Chapter 25 My inmate's Fiance' is my ex-boyfriend

Chapter 25
The driver suddenly stopped because of Kelly's asking for help.
"Release her!" the driver growled at the three women.
The women let go of Kelly's hair when the driver sewed them up.
“We didn’t do anything to her, we were just having fun,” the skinny woman explained.
The driver continued driving while peeking behind him.
The woman slowly picked up the fallen handkerchief and suddenly covered Kelly's mouth.
She struggled and could not speak to ask for help.
Kelly spotted the lesbian grabbing a pair of scissors from her pocket and suddenly pulling at her shiny hair.
"You look better if you're bald," the lesbian smiled as she cut Lyca's hair.
They were laughing.
Kelly tried to struggle but she couldn’t get away because of the tight grip on her.
She closed her eyes and she felt her hair cut up to her scalp.
Kelly could do nothing but shed her tears.
"That's what you deserve!" the lesbian said rudely to her.
The women were not satisfied and even the yellow gown that Kelly was wearing that was being made by a famous designer was cut by them.
"The bald Cinderella!"
They chattered and released Kelly.
"Why did you do this to me!" she agonized.
The three sat behind Kelly who babbled while laughing.
"Don't make any noise there if you don't want us to get you out of the car!"
Kelly felt nervous so she forced herself to keep quiet.
She was resentful because she had nothing against those who oppressed her.
Thirty minutes later the driver stopped the van.
"Miss, we've reached your address so get out of the car and be careful."
The women behind her laughed and seemed happy that they had mistreated Kelly.
"Thank you so much," Kelly replied as she hurried out of the van.
The car left and Kelly hurried into her room. She turned on the light and hurriedly looked at herself in the mirror.
She was filled with sorrow when she saw what had happened to her.
Her hair felt like it had been eaten by a rat which made her very depressed.
It was eleven o'clock in the evening but she still had not received a message from Stephen.
"Why didn't he even update me? What could have happened to him?" she said in a soothing voice.
She picked up her cellphone to call Stephen but no one answered her call.
She would have intended to report to Stephen what his friends had done to her but her grief only increased because he no longer seemed to care about her.
She changed into her pajamas to go to sleep but her tears flowed again when she remembered how the women tore her expensive gown and her tears dripped even more because she remembered what Doña Helena had done to her before.
She already felt drowsy so even though she was upset she rested because she was tired.
A series of knocks woke Kelly up so she immediately stood up to open the door thinking it was Stephen who knocked.
She took a towel to wrap around her head because she was ashamed of her hair.
She quickly opened the door but was surprised when an unknown woman appeared in front of her.
"Are you Kelly Sawyer?" asked the woman carrying the white envelope.
"Yes I am," she replied quickly with astonishment.
"I'm here to let you know about your stay here," the woman said as she handed Kelly the white envelope.
Kelly immediately opened the envelope and saw a letter inside. She took the bond paper inside the envelope and read it.
"What does this mean!" Kelly didn't quite understand what was written on the bondpaper but she was nervous.
"It means you've been given a week to leave here," the woman said in a respectful tone.
"Why? My friend owns this apartment and she herself gave me permission to live here," Kelly stammered.
"This whole apartment has already been sold by the previous owner so the new owner intends to evict all the tenants here for renovation," she explained.
Kelly's mind was confused and she couldn't believe everything.
"Miss Kelly, you already have the notice of eviction and hopefully it's all clear to you and I'm leaving as well."
Kelly was left alone and she didn’t know what to do.
She was full of apprehension so she thought of calling Jhanice to confirm everything.
She picked up her cellphone and immediately dialed Jhanice’s number.
Jhanice's cellphone rang for a long time before she picked it up.
"Hello, why did you call me?" Jhanice answered in a disgusted tone.
"Jhanice, good day to you, I just wanted to confirm from you if it's true that this apartment has been sold," Kelly said in her hoarse voice.
"I'm sorry daddy sold it, Stephen is there and you two are getting married so just go back to his house," Jhanice said in a hurried voice.
Kelly was about to answer but Jhanice put down her cellphone and didn't wait for Kelly's answer.
“What am I going to do now?
She drew her deepest sigh.
"Lord, please help me."
Kelly burst into tears and didn't know what to do, Stephen added to her problem because he didn't contact her anymore.
"Why did this happen to me? When will I be able to have peace of mind and serenity in life," she said sadly as she caressed her growing belly.
"Son, you're the only treasure I have right now and I know you're the only person who will truly love me."
Her abundant tears dripped and she just let them flow down her cheeks. She was silent and thought deeply for a while until she thought of calling Stephen.
She picked up her cellphone even though she was hesitant to call him.
“I need to know what has happened to Stephen, hopefully nothing bad has happened to him,” she said as she dialed Stephen’s number.
Stephen's cellphone rang and a woman's voice answered it immediately.
"Hello! What do you need of him!" she hissed.
Kelly immediately recognized Lyca's voice.
"How are you?" Kelly asked.
Lyca laughed out loud.
"How are you feeling now that you're bald? Do you still have a face to face with Stephen?" she scoffed.
She heard Lyca giggle.
"I want to talk to Stephen because I want to report to him what they're doing to me".
"You're really pathetic, don't you know that Stephen ordered the women to do that to you?" she teased Kelly.
"I won't believe you because you're a liar!" she said in a disgusted tone.
"All right, you don't want to believe? I'll call Stephen to make you believe."
"Sweetheart! Sweetheart!
"Why sweetie? Are you hungry? What do you want for breakfast? Sandwich and bacon or just chicken nuggets and milk?"
Kelly heard Stephen's loving voice to Lyca.
"Sweetheart, just make me some tea," Lyca replied in her sweet voice.
"Okay, wait a minute, just wait there."
Kelly couldn't help but be offended by what she heard.
"Sweetie, someone wants to talk to you."
Kelly waited two minutes before Stephen answered.
"Hello," Stephen greeted in an emotionless voice.
"Honey! When are you going home? I have something important to tell you," Kelly replied in a pitiful voice.
"Don't call and don't mess up our lives! I don't want to see your face anymore!" Stephen answered in an irritated voice.
