Chapter 115: Bee hive

The inherent spiritual power of each individual varies slightly, and the most crucial aspect of alchemical synthesis is the coordination of spiritual power.
The chip in question is a computing machine designed specifically for calculating the steps of spiritual power coordination for Angelet.
Therefore, if another person undergoes a similar process, they may not be able to configure the same synthesized product.
This ensures that only Angelet can use this alchemical method and find alternative medicinal ingredients in this manner.
"Immediately start simulating the alchemical synthesis process."
Angelet raised the glass, gazing intently at the thick yellowish liquid inside, a smile on his face.
"Task established. Alchemical synthesis simulation initiated... Estimated time: fifteen minutes."
"Display my current physical model." Angelet muttered in silence.
With a resonant chime, a 3D human body model in pale green suddenly appeared in Angelet's field of vision, transparent and slowly rotating. Alongside the human model, continuous data rows changed.
It included heartbeat, breathing rate, brainwaves, electrocardiograms, and various other body data, including strength, agility, physical and mental aspects. None of this data remained static but fluctuated continuously within a certain threshold.
"My spiritual power has reached 4 stars?" Angelet saw the spiritual power column displaying the figure 4.0. More than ten decimal digits continuously changed behind the decimal point, sometimes higher, sometimes lower. However, it remained relatively stable.
"My physical body has been strengthened, and my genes are continually improving. Currently, even the chip has been enhanced. Previously, investigating and discovering many things could only reach two decimal places, but now it can reach over ten decimal places, greatly improving precision."
"But spiritual power progression is too slow. If I can't synthesize a bottle of Clarity Elixir... I am now 16 years old, and if I can't reach the third rank before turning 18, there's no hope of advancing to become a mage. It's essential to do it as soon as possible." Angelet expressed a bit of urgency.
Over ten minutes later.
"Simulation completed. Success rate of synthesis: 23.15%."
Angelet finally breathed a sigh of relief after receiving feedback from the chip.
"This success rate isn't low either, maybe one in five attempts will be successful. That's considered quite high. So... let's start the simulation transmission of the alchemical synthesis process."
Angelet silently contemplated, his face revealing a thoughtful expression.
"Transmission initiated..."
...
Half an hour later...
Angelet walked out of the room with a gloomy expression, heading to the backyard, taking a deep breath. Finally, a smile appeared on his face.
He raised his hand, holding a silver metal vial in his right hand.
"I finally managed to concoct a bottle of Clarity Elixir... using the ingredients for four attempts, I successfully synthesized the dosage for one bottle. Lucky. But I need to buy a large quantity of earth bee hives right away."
"Now, it's time to test the effectiveness of this Clarity Elixir."
Angelet checked the entrance, windows, and backyard door, then locked everything to avoid disturbances from outsiders.
He then returned to the room and sat on the bed.
Taking out the silver bottle, Angelet gently unscrewed the glass cap.
A strong chocolate scent suddenly wafted out.
Angelet looked into the mouth of the bottle; inside was a thick liquid, resembling chocolate, emitting a sweet fragrance.
"If I didn't brew it myself, I wouldn't have known if it's chocolate or Clarity Elixir."
He shook his head slightly, tilting his head to pour the liquid from the bottle into his mouth.
"Splash!"
Angelet threw the small bottle onto the ground, and it rolled, hitting the wall with a loud bang. A painful expression appeared on his face.
The liquid poured into his mouth wasn't as sweet as it looked. Angelet felt what he drank resembled a salty seafood-flavored broth mixed with a spicy aroma, and it even had a hint of bitterness. It was like drinking the spiciest dragon pepper in the world.
Sweat quickly appeared on Angelet's face; tiny droplets converged into large sweat beads, rolled down, and collected, flowing into his shirt collar. Soon, Angelet's entire body was soaked.
His face turned flushed, and the intensely burning sensation continued to spread from the esophagus and stomach to his whole body.
"Monitor the change in the spiritual power threshold..." He suppressed the hot and nauseous feeling and quietly murmured.
"Spiritual power threshold being monitored... rising rapidly... Ding!"
Spiritual power had reached 4.1.
...
"Spiritual power reached 4.15."
...
...
After an unknown amount of time, Angelet finally managed to overcome the discomfort caused by the elixir.
Clothes and bed were soaked with sweat.
He stood up from the bed, feeling quite exhausted.
"Zero, what is my current spiritual power?"
"Current spiritual power is 4.2."
"Phew..."
Angelet sighed lightly.
"Only a 0.2-star increase after one dose? It seems that with more than ten bottles, I can reach the standard of 6 stars. It's just a substitute, and the formula can be found through the chip. By taking advantage of the low price and consuming a large quantity, this path is sure to succeed."
He looked at his clothes.
"It's just a bit terrifying to go through the process of taking the medicine."
In his heart, there was still a bit of fear.
"There's also the Shamo bottle behind..." Angelet suddenly realized that he had a slight aversion to this medicine.
He wasn't afraid of pain or injury, but even he was sure that he wouldn't want to experience the feeling of nausea and stomach pain. However, in reality, life didn't always go as planned.
"Gone?"
"Yes, that's right. The authentication is no longer available. The last batch of bee hives you purchased was the remaining stock in our inventory."
"I'm sorry for disappointing you." The staff apologized, bowing their heads.
Angelet stood in front of the counter, furrowing his brows.
He was in the largest pharmacy in the city, the noon sunlight shining through the door directly onto his black leather boots.
At the counter in front of him, seven or eight staff members were busy serving customers buying medicine.
And one of them was attending to Angelet.
"Is your Grace Pharmacy the largest in the city, and there are no other branches in other areas?" Angelet asked again.
"Yes, that's right. The bee hives you bought last time were the last remaining ones." The salesperson apologized again. "I'm sorry for letting you down."
"Alright." Angelet nodded.
After leaving the pharmacy, he walked back along the street.
But he was thinking about how to obtain more earth bee hives.
The last time he synthesized the first Clarity potion was over a month ago.
During this period of more than a month, he continued to collect bee hives from all over the city.
However, he only got two, encountering out-of-stock situations everywhere.
Every pharmacy he passed, he had bought all the bee hives in their inventory.
