Chapter 50 Submission

Olivia who was standing behind the pillar, saw Sylvia walking out the room. On her actions, she looks like she's agitated and in the bad mood.
The woman can't help but smile on her thoughts. She can't wait to drove that Sylvia away from their lives.
After the woman was gone in her sight, she walked in to the closed door.
She saw her husband standing, facing the glass wall and with his deep thoughts.
She hugged him sneakily on the back.
"What happened?" She asked.
Greg remained silent for few seconds. But he faced her afterwards.
"I will bring Siren here. She will live with us again."
The smile on Olivia's face quickly fades as she heard him. But she managed to recover it with just a blink of an eye.
Deep inside her, she felt like she was stabbed in her chest. It's not a request from him. It's a decision he already made up. Even without her consent.
The thought of getting rid of Sylvia seems like a mission that is impossible for her to accomplish. More harder this time that Siren will be coming back.
How dare he could decide just like that?
But she couldn't afford to say those words. She needs to play it cool. Not now.
---------
The next day, Siren decided to roam outside. It's been a while that she just stayed inside her home, mourning and crying. But after her conversation with Diana yesterday, she realizes that their is still life she had to continue.
Yes, she was still grieving for her friend's death, but there is also a life inside her that should be taken cared off too. Besides, she knew that the justice she was seeking for Harry's death, will soon be served. And that made her worries gone little by little.
"Where are we heading?" Diana asked after getting inside the car. Unlike Harry, Diana was way more cool when it comes on treating her. She was not into pampering her and got no trace that she was going to do it sooner. She's like her equal. No sugar coats, no filters.
"Anywhere." Siren said.
"Okay, cool." Diana starts driving.
On their way out, Siren's phone rang. Felix's name was on the screen.
"Hey..."
"What is it?" She asked.
"Woah woah, relax... Did I call you at the wrong time?" He said.
"Well, not really."
"Do you have something to do before lunch?"
"I'm planning to go somewhere else, but I didn't have any specific thing to do. Why?"
"Well, I suggest we better go see your Designer today."
"Designer?" She asked with a frown. "For what?"
"For your gown. Three weeks from now, it'll be your birthday."
Siren get surprised by what he said. How come did she forget about that?
"Do we really have to go now? I don't feel like going there."
"Well, It's just a suggestion since I'm free today. But if you have any one to go there some other day, it's okay."
"Your free?" He asked him unbelievably.
"Yeah. I'm makin' myself free to accompany you."
She smiled as he said those words. "Wow... I feel like I'm going to cry right now. You're so sweet." She sarcastically said.
"Oh, that's nothing." Good thing about this guy, he knows how to ride her petty jokes.
"Okay, I'll drop by."
"Good. Should I wait for you here in my office? Or at the lobby?"
"No, I mean, at the boutique. I'm on the way now." She took a glance at Diana's side.
"Oh." He could only say.
"I'm hunging up now." She immediately turn the line off. Her ulterior motive is to pissed him off, though he was the one to initiate their meeting. It's just that Felix is a person whom she enjoyed pissing even if he's acting kind to her.
---------
Jeff lift up his head when he noticed the person standing in front of him. He suddenly stood up and put his hands on both of his pockets.
"Have a seat." He said.
The woman silently sat in front of him and he took his seat too.
"What are you doing here?" Samantha Hilton, on her gloomy face, asked.
Jeff took a deep breath before leaning forward. He put his arms above the table.
"I just want to ask some questions."
"Why? Are you a lawyer?" She looked at him as if she was belittling him.
Her eyes widened because of what he said. But there was still a trace of doubt even though she didn’t speak.
Jeff quickly reached into his polo pocket. And in front of Sam, he laid down the small flash drive.
Seeing that, the woman's face turned pale. Her gaze flickered back and forth between the flash drive and his face. The earlier doubt on her face was replaced by fear.
"We both know what's inside that flash drive." The expression on the man's face was serious.
"How did you get that?" The woman's question voice was trembling.
Sam felt like she was already at the end at this point.
The flash drive. She did not know why the man in front of her had it. But if it happen to falls into the hands of anyone, not only her name and reputation will be ruined, but also their entire family. The company. All that she and her parents had worked for would come to nothing.
The woman wept at the realization.
"Save your tears for now. You still have a lot to cry about next time." Not in the mood, Jeff said. He felt like she was just like any ordinary women. Everything will go through crying and begging.
But he knew that Samantha Hilton was not just any woman. She's a wicked woman who can take everything into her own hands, either it's life or death.
He shook his head. His mind recalls the bitter experience Harry had at the hand of the woman who's sitting in front of him. The same thing happened to Siren that until now he could not tell to the young lady.
------
Siren arrived at a designer shop earlier so she immediately called Felix to ask where he was.
"I'm close. I'll be there in ten minutes."
Siren rolled her eyes before ending the call. She entered the show room to look at the gowns on display.
She knew every gown inside that shop was unique in the whole world, because its designer didn’t make a gown with a consistent design.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" She heard a costumer's praise. Perhaps the person was amazed by the stunning dresses that are out there.
An evening gown grabbed her attention. It is bright red in color and up to the heel. It is designed with small but also vivid black diamonds. It's off-shoulder but the cleavage won't be visible.
She imagined herself wearing that gown as she looked at it.
But before she could grab it, a hand also touches the dress as she laid her hand on it.
