Chapter 119. War

The wrinkles on Arjuna's forehead seemed to be his trademark. The troubles he experienced seemed to have no end, to the point that he thought that he had been born with a fate full of bad luck. In his chaotic thinking, Arjuna finally took a deep breath. He could see Lia who had read his message, but he still couldn't see her reply even though it had been several minutes. How could Arjuna not be worried when it was like this?
Still thinking about the possibilities, Arjuna tapped his forehead, trying to think quickly and also make a rational decision. At a time like this, how could he make a rash decision? He could fall into the abyss if the wrong choice. Because he didn't know what to do anymore, Arjun finally chose to contact Sean, hoping that his best friend could help him. He also didn't forget to send messages to Dave that the person didn't read at all.
“I have to meet Lia.” The tone given by Arjuna this time showed his dominance, as if he wanted to say that, he would create a path in his life. After putting on his coat, Arjuna finally went out of his room, greeted many people who were there before getting into his car. “Shouldn't be far from here, right? If you go by car, it's only ten minutes.”
“Wow!” Sean's voice startled Arjuna, making the boy jump in the car. He who was checking the address immediately looked up to find Sean already there. How could that person be so fast?
“How come you are here?” Sean shook his head before encouraging Arjuna to get back into his car, and he sat in the passenger seat. “Why? Why?”
“You said that two girls could be in danger, right? Yes, hurry, you can say it on the way!” Sean's firm words seemed to make Arjuna aware. His mind that was originally clouded with fear and doubt seemed to have just been cleared, and he could think clearly now. Arjuna gave a resounding nod and started his car.
“So you came here rushing?”
“By chance, I'm going to meet you again. When I was going to your office, I happened to see you run to your car, so I chased it.” Arjuna, who heard this, just, blinked his eyes without saying anything. “Well, instead of that, why did Lia and Salsa get in trouble?”
“Lia said that this was Marsha's doing, she wanted to do something to Salsa, so she couldn't stay silent. He also gave a threat that if Aini helped him, he would make Leo … do bad things to Aini.”
Sean shook his head, hearing Arjuna's story. He didn't understand the problem at all. Everyone seemed to have lost their minds, doing incomprehensible things to gain something called personal satisfaction. Especially Leos. Does he have a good reason to get Aini? Even though it was clear he had disappointed her, wasted her and used her first. Why is he now acting like a hero? Sean simply couldn't fathom this issue no matter how hard he thought.
However, without Sean realizing it, Arjuna actually couldn't understand Leo's motives either, why he was actually doing all of this. However, for Aini, who has the status of her cousin, she will not allow that woman to be hurt arbitrarily, especially when she still has the strength and opportunity to help her. On that trip, the two men who were there could only be silent, they both felt the tension in the atmosphere which continued to increase as time went by. The estimated ten minutes until it was cut short by the speeding Arjuna and arrived two minutes early.
“This is the place?” Sean screamed as he came out, trying to drown out the crowds on the street.
“He said yes!” said Arjuna, who also shouted together. He already looked around to find the name of the shop written by Lia.
“Jun, isn't that one? If I'm not mistaken, it's a club place.” Arjuna, who heard the word, rolled his eyes. He did know that Lia had drunk alcohol, moreover he had also done it with Lia. However, to see him in person like this, it was obvious that Arjuna was getting worried. He immediately pushed into the room. Anything can happen when he wastes time. “Jun, wait a minute!”
“I don't have time, Lia will be in trouble when we all shut up now!”
“You don't need to worry, really.” Marsha, who was in the darkness, suddenly, appeared himself. He seemed to smile at Arjuna and also Sean. For a few moments, Arjuna was stunned, he had been caught by Marsha, would this be a problem? “Before you go inside and save Lia, who I'm sure is unconscious, I will give you a chance.”
"Chance? You are crazy? Step aside! I have business with Lia!” Despite trying to pass Marsha, suddenly two guards pushed Arjuna backwards, causing him to crash into Sean, who was speechless.
“Don't be rude, man. I'm fine here.” Marsha spoke in a very calm tone, in contrast to Arjuna, who was already carried away by emotion. Knowing that he would not be able to enter, finally Arjuna waited for Marsha, who took out his cell phone. He spent a few moments typing something on his phone before showing Arjuna the screen. "You must know who this is, right? Do you think… if this girl were to suddenly be on the street, would she be able to survive or not?”
“Aine…?” stammered Arjuna. Sean, who heard the name mentioned, took a peek. Although it wasn't clear, he felt sure that it was Aini, standing by the roadside. Before Arjuna could take Marsha's cell phone, the woman had pulled it, so he couldn't see her anymore.
"How? I'm certain if you leave now, you will be able to save Aini, but if for example you enter now, Aini will not be the one who will save you. Will you choose to save Lia… or Aini?”
“No, you must be playing with me again!” Arjuna, who could not accept this, tried to go back in, but again he was pushed by the two guards. Marsha, who saw Arjuna's efforts, shook her head while chuckling. He also made the sound of a clock ticking constantly.
"You don't have much time, do you? Who knows what happened inside Lia already?”
Sean, who saw and listened to this, couldn't stand it anymore. He immediately pulled his best friend to get up and screamed loudly. “Jun, you have to be realistic! You're already here, do you want to step back? I know that if I try to save Lia, that girl will never let her.”
“Smart too,” commented Marsha, who smiled sweetly.
“Do you want to let Lia get traumatized?” Hearing Sean's last words was like opening Arjuna's eyes. He who was now aware of the situation finally nodded in understanding. The expression on his face actually looked so sad, like he had no other choice.
“I'm going in. I'll save Lia,” Arjuna muttered, which Marsha and Sean could hear. “Sean, send a message to Dave, let him know that Aini could be in danger.”
“Wise choice.” exclaimed Marsha, who then made way for Arjuna. “Hopefully you will never regret your choice now, okay?”
