Chapter 34 The Betrayal

Nel and Jamaica sat in their prison cells, unaware of Kevin's transformation. They were still trying to figure out how to escape and defeat Xylo.
"I'm worried about Kevin," Jamaica said. "I haven't seen him since we were captured."
"Me neither," Nel said. "I hope he's okay."
Suddenly, the door to Nel's cell opened.
Kevin stood there, transformed into his new form.
"Kevin?" Nel said. "What happened to you?"
"I am the great evil that the prophecy warned about," Kevin said. "And I am here to destroy you."
Nel and Jamaica looked at each other in shock. They couldn't believe that their friend had betrayed them.
"Why, Kevin?" Jamaica asked. "Why are you doing this?"
"Because I am tired of being a Celestial Guardian," Kevin said. "I am tired of being told what to do. I want to be free."
"But you're hurting people," Nel said. "You're going to destroy the universe."
"I don't care," Kevin said. "I only care about myself."
Kevin raised his hand and blasted Nel with a powerful energy beam.
Nel screamed in pain as the energy beam hit him. He was thrown across the cell and slammed into the wall.
Jamaica rushed to Nel's side.
"Nel!" she cried.
Nel looked up at Jamaica. "Don't worry about me," he said. "Get out of here."
"But I can't leave you," Jamaica said.
"You have to," Nel said. "You have to find a way to defeat Kevin."
Jamaica nodded. She knew that Nel was right. She had to find a way to stop Kevin, even if it meant leaving him behind.
Jamaica stood up and ran out of Nel's cell. She knew that she was in a race against time. She had to find a way to defeat Kevin before he destroyed the universe.
**Meanwhile, in Kevin's prison cell**
Kevin stood there, looking at the damage he had done. He had just blasted his own friend with a powerful energy beam.
Kevin felt a pang of regret. But then he quickly pushed it aside.
He had to do what he had to do to be free.
Kevin smiled. He was now the most powerful being in the universe. There was nothing that could stop him.
Kevin raised his arms and unleashed a blast of energy that destroyed his prison cell. He then flew out of the flagship and into space.
Kevin looked around at the universe. He was now the master of all.
Kevin laughed. He was finally free.
Jamaica ran through the corridors of Xylo's flagship, desperately searching for a way to escape. She knew that Kevin was coming for her, and she had to get out before he found her.
She turned a corner and saw a group of guards ahead. She quickly hid behind a crate.
The guards passed by, unaware of her presence.
Jamaica took a deep breath and continued on her way. She came to a door and opened it. Inside was a large room with a control panel in the center.
Jamaica recognized the control panel. It was the main control panel for the flagship.
She ran to the control panel and started pressing buttons. She wasn't sure what she was doing, but she knew that she had to disable the flagship somehow.
Suddenly, the door to the room opened and Kevin walked in.
"Jamaica," he said. "What are you doing?"
Jamaica didn't answer. She just kept pressing buttons on the control panel.
Kevin walked over to her and grabbed her arm.
"Jamaica, stop!" he said.
Jamaica turned to look at him. She had tears in her eyes.
"Why, Kevin?" she asked. "Why are you doing this?"
Kevin looked at her for a long moment. Then he said, "I'm doing it because I want to be free."
Jamaica shook her head. "But you're not free," she said. "You're a slave to your own power."
Kevin smiled. "I'm not afraid of my power," he said. "I'm embracing it."
Kevin raised his hand and blasted Jamaica with a powerful energy beam.
Jamaica screamed in pain as the energy beam hit her. She was thrown across the room and slammed into the wall.
Jamaica fell to the ground, unconscious.
Kevin walked over to the control panel and started pressing buttons. He was reactivating the flagship.
Kevin turned to look at Jamaica lying on the ground. He smiled.
"I'm sorry, Jamaica," he said. "But I can't let you stop me."
Kevin turned and walked out of the room.
He had betrayed his friends and his planet. He was now the enemy of the universe.
Jamaica woke up to the sound of alarms. She looked around and saw that the flagship was back in operation.
She stood up and ran to the control room. She had to stop Kevin before he could launch the flagship and begin his attack on the universe.
She burst into the control room and saw Kevin sitting at the control panel. He was smiling.
"You're awake," he said.
Jamaica glared at him. "I'm going to stop you, Kevin," she said.
Kevin laughed. "You can't stop me," he said. "I'm too powerful."
Jamaica raised her hand and blasted Kevin with a powerful energy beam.
Kevin didn't flinch. He simply raised his hand and blasted the energy beam back at Jamaica.
The two energy beams collided in the center of the control room, creating a massive explosion.
Jamaica was thrown back against the wall. She fell to the ground, injured but alive.
Kevin stood up and walked over to her. He looked down at her with contempt.
"You're pathetic," he said.
Jamaica looked up at him. "You may be powerful," she said. "But you're not invincible."
Kevin laughed. "I am invincible," he said.
Kevin raised his hand to deliver the final blow. But suddenly, he was interrupted by a voice.
"Kevin!"
Kevin turned to see Nel standing in the doorway. He was carrying a strange weapon in his hand.
"What is that?" Kevin asked.
"It's a weapon that I created to defeat you," Nel said.
Kevin laughed. "You can't defeat me," he said. "I'm too powerful."
"We'll see about that," Nel said.
Nel raised the weapon and fired it at Kevin. A beam of energy hit Kevin in the chest and knocked him back.
Kevin fell to the ground, injured.
Nel ran over to Jamaica and helped her to her feet.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
Jamaica nodded. "I'm fine," she said.
Nel looked at Kevin lying on the ground.
"It's over, Kevin," he said.
Kevin looked up at Nel. "It's not over," he said. "I'll be back."
Kevin closed his eyes and disappeared.
Nel looked around the control room. "Where did he go?" he asked.
Jamaica shook her head. "I don't know," she said. "But we need to get out of here before he comes back."
Nel nodded. He and Jamaica ran out of the control room and left the flagship.
They had defeated Kevin for now, but they knew that he would be back. They had to prepare for the next battle.
