately got ready to go home, saying goodbye to the workers who had to do overtime that very day. When we were downstairs, luckily the driver had arrived, making Aini feel more relieved. He didn't know what to do if he had to wait back. It could be that the person who followed him yesterday had come again and threatened him. Such a possibility made Aini shiver again.
“With Ms. Aini?” The driver's voice startled Aini, she blinked a few times before nodding and answering. “It's according to the application, yes, Ms. Can you put on the helmet first?”
“Thanks,” said Aini who did as the driver wanted. Once everything was confirmed to be safe, finally Aini started to leave for Lia's house. During the trip, Aini felt very calm, maybe because she knew and realized that being with the motorcycle taxi would not get her into trouble. He also informed Lia that he had left, was on his way, and would buy some materials on his way home. Because she was afraid that she would fall, Aini immediately put her cellphone in when she finished sending the message.
“Want to get off here, Ma'am?” The motorcycle taxi driver looked back to stare at Aini, his eyes then shifted towards the shop Aini was going to, not too far from Lia's house. Seeing that it had arrived, and the motorbike had stopped, Aini finally got off.
"Yes, that's right. Here, please. This is for an additional fee, yes.”
“Thank you very much, Ma'am.” The driver accepted the money given by Aini before finally leaving, leaving the woman alone. Perhaps because he came home early, the sky that accompanied Aini was not dark at all. He could still see the sun slowly starting to rest itself. With a big smile, Aini entered the shop to buy the necessities that she had written down.
At first, everything went smoothly. Aini didn't even suspect anything when she was shopping, until she finally felt like someone was following her again. Aini's frown appeared, and she pretended to call someone, but of course, she didn't call anyone. His heart was also beating very fast because he was worried. He didn't know what to do at all. That person must eventually know that Aini is only pretending. Even so, this was the only way he had.
As expected by Aini, the man only at first immediately acted like nothing was wrong. However, after a while, he soon returned to following Aini's movements. It felt like he wanted to scream for help, unfortunately the place he was in was clearly even quieter. Many people are still not home. The fear inside Aini only grew to the point where her chest felt tight. Finally, Aini pretended to turn off the phone and sent an emergency message to Lia.
“Anything extra?” When Aini had gone to the cashier, she glanced at the person who was following her, found the person paying attention to the food that was ready to be eaten. “Is there a problem, sis?”
“T-that….” Aini really do not know where to start. He wanted him to tell the truth to the cashier, but what proof did he have? Even if he could ask for her help, wouldn't the cashier who looks like a high school student also in danger? What's more, she's a woman. “No, this alone is enough.”
“The total is all, yes, and paid in cash. Here's the change.” As soon as the change was handed over, Aini knew very well that she could no longer run away. Hence, she decided to smile sweetly before heading out, hoping that it would not be as quiet outside as inside the shop.
But unfortunately, Aini's luck was not good at all. The sky, which at first still looked bright, was now completely dark, dim lighting became Aini's friend when she walked back to the house. His accelerated footsteps could hear someone trying to follow him from behind. When Aini checked her cell phone, she still didn't see a reply from Lia, indicating that her best friend still had some business to do. A sigh escaped Aini's lips, so she finally tried to run.
His actions actually made him in a more squeezed state. Trying to escape as much as possible, Aini didn't pay attention to the road where she passed. Now he was at a dead end with the person following right behind him. With trembling hands, Aini turned around, looking at the person who had followed her earlier. Unlike yesterday, this time the person looked taller.
"Who are you? What do you want with me?!” shouted Aini, though it was unlikely that she thought there would be a chance she could get help from the people out there, hearing her screams and screams.
“Don't be a tiger and just follow the flow of the game. We do this quickly, so it won't hurt at all.” At first, Aini was scared and thought that her life would end right now, but her mind stopped when she heard our words.
“W-what does that mean… you… n-no. Then you and the person from yesterday…?” A low chuckle escaped the man before he nodded.
“True, we are two different people, but we will still have one goal.” Aini could hear a faint voice from behind her, knowing that her life was at its limit.
