Look at the fool ranting, you will never get away with this.". She mimicked. Six weeks after, Janet returned to inform Bayo that she was pregnant for him. "No, it can't be, because it was only once we met. Better go and meet the men who have been squeezing your apples and dumping their gabbage into you. You dirty smelling latrine." Bayo exclaimed, insulting her. She chuckled and started to clap for him as they stayed under one of the big cassia trees. She later raised her head up properly and nodded, before talking, eyeing him up and down. "Look at a foolish brother, who squeezed every goodness in me that day. When you were hitting me hard, and making me scream, were you not enjoying it? How many rounds of pleasure that day? Can you imagine, you that was telling me that you've never had any lady touched you the way I did. Hmmm, liar, hypocrite of the year. Better be ready for another child!" Janet hissed and went away. Bayo held his head and growled ferociously. His eyes furrowed in anger. How could I have descended so low as to go into this stinking toilet of a lady. Shameless in every way. Look at her! Who veiled my eyes? In beauty, she is nowhere to be found beside my Anu, in shape, gosh, she is disgusting. No dress sense at all! May God forgive me now! That was all his thoughts as he stood there unable to move an inch for a long time before finally heading home. All these because he refused to discipline his flesh, indulging in stupid drink. Bayo vowed not to drink alcohol again, and he succeeded but Janet started to threaten him to continue sleeping with him. Bayo went to Church and laid on the altar, crying before God. "Kill me now, God! I'm tired of my life." Suddenly, he saw himself in a glorious white dress, and rejoicing with other saints. The vision cut off and he stretched out himself on the altar and was no longer sad. "He opened his phone and discovered that someone sent a message to him, Dear brother Bayo, the Holy Spirit said while I was praying for you and sister Anu: Tell him to be strong and courageous. Do not fear but move forward in me. I have accepted your person. Your sins are forgiven." Bayo was encouraged and he vowed never to yield to Janet's seduction but to resist her blackmail. He will use the power of confession to thwart the plan of the devil. The Sunday service was powerful, where Pastor Joseph talked about, 'The Power of Confession.' These scriptures came alive to him as he quoted several scriptures, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us all our unrighteousness." "Confess your faults one to another, that you might be healed…" Bayo sent for Anu to come to Modakeke in one of the weekends. She responded fast by coming over. She felt it would help her to bond more with Bayo. Though it was a tough one, but he needed to confess his sins to Anu. He opened up to her and told her everything that transpired between her and Janet. "Ha, not again!" She screamed out, pacing up and down, grinding her teeth in anger. No wonder, the Lord warned me against giving place for the devil. She broke out eventually and wept bitterly as Bayo went to hold her in his embrace. She poured out her bitter heart, resting her head on his shoulder. "It's okay, we will both fight this agent of darkness,my husband. It's no longer your battle but our battle. We have to be praying together online everyday. No more place for the devil. As for the pregnancy, the Lord will intervene. Sister Janet saw Anu in the Church and she came over to greet her. "Wow, sister Anu! Welcome back to Modakeke. Hmmm, a lot had happened, you know?" She said watching her moves,to know if she will react negatively. But she was surprised that her face was somehow cool and calm. "You are damn right my sister, a lot indeed has occurred, like you going to seduce my husband to sleep with you. Blackmailing him to continue to sin with you. Hmmm, the devil has already lost it. I learnt that you are carrying his baby or isn't it so?" Anu was fully stabilized and in control maintaining a strong eye contact with her. She lowered her face and became nervous, using her legs and hands to play, nothing in particular. "Em- em and you know that it wasn't like that. Brother Bayo was the one who caused it. I- I am sorry. I didn't know that you know already." "For your information, he told me before going to your house. I gave him permission. I blamed myself and not my husband. So the baby in your womb is mine. Go and deliver it, I will take full responsibility." "Ha ha, no way. He must marry me." Janet suddenly declared and changed her face. "Oh, I did not know that you are desperate for husband. No problem my sister. I will help you talk to him but before then, we will all go to the pastor to confess our sins." Anu uttered with a smirk on her face. "Pastor? Ha, no way. I'm okay please. Don't worry yourself any longer." She quickly uttered trying to go away. "Not so fast, how about your pregnancy?" "Please leave me alone, I am not pregnant. I only used it as a bait to get him." "What! Hmm. Thank God." Bayo cried out, raising his hands to worship God for saving him again.
