Chapter 38

Three months later.
Time went by so fast that it didn't feel like it had been three months since Natalia had brought Axel food. So far, Axel seems indifferent to Natalia, who often brings him food.
"Isn't Axel aware that I like him?" Natalia asked herself. She hadn't seen Axel's response at all if Axel knew Natalia liked him.
Natalia chuckled while cooking food. "But you can't give up. I'm sure Axel will definitely like me," added Natalia, trying to please herself.
Natalia cooks leisurely, humming a little tune and singing a little. He always wakes up early to make Axel breakfast.
After finishing cooking, Natalia put the food into the box as usual. Now she brings quite a lot of food, maybe every day with a different menu so that Axel doesn't get bored. She also brought a plate of breakfast to the dining table, as usual, for her beloved father, who was waiting for the results of her cooking.
"Dad!" Natalia said, sitting in front of Mr. Jeff with a sullen face.
"What is it?" asked Mr. Jeff, seeing Natalia's sullen face.
"Don't Axel like me too? It's been 3, but Axel doesn't seem to have changed at all. Does he feel whether I like him or not?" said Natalia, her heart very uncertain.
For three months, there was no indication that the activities Natalia was carrying out would produce any results. It made Natalia afraid herself that her efforts would be in vain.
Mr. Jeff chuckled softly when he heard what Natalia said. "Aren't you confident that Axel will like you back? Why are you suddenly silent now?" asked Mr. Jeff in surprise. The first time, Natalia felt very happy because she was going to deliver food to Axel.
Natalia chuckled. "But it's taking too long, Dad!" she said.
Mr. Jeff nodded. "Yes, I know, this is a risk for you because you like people. But you can't force people to like you," replied Mr. Jeff, making Natalia just let out a small sigh.
"Are you going to give up?"
"No!" Natalia replied quickly, her eyes widening slightly perfectly at Mr. Jeff's question.
“I won't give up, Dad! I'm also sure that Axel already likes me!" Natalia added again, making Axel laugh a little at that.
"Well, if that is the case. Still like Axel, chase him. If he is your soul mate, he will come back to you." Natalia smiled. She kissed Mr. Jeff's forehead gently.
Her father, who always cared and understood Natalia's condition, returned to the kitchen to pack the food that would be given. Afraid that now she would have missed Axel's morning funeral time.
Natalia packed the food with a happy face. After finishing, Natalia looked at the packing results, which she did. "Well, maybe it will be prettier like this than yesterday," said Natalia.
Natalia put it in a small bag, then immediately walked towards Axel's house.
On the way, Natalia greets everyone she meets, so often, many people like Natalia because she is very polite and kind.
Without Natalia knowing, Axel was waiting at home for Natalia to arrive. He kept looking at the gate, but Natalia was not coming.
"Is it true that he hasn't arrived at this hour?" Axel asked, waiting for Natalia to always bring him food in the morning. But this time was different.
Axel deliberately waited for Natalia in front of the terrace. In fact, he had planned it for a long time, but he had only managed to carry it out. To wait for Natalia in front of his house.
Until Natalia arrived at Axel's house, she was no longer knocking on the door, but Axel was waiting for her on the front terrace of the house, sitting while playing on his cell phone.
"Is Axel sitting in front of the house?" Natalia thought she was hesitant to get closer to Axel.
Axel, who saw Natalia's presence, immediately put his cell phone away. “Why are you doing there? Just come in. It's okay," said Axel, making Natalia feel a little embarrassed.
Axel stared at Natalia continuously. “She seems different this time.” Axel thought. He smiled inwardly, looking at Natalia.
Natalia walked over to Axel and put down the food box she was carrying. "As usual, Axel, I brought you food," said Natalia with a sweet smile.
"Why are you bringing the food a little later than yesterday?" Axel asked to make sure, afraid that something might happen to Natalia. Or at her house, thereby allowing Natalia to come later.
Natalia smiled slightly. "I just woke up late, so I was a little late delivering the food," Natalia said, lying. Obviously, she was late because she was chatting with her father. Let out the most profound contents of her heart
"I'm sorry if I made you wait," added Natalia again, feeling bad for Axel
"Eh, it's okay! I don't mind it!” Axel replied quickly, making Natalia smile a little.
“Are you busy today, Natalia?” Axel asked. Natalia thought for a moment before finally shaking her head.
 "Nothing?" he asked.
“Sit down. Can we talk for a moment?” Axel looked at Natalia's face sharply, while Natalia felt embarrassed if Axel looked at her like that.
At first, Natalia was confused about why Axel told her to sit down.
"There's something important I want to talk about," Axel spoke again when Natalia was silent and had not yet sat her butt on the chair.
Natalia nodded, and she immediately dropped her buttocks on the chair available there. She was looking for a comfortable place so he could freely hear what Axel had to say to her. She was a little embarrassed and shaking, seeing Axel so carefully watching her.
"What do you want to talk about, Axel?" asked Natalia, surprised by what Axel would say today.
Axel defended his breath, and he changed his position to be directly facing Natalia.
“I've wanted to do this for a long time, but it hasn't been fulfilled. Until now, I will sing everything to you," said Axel, pausing his words.
Natalia's heart felt like it was beating fast, afraid of the questions Axel would ask.
“Why do you bring me food every time? In fact, it's been three months."
 Excited!
Sure enough, Natalia felt surprised about Axel's question. What will he answer now? Is it time for Natalia to be honest about her feelings?
"I'm not blaming you, Natalia, and I just want to know what your reason is. You even seem very enthusiastic about bringing me food every morning, and you must always wake up early, right?" Axel asked again.
Natalia just nodded briefly. "Yes, I always wake up early just to make you food in the morning," replied Natalia.
 "So, what's your reason?"
Natalia sighed in resignation, and she looked at Axel's face, who was looking at Natalia too.
“If I'm honest, I've liked you for a long time. That's the reason I always want to bring you food," said Natalia honestly. Axel was a little shocked to hear that.
