Chapter 22 End
After I discovered so many oddities, at the same time I felt uncomfortable with all of this. At first I just thought maybe they were hiding something and it turned out to be true. As soon as I saw the hidden fact, my eyes immediately filled with tears. The bitter reality that I saw was very cruel. Two hours ago, the two of us started exploring this place and sneaking from room to room without being noticed. I felt something strange. After I checked it turned out it was true. I discovered one very surprising thing. When I saw everything, it turned out that the nurse had deliberately given us medicine. At that time, I immediately told Ella and it turned out that this child also agreed with my opinion. We are increasingly convinced that something is wrong here. I quickly moved and when I arrived in a dark room, I walked slowly with Ella behind me. Now I started to get nervous and not long after that I arrived at a secret room that looked like a laboratory. In shock, we both immediately fell silent when we saw this appearance. I can't understand how it is possible that in the foundation room there is a large room like this. As time went on, I became more curious about why they made this place. My gut feeling again told me to stay alert. My eyes widened when I saw the complicated and dark medical equipment in the room. I couldn't hide my surprise when I realized that this foundation was involved in something much more complex. Ella and I looked at each other, trying to comprehend the meaning of this discovery. Our careful steps spanned the room, looking for clues that might explain the purpose of this secret laboratory. At that time, confusion and worry became more rampant within us. In the darkness of the laboratory, we found secret documents that revealed the illegal activities carried out by this foundation. There were illicit human experiments and data about misused patients. Dread struck our minds, and without realizing it, we heard footsteps approaching. Without much time to think, the two of us hid among the shelves filled with files. The sound of footsteps grew closer, and our breaths hissed in tension. Not long after, the door of the room opened slowly, and a figure in a white coat appeared in the doorway. We held our breath, hoping to go undetected. The nurse who turned out to be involved in this scheme stepped in quietly, seemingly unaware of our presence. They talked about their dark plans, and we both looked at each other with despair. Now, a daunting task awaits us: uncover this truth and face the consequences. Ella looked at me as if full of fear.
"Don't worry, it will definitely be fine. I'm sure of that," I said, trying to calm Ella.
"How could they do something crazy like this? What are we going to do?"
"Calm down. I'm still confused too. It's just that I feel that now we have to look for Liona's whereabouts."
"For what? What if we get caught?"
"Don't scream. We won't get caught. Come on."
"Damn. Even though I was really scared. They are crazy. Wait, why do the nurses have the heart to do something like this? What is their purpose?"
"I definitely don't know. We have to find out. Listen, stay alert. Don't get caught in the slightest."
"I know that. God, this is terrible."
The two of us continued to monitor their conversation carefully while looking for opportunities to get out of this situation without being noticed. Every word spoken makes their secret more revealed.
Ella brushed away the tears dripping from her eyes and determinedly said, "We have to get to the bottom of this, tell the authorities. They can't get away with this."
I nodded in agreement, although fear still enveloped me. "But we need to have strong enough evidence. And we need to get out of here without being noticed."
When the door to the room started to close, we found a gap to get out. My heart was racing, but the determination to bring the truth to the surface guided our every step. We sneak in again, this time carrying the greater burden of saving ourselves and uncovering the evil hidden behind the walls of this foundation. I can't believe they would commit such a crime. This time I intend to reveal all this. I couldn't remain silent seeing the terrible facts before my eyes. Ella was still full of fear and now just sat there. I also felt a little worried, so I also rested first and tried to chat with Ella. It feels like it almost disappeared from this world. The courage that used to exist within me slowly faded away. I admit that too.
"Now we will be finished," said Ella with shaking hands.
"No. We won't get caught."
"I wonder what's in that box? Could it be human organs?"
"What? Why do you think that?"
"I'm just guessing. Who knows if it's true. How do we bring evidence and report all this to the police?"
"I'm still thinking about how. Wait."
"Why do we have to wait? We have to report all this to them straight away. I don't want to be one of the victims and have their organs harvested."
"I said calm down. If you keep getting anxious like this, it'll be hard for me to think. Come on."
That night, we sat in a secluded room, planning our next steps. Ella looked at me with eyes full of trust, and I felt the responsibility to prove this truth growing.
"Together we can uncover this truth," said Ella with confidence.
We are cooperating with the authorities, presenting the evidence we find. The foundation was investigated, and the truth revealed shocked society. The victims who have been marginalized have received justice.
Court proceedings begin, and the perpetrators are faced with the consequences of their actions. Even though the journey was full of challenges, our courage brought light to the hidden darkness.
Ella and I are not only witnesses to the truth, but also pillars of justice for those who have no voice. On this journey, we found strength in friendship and determination to defend human rights.
And like every story that confronts darkness, this story teaches that courage and truth can always break through creeping shadows, bring hope to the marginalized, and change the world one step at a time.
"Now you are safe. So don't worry," said the police. Once everything was finished, I saw this place which now had a police line installed. They also arrested the nurse and others. Meanwhile, I still haven't seen Liona and when we asked, the police hadn't found Liona. The nightmare is now over.Download Novelah App
