CHAPTER 1
CHAPTER 1
Music was playing amidst the crowd, crowds of people were dancing dances. Celebrate the most awaited day of the year.
Laughter, joy together, getting busier with lots of sweet snacks and fresh drinks along the way. All the people who spilled into the streets danced merrily as if they were free.
Viviana, the woman who joined the crowd, rejoiced along with the others. Although only watching from the sidelines and not dancing. But it feels very happy to be able to see the flower festival on Elston's main street.
clap together. The smile on his lips made him look enchanting. But it was a pity that Viviana covered her head with a pink robe that matched her light dress. The woman's aim was not to expose her real identity of being from a famous Marquess family.
As the sun got hotter, the woman stepped aside. For a moment want to go buy water. Dry thirst can not be delayed anymore.
Wow...
A sudden gust of wind blew his hood away. Drop to the shoulders. Revealing long, wavy, bright silver hair.
"Ah..." Then immediately pulled back the hood of his robe to cover his silver hair again.
On the other hand, at the same time, two men wearing black robes and black clothes were walking at the intersection.
They accidentally saw Viviana open her hood. Showing silver hair which is quite rare in this Elston area.
"Silver-haired woman?!"
They were both shocked. After that, the sinister smiles of the two of them looked at Viviana from a distance. A man exclaimed, "To think we're this lucky. At least we don't have to go outside Elston to find a silver-haired lady."
"Hehe... That's right," said the other man, giggling.
Viviana, who was walking towards a tavern, was immediately caught by the two of them.
"Hehe... Beautiful lady, come with us."
Two men who suddenly held her hands from behind. Viviana was wide-eyed as she turned to either side.
Two men with grim looks. One of them had a scar over its left eye and its head was covered by a black cloak. The other one is shorter than his friend.
"Who... Who are you guys?" Viviana was nervous and put on a wary face. Of course he was wary. Two foreign men held her hands from two sides.
"You better shut up and obey our orders. So we won't hurt you, sweet girl," explained the man who had a scar on his left eye.
'We had to bring him sober. Only then did the chairman praise our catch.'
'Too bad with her pretty face. Maybe before he is given to the chairman later, I have to enjoy it first.'
Two different hearts. Viviana was silent for a moment. He took a deep breath and said, "fine. I will obey your orders. But, let go of my hands, or else there will be people who suspect you."
The two men were stunned with their heads tilted. They did not expect that they would easily make this woman they caught just obey. Of course they are happy.
"Okay."
They both agree. Let go of Viviana's hand. Give directions to turn right.
Both squeeze on the right and left. So, even if they didn't hold Viviana's hand, they could still start up close.
'They both look like mountain criminals who are said to kidnap many silver-haired girls,' thought Viviana.
'Unlucky! If only the wind had not been blowing hard earlier, they would not have known that my hair is silver,' he cursed in his heart.
'I have to leave a trail. Maybe someone will find out.'
While walking through the crowd, Viviana glanced right and left. The two men who were captivating her kept a close watch on the right and left. Even though they are slightly behind.
Viviana began to make sense. A belief rose within him. He folded his left hand inside his robes. Touching his hair, some of which moved to the front of the chest.
Tuk ...
One strand was pulled by force. Dropped it on purpose.
Again and so on. Every two steps, he dropped a strand of silver hair that could be considered precious by some circles.
'This is the only option. Hopefully, someone will notice. Oh, goddess, please bring someone who can save me,' he hoped with full confidence.
The two men on either side were oblivious to Viviana who had left a trail. They kept directing Viviana to keep walking following the direction. Head for the big hill road south of Elston.
"Nothing bad happened, right? Do we still need to go around some more?"
One man kept on complaining with another man next to him. His walking body seemed powerless. His drooping shoulders and sullen face remained unnoticed by the friend.
"If you stay indifferent, I'll come back by myself."
Aiden went the other way. The man did not forget to continue swearing at Raymond Wyatt who took him around the street three times.
"Really tiring. My energy is drained from walking all day."
Raymond didn't hold back or speak to Aiden anymore. Letting the man go alone when he said he wanted to return to the magic tower.
Raymond was silent for a moment in the middle of the street. The man with a tall body and jet black hair had a bad feeling since this morning.
'Am I wrong? However, my heart felt restless. Something must have happened during the festival today,' he thought, feeling uneasy.
Recently there have been reports of kidnappings. The kidnappers were rumored to have kidnapped the silver-haired woman.
This made Raymond feel uneasy. That's why he patrolled the streets to check and monitor. Afraid there is a suspicious movement.
Tried spinning three times but still can't find anything. That's why, Aiden, his assistant, was fed up and chose to go back. Don't want to continue with a search that didn't return this result.
"Haa... Maybe I've been wrong. I guess, having too much work keeps me from focusing."
The man seemed to have given up. The black cloak that clung to his broad shoulders swept him away. Make a gust of wind that is strong enough around his steps.
tap ...
Raymond furrowed his brows. When something came perched above the nose.
A strand of hair. When touched feels a little tingly and very disturbing. Raymond picked up a strand of hair sticking out of his nose suddenly.
His eyes opened wide as he saw more clearly the color of that strand of hair. Intense and bright silver color. The palm that was wearing the black glove made a single strand of hair stand out in color.
"This, silver hair?"
Raymond turned around. Looking down, squinting at the asphalt road.
After two steps of walking, he saw back a strand of silver hair that matched exactly the one in his grasp.
He took it back. Matching it with the strand of hair that had been bothering him.
"The same length?!"
