Alan was sitting on a stool at a kiosk on some beach, he couldn't remember what it was called. The waiter handed him the coconut water he had ordered earlier, he picked it up from the counter and took a sip. He observed the movement of people around him, he really didn't understand what people saw on a piece of sand with the sea against it. Who would want to stay out in the sun, burning, and most absurdly, getting into salty water full of sand. He was really sick of the beach, and didn't understand people's fascination with beaches in general. - Are you all right?" The attendant, who didn't even bother to find out his name, asked worriedly. - I'm fine. I just didn't want to be here. - Then why did you come? - I had to - Alan didn't want to give any more information. He didn't want a stranger to know that he had been abandoned yet again. Okay, the first time he threw his ex out of the house, if that counts as abandonment. Alan felt an overwhelming urge to cry, but he didn't want to show weakness to this man, and what a man. He was broad-shouldered, his hair was as black as the universe, and his eyes were an amber shade I had never seen in such an intense gaze. Alan was literally mesmerized by the male specimen he had found there. He felt turned on by him, but knew that it would only be a one-night stand, so he decided to pay attention to the television, which was showing a report on the reappearance of a multimillionaire from Besteming who had disappeared two months previously and had been presumed dead by his uncles. But in fact, it was his uncles, Paulo Carvalho and Cesar Ximenes, who had ordered his nephew to be killed so that they could keep the entire family empire. If it hadn't been in the newspaper, Alan would certainly have thought it was nothing more than a well-told fanfic. It intrigued him, the story that was being told really did seem familiar. When the multi-millionaire appeared for an interview, the teacher almost fell off his stool, he wanted to shout, swear and everything else he was entitled to, but his voice wouldn't come out, he was in shock, he didn't know what to do, let alone how to act. The man who was giving an interview on TV was Benjamin, his Benjamin, the man who was lost in some square, on the street. No, it wasn't happening to him. He had fallen in love with a multi-millionaire who was now giving an interview to a television station in another country. he really was going mad. At that moment he decided that he wouldn't stay in Brazil for another day, he needed to go home, he needed to lie down on his bed and get his head together. He got up in a hurry, he wasn't going to stay there for another minute. Everything had already been resolved, yes Alan acted on impulse, but who had never acted like that? - But you're going to listen to me - he said, trying to grab Alan's arms, but luckily he managed to dodge - You look like the face of wealth. - But I'm the face of wealth, unlike some people who seem to be the king of the year, but who are actually the king of dung. - Alan says sarcastically. - Look how you talk to me - he threatens, holding Alan's arms tightly and brutally. - Let me go! Bloody hell! - Alan shouts. - I'll teach you to obey me. - the bastard says with anger in his voice. - All right, Cauã. I'll do what you want, just let me go. - Alan asks him in a calm, quiet voice, not even sounding like the same person he was seconds ago. You must be wondering what happened to make him act like that? Easy, the teacher saw behind Cauã that Benjamin had just arrived. - I won't let you go until you marry me again. When he heard this statement, Alan's stomach churned; he really had become disgusted with his ex-husband. Just the thought of being Cauã's husband made him feel sick, imagine being his husband. Now that he had finally overcome his addiction, this had to happen. He squeezed Alan's arm again, which made the anger Benjamin was feeling grow ex-ponentially, making him grit his teeth in disapproval. He no longer had the strength to answer him, to go against him. Alan started to open his mouth to agree with the absurdity that had just happened to him, when Benjamin couldn't take it any longer. - He's getting married, but not to you. When he was interrupted, Alan felt butterflies in his stomach, his heart racing with happiness at having heard such a request, or should I say "order". Cauã is startled by the unfamiliar voice. He turns around to see a tall, athletic man, rich from the clothes he was wearing. - I see my love has found a male to replace me. Cauã spits with derision. - I think I'd better let him go. - B. said, trying to calm down the madman who was grabbing his fiancé, which seemed to be to no avail. - And what does the little son of a bitch think he can do? - Nothing. Cauã laughs like the madman he is. - He's just come to play at being in charge, isn't he? - Cauã mocks Benjamin's face. - But he can break your face for all I care. - As soon as B. closes his mouth, a two-meter tall, pure musician appears behind his back, making Cauã shiver. - Is there a problem, Mr. Belmont? - Ah! Now I understand everything. - The bastard says it like he's found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. - He's giving his ass to a rich guy, I thought you'd be less clever, love. - He's not your love - B. growls. - Get that manure out of here. B.'s security guard pulls out an angry Cauã, who was wailing like a small child, screaming at the top of his lungs that things wouldn't stay that way. He had been taken to the police station and an O.R. had been opened on charges of importation, kidnapping and domestic violence. He had been arrested for prevention. Epilogue Fate And that's a little bit of Alan and Benjamin's story, but before we conclude I want to tell you that Alan was proposed to again, weeks later, but that happens in the next book in the Destiny Series...
