CHAPTER NINE

Realm of Valiré
Liberi de Valixiur, Domini Alvenrass, Domini Inferni. Dominus omnium. Natum vivere, natum regere et mundum accipere.
"Lord Val." sync utterances in pleasantry.
Kneeling upon, honoring their creator. The fire began arising from the gigantic sconce, and the ground shook. Sitting in a reclined position on his throne carved from skulls and bones, biting nails with his sharp teeth, pale porcelain skin and raven sclera; red iris, and a black dilating pupil.
"My children," he muttered, arching his lip.
Softly sighs.
"Your actions have spoken."
"We're sorry Lord Val..."
"Silence!" growled in wrath, the voice was heard all over the hall.
Children remained kneeled with heads down; hushed. Then abruptly, his growl turned to chuckle.
"Yes, that's it, my children. All you need to do is to obey...so that the rest will do," he utters every word he emits with conviction.
Deeply sighed. Snap a finger, unawares, numerous invisible slashes came forward in their direction, cutting their flesh apart, and blood splattered on the ground. Then another snap rapidly regenerates back to their form. They were aghast, eyes and mouths wide open, dazed, and trembling.
"See that? A snap of my finger can end you, my children..."
"...But one thing I believe that could not end you all was that Sorcerer."
"... how come one of my children, almost lost against him?..."
"Are you that weak?" he muttered, questioning his children.
Hushed. The children were speechless. Lord Val stood from his throne. Caressed his nape with its long sharp nails. Then started laughing, sarcasm.
He stopped and then growled.
"Answer me!"
Children were shocked and trembled. They all responded in sync.
"No, Lord Val! —"
"Then, where is he?" He uttered calmly.
"Why didn't you able to bring that sorcerer's head to me, huh?..."
"You all are not weak, right?"
Turned around back to his throne, seated.
"PATHETIC!" Emphasized the word.
...
After that silence, he points a finger at one of his children. Then unaware of it, floated. Manipulating its motion by Lord Val. Ruling one of his children to rise by the use of his point. The child was quivering.
"You, child. Speak." in the calmness of his tone.
The child was trembling, stuttering.
"L-Lord...V-Val...I... —"
Then a whooshing sound arose. The child was stunned, barely breathing.
"Speak!"
He was throttled by Lord Val, and the immense swiftness that the Lord has was impeccable. From posing on the throne, moment by, he was in front of the child, choking it. Strangling it to death on its own.
Then, a child stood up, beside the throttled. Lord Val tilts his head to the other one.
"You're suffocating him, Lord Val," he uttered gently with heads down.
Lord Val, smiled. Putting down his struggling child. Forwards him with both hands on the rear.
"Oh, my second oldest child!" He uttered gaily.
"Lord Val,"
"My favorite child."
The Second Child raised his chin and took his gaze at Lord Val.
"Speak."
"Sorry to burst your bubble. But, we, your children have surpassed our limits against that Sorcerer, yet, we weren't able to defeat him. Even if there are five of us battling him."
"So, you're telling me —"
"Yes, we're not yet powerful enough to level the Sorcerer. We're not weak, yet, we're not that strong."
Then Lord Val suddenly vanished. Slowly, he appeared posing on its throne. Leaning his arm on the throne, he bites his nails. Gazing at his second child.
"Hmmm. So, you need more power to be able to defeat that Sorcerer, right?"
The Second Child remained in his stance while others kneeled.
"Then kill people. Suck their blood, Eat their flesh, and you will gain enough power. The more people killed, the more power you'll earn." Lord Val uttered, in conviction.
"You may rise," he commanded.
His children rise from kneeling.
"Go. Kill as much as you desire. Once, you're strong enough, give me the Sorcerer's head. Don't come back, unless you bring it to me. —"
"— and after that, we will start ruling the Alvenrass. This world was ours and we're going to take it back." He emitted in dominance.
"As we will, Lord Val," his children uttered in sync.
They turned as they about walked out of the throne hall of Lord Val. But, the Lord has noticed something, so he makes them by just raising his palm.
"Wait, I didn't notice it earlier..." he said, controlling the motion of his children and making him face him by the motion of his palm.
"Where's the other two of my children?"
"We didn't know where they were, Lord Val. But I do think that your other child went to the Realm of Pure Bloods." the Second Child responded.
Lord Val, silently gasped.
"All by himself?"
They nodded.
"What a gut. The three of you, go to the realm of pure-bloods and look for him. " Lord Val commanded.
They nodded.
"The other two, find my oldest child. He seems enjoying himself, alone. Find him, right now!" Lord Val added.
As soon as they flee from the hall. The fire in the gigantic sconce faded away, and the chamber was in pitch darkness.
...
"Val. You should be the one who will behead the Sorcerer. Not your children..."
"... Weakness had depicted. You are dreaded to death. Go back to hell, your paradise, you don't deserve Alvenrass. You can't rule this world. My line should not dwell on this world. Go back to the underworld..."
"...That Sorcerer, you're no match for him. He could easily overpower you."
The devil laughs.
"No. This will be my world. Everything is planned under my will. I'm too powerful for this world and no one could ever overthrow me. No one. "
"Omu Magre, Emmidi, Corpiones, Louison, ... "
"Those children of mine were strong enough to match that Sorcerer..."
"and my three oldest children, they can overpower that Sorcerer. I know to myself that they can."
"...They will or else..."
...
At the realm of pure-bloods.
"Now what, He lost a battle against a sorcerer. How pity! He just showed us why he doesn't belong to us. The ever-wicked seven demons of the Valiré."
Uttered in dismayed by the lady who was in bob hair. Sitting on the log at the mountaintop plateau.
"Stop it!" emitted by the one standing near the cliff viewing the landscape of Haiyan.
"Why?" she said, questioning the thoughts of the other.
"We're going to take him back!"
"You sure about that?" the other man emitted, leaning on the tree.
"I'm going to save my brother from them."
His two other partners walked forward to him at the edge of the cliff.
"Hmph! You can't do it alone." the lady spoke.
Then, a guy taps his shoulder.
"She's right, brother! We're going to take him back..."
"but not now," the guy added.
He agreed and nodded. He then softly sighed and turned around.
"You're right. Let's go back to Valiré and tell Lord Val about this. This realm will get what they deserve..."
"...Taking away my brother is an immoral move for them..."
"... and that sorcerer, time will come, we will be able to beat his ass off! kill and bring his head to Lord Val..."
"... we will reign," he uttered in solemn.
"we will brother, no wonder why you're close enough to level the oldest one. you're good!" the lady said.
They left the place and flew back to Valiré to notify the Lord.
...
Somewhere in a faraway land.
"As usual, dito ka namin makikita! hihihi!" utterly giggled by a young girl.
"Pinaghahanap ka ni Lord Val." said the skinny bald man with tattoos all over his body.
He was sitting on one of the rocks viewing the sunset over the ocean. The sound of tides welcoming the shore and the dandelion rays of the sun caress as it is about to set down the ocean to welcome the night as the moon will rise, a moment of dusk. He turned his gaze with his deep blue iris in a black sclera catching a glimpse of his comrades that awaited him to get on back at Valiré.
"Why?" He shortly said then turned back his gaze to the wide ocean.
"We need to be back at Valiré with that sorcerer's head," the skinny man emitted.
"We'll go there, sooner. We don't need to rush things up. We need more blood and flesh to acquire immense power, and in that, we are capable of beheading that Sorcerer, slowly and smoothly," he uttered in his deep and calm tone.
" — and then, we can take over the world, the Alvenrass, ..."
"no elves, no dwarves, sea entities, humans; pure and half, only us..."
"...that sorcerer will have his downfall."
Uttering those words shivers his siblings who await him.
"Wow! That was a speech! Brother," Skinny Man said.
"No wonder you're the strongest among us children of Lord Val," he added.
He rises from being seated on the rock, jumps off, and walks forward with them.
"Let's go back to Valiré," he said.
...
At the Valiré Palace
"What? He lost a battle against that Sorcerer?" Lord Val emitted. Mistrusted the information he received coming from his children.
Silenced in the chamber. The Lord Val tried to synopsize what he heard.
"So, the battle..."
"... was it closed? does he almost defeat the sorcerer?" Lord Val asked. Followed by his chuckle.
His children were stunned as they didn't expect Lord Val's utterances.
"We don't have any idea, Lord Val. The moment we arrived at the Haiyan, he was on the ground and then suddenly, something engulfed him..."
"the energy was potent... the reason why we didn't get close enough to save him..."
"or else, we will be pulled by that strong gravitation..."
"Hmmm, interesting! That was the sorcerer's one full-blown power..."
Lord Val emitted.
"You did the right thing by not saving him. But, I want to know what happened next?"
"... After he was pulled by that energy, a small blue crystal-like stone emerged, it was on the sorcerer's hand. Then, he gave it to an old man. I don't know who he is but we're sure that it's an old man and we have seen his face, Lord Val."
The second child explained.
"Oh! So, that stone is where my child is, he was in there. He was caged in there. It means that he barely defeated my child, he has gotten weaker now," Lord Val uttered in delight.
"Well, we have a chance. Now, —"
Lord Val stood up from his throne and slowly stepped down the stairs.
"We have a new mission ahead..."
"Before we take down the Sorcerer...First, ..."
"Find the old man with a blue stone, kill him, suck his blood, or behead him. Take the stone, break it, and save my child, your brother..."
He uttered in conviction. Walking back and forth in front of his child.
"...As soon as we take him back, we will find the sorcerer and kill him, we will behead him..."
Then he halted.
"... Then, Alvenrass will be ours. No heroes in this world, Only —"
"— Lord Val!"
The Second Child cut him off. Turned his gaze to his child.
"Yes? What is it, my child?"
"We still have a problem."
The second child uttered, then turned his gaze to his other siblings who accompanied him. The amusement on Lord Val's face turns into seriousness.
"A prophecy."
"What?" Lord Val emitted.
"After that battle with your third child and creating a stone prison for him, probably, the sorcerer has been weakened. But, with the last of its power, he uttered a prophecy..."
Everyone was all ears on him, even Lord Val.
"Thirteen offspring will possess his power. When time goes by, the moment they are born, they will become heroes that will protect the realm from us, ...the Alvenrass against us,"
Later, Lord Val deeply sighed, vanished in front of his children, and reappeared sitting on his throne.
"That Sorcerer has got something up his sleeves. He's working smart. He may be weakened, but the prophecy he created will be a threat to us..." Lord Val emitted. Biting his nails and then smiled.
"Now, we have another mission to be added. First, find the old man with the blue stone and save my child, After that, we will find that thirteen offspring and kill them one by one before they got first on us, and finally, search for that sorcerer and behead him..."
"Understood!" Lord Val, commanded.
"Yes, Lord Val," everyone reacted in sync.
"Simply, kill them all..."
"Divide and Conquer!"
"Now, leave!" Lord Val emitted.
Then everyone leaves the hall, right away.
"That Sorcerer!"
"Now, the real battle has begun, Valixiur!"
"Shut up!"
"Let's see what you've got! The sorcerer's descendants and your children will be on the verge of their battle. Which I supposed to be only just you and that sorcerer."
Century years ago.
"I will win."
"If you beat me, then you'll win."
"Easy,"
Ground shakes.
"What's that?
"I don't know. Maybe, an earthquake."
"It's not an earthquake"
The ground cracks and he falls. Luckily, it grabbed something.
"Wahhhhh! Help me!"
Screaming for help, sobbing. Someone peeked and attempted to pull him up.
"Hold my hand!"
The ground continues to tremble. Hands slowly gliding.
"I can't take it any longer."
...
- END.
