Chapter 93

Third-person's POV
Elyana's parents agreed to her plan to visit Lucas' mother, Helen. The old lady had been kind to their daughter since she first stepped into Wilhem's household. They both knew how close their daughter had become to the lady, and they did not want Elyana to have any regrets about not seeing her for the last time.
"I heard you're leaving." Elyana was in the nursery, busy with the book she hadn't finished yet. Her parents were both in an online meeting, which is why she was the one giving Aqui company at that time.
She was so caught up in her reading that she did not notice that Felipe had already entered the room. When Elyana turned to look at him, she saw a gloomy expression on his face. She wanted to ask why, but the question he asked already had the answer.
"Yes, I will tomorrow. Dad has already fixed everything; a private plane will take me there to make it hassle-free for me, so there is nothing to worry about," Elyana replied. She went back to reading after glancing at him.
"Are you sure about that? You do not have to go. It wouldn't be safe for you to travel all alone and also, you still need to ask Chelsea about this first."
"I already asked her and she said I'm allowed. Besides, I will be traveling on a private plane."
"Still, you shouldn't go there. You will be seeing Lucas too. What if he tried hurting you or, if not, trapped—"
Elyana forcefully closed the page of the book she was reading and made Felipe stop speaking his mind. Elyana stared at him intently like she was waiting for him to take back what he said.
'What kind of thoughts are those?" she said when it seemed Felipe didn't have any plans to take those back.
She straightened her back and leaned closer to the backrest of the reclining chair she was sitting on. She arched her eyebrow to show him how much she disliked what she had heard and Felipe got that message.
"It's better to be there as soon as possible before it gets too late. Diane had been a friend to me. Let's disregard that he's Lucas's mother and that freak had issues," she uttered while frowning at him.
She didn't let Felipe speak before she got to say everything she wanted him to hear. "That's indeed the reason why I want to fly as soon as possible to see her. It won't be safe. I didn't tell anyone of them I would be coming. They had moved a place and I know how to get there. If you're scared Lucas could do something, Dad already settled that. He hired people to make sure I would be safe from him or even from Diane in case that crazy girl tried to do something."
Felipe didn't expect Elyana's father would think that advanced, but her ideas were different from those. He believed he was the safest.
"That's not what I want to say," he uttered when he knew Elyana was done talking. Elyana kept quiet and gave Felipe a chance to speak
"What I mean is, there are other ways you can see her without being there personally. You can just call her. You can see her through video calls," he continued, speaking softly to make sure Elyana wouldn't misinterpret his concern.
"Just like I said, I want to see her personally. I can't see any reason why I shouldn't go in the first place." Her frown grew deeper. Her tone went higher this time, which made Felipe frightened.
He knew it was going to be hard to stop her. Everything was already set for her flight the next day and it would be hard to postpone it.
"I am just worried," he said softly. With the way he spoke at the time, he resembled a child who had been chastised by his mother and had transformed into a meek sheep.
By seeing that, Elyana's expression softens. She couldn't help but be compassionate toward him. Besides, she found it sweet for him to care so much but it was also irritating because he mostly overreacted.
"You don't have anything to worry about," she assured him.
Felipe raised his head to look into her eyes. He trusted her and he would trust those men Cihan would be paying to make sure about Elyana's safety. However, there was more he should be worried about; he couldn't just speak those aloud.
"Can I just come with you?" he asked.
"Why—I mean, it is up to you if you want to come," she said, pausing after stammering. "I will be leaving early in the morning, and everything I need is already arranged; you still need to—" Elyana did not have time to finish what she wanted to say. Felipe sprinted out of the nursery, and even though Elyana called him twice to go back, he didn't stop.
Elyana sighed. "What happened to him?" she asked, but she was all alone with her son sleeping to get an answer from anyone.
She went back to the book, but before she could even find the page she was reading, Aqui moved, grabbing all her attention. He was stretching his legs as he moved his head, like searching for something. By then, Elyana knew what it meant.
"Hi, baby!" she greeted him when he opened his eyes. He had been napping for hours already. He surely was hungry.
She approached the crib and opened the side so she could easily get his son out without exerting too much force that would trigger the pain in her operation. She slowly carried him and held him gently in her arms before returning to the reclining chair to breastfeed him.
"Your dad is acting weird, baby. He left; he didn't even say hi to you," she softly told the baby.
She let her left br*st free and Aqui immediately found it. As she left her baby sip, Elyana caressed her son's round head, feeling his soft-thin and growing hair.
"Such a handsome boy you are, my baby," she uttered as she continued.
"I can't believe you're a daddy's boy for always looking for your dad at night. Will you grow up like this? You will sleep next to him? And how about Mommy?" she asked the infant, even though she knew he couldn't answer any of her questions.
Felipe returned after a couple of minutes. He had already changed his clothes and Elyana could smell the body soap he used.
"I fixed it!" he uttered as he walked closer to them.
"Fix the what?" Elyanas asked him without a clue what he meant.
"My passport and all." Elyana couldn't believe that he made an effort.
"S-seriously? How? You were gone for like less than an hour." Elyana laughed at him, unable to believe he could do such a thing on such short notice.
"Why? Do you think I don't have resources and connections just like you?" Felipe raised his eyebrow at her because she seemed to be belittling him and forgot that he was not the person he was used to being anymore.
"Your gayness is coming out again," Elyana commented when she noticed how he said those words.
Felipe quickly lowered his eyebrows, cleared his throat, and straightened his back like a soldier, paying tribute to someone higher than him in rank.
"I'm sorry, ma'am. I got carried away," he apologized, using his natural baritone voice that made Elyana bite her lower lip, using the excuse that her arms were already getting numb and she had to put Aqui back in his crib.
She bent over and placed the infant. Felipe, who happened to be standing just across the crib, saw something that made him swallow hard. He couldn't help but look into it.
Elyana's breast, which he had noticed, was getting bigger because she hadn't pumped yet and was still full of milk. More than half of it remained exposed, and Felipe saw her swelling n*pples.
The sight instantly gave him weird feelings. It was strange, but not something he hadn't felt ever since. Thoughts were firing out of his brain and he couldn't deny that the br*ast was teasing him.
He shook his head, trying to erase all the thoughts he referred to as unpleasant; even at the back of his mind, those were something else.
'Ignore it, Felipe. That's not what you think it is,' he mumbled that Elyana nearly heard.
