Chapter 5.3

I laughed like a crazy woman there. Honeymoon? As if.
“Have you already lost your mind?” he asked while looking something on his phone.
“Did I really marry you?”
“Why? You can't believe it? Here, I'll show you.” He gave me his phone and scrolled up.
“What the heck?! Why do you have such picture? Delete that!” It's a photo of us, kissing, at the wedding hall.
He took his phone back and put it in his pocket.
“Do you have a habit of taking pictures of me? Delete that! Also that picture in the elevator, delete that!”
“Nah. Why would I?”
Well, that's fine, on my part. But for Zainea, pfft. Maybe she would go smashing things, if she'll find out.
“Pervert. Where on earth will you bring me to? You're well-prepared, huh?”
What now? For how long will I have to replace Zainea? I must do things faster. I won't let that Caileigh do things according to her will. I won't let her succeed on any of her evil plans anymore.
He gave me my ticket.
Is he serious?! Switzerland?!
“For how many days are we going to stay there?”
“Three weeks.”
“Three weeks?! Do you have something to do there? Gosh, why can't you just leave me here, and go alone? If this has something to do with your business, don't bring me along.”
Zainea's accident hasn't been solved yet. I have to stay here, and help Megan find out who caused this mess. I won't let that person wander around as if she/he didn't do anything. After that, I will fly to China and let Caileigh pay for her crimes, as well.
I don't have time for your game, Zayden Constello. Whatever it is.
“This won't affect our honeymoon, honey. Don't worry.” Is he mocking me?
“Excuse me? That is not my problem! I'm telling you, even if we're married, we won't interfere with each other's private life, and live as if we're not married. Can we just do that?”
“That's a no for me.”
Grrr.
“Urgh! Okay. No? Then...” I tear my ticket into tiny pieces. “Oops? What now? I guess you'll have to go there, alone.” I smirked.
“What the?!”
“I'll just see you off, husband.” This is what you call VICTORY!
He smirked. “I know you would do that.” He took out the tickets from the pocket of his coat.
“W-What? You... Urgh!” What a smart ass.
I really don't have time for your games, Constello! Whatever it is!
“Where're you going? Escaping, again?” he said when he saw me standing.
“What's the use of that word when you almost surrounded the whole airport with your guards? I can see them. They're not good at hiding.”
“Then sit and behave.”
“Nature calls. What? You want to come with me?”
“My pleasure.” He takes a hold at my hand and drags me to the comfort room.
“Ha! I can't believe you. Do you like me that much that you can't take your eyes off me for just a second?” I said sarcastically.
“Like is a strong word. I'm just being cautious.”
“You and your excuses,” I teased him.
“Keep on dreaming, then.”
“Stop!”
“What?”
“What do you mean what? You're really going inside?”
“Why not?”
“You! Mind you, cold man. This is for girls. See? You want to peep?” I shook off his hand.
“One minute.”
“What one minute?”
“57 seconds.”
“Hey! Gosh. Five minutes will be enough. You really are a pain in the ass.” I entered the room and locked the door.
I won't go with you to Switzerland.
“Uhm. Excuse me? Can I ask you a favor?” I approached the woman putting on a lipstick, in front of the mirror.
She puts her lipstick in her pouch.
“What is it?”
“Help me escape. I've been strictly guarded by some men outside and they're all over the airport, so I can't escape on my own. Can you help me?”
“Why would I? Wait, you are Zainea Amadeo, aren't you?” Her eyes went big. “Congrats on your wedding. I'm a big fan of yours! Can I have a picture with you?”
“A-Ah. Sure.” We had some pictures together, and she even asked for my autograph.
“Thank you! What's your favor again? Escape? Escape from whom?”
She recognized me, so probably, she knows the man outside.
“Nah. Never mind. I'm just practicing some lines for my new drama.”
“Really? I'm sure your drama will be a hit. Wish you luck, miss. Many of your fans will surely support you all the way.”
“Thank you. Can I—”
“Zainea.” Zayden knocks on the door.
“Can you have a little bit more patience?!”
“We'll going to be late.”
That's what I want!
“Two minutes! Just wait!”
“Is that—”
“Let's swap our clothes, please.”
“Why?”
“No, wait. Hit me. Hit me hard.”
“What?! Why would I do that? Hitting you will give me countless enemies—Oh God! Hey! Anyone out there?!”
I collapsed and pretends to be unconscious. Hope this works.
“Hey! Wake up! Miss Zainea!”
I heard her opened the door.
“I don't know why, but your wife suddenly fainted. I didn't hit her, I swear.”
“Zainea.” Zayden lightly slapped my face.
“Should I call 911?”
“No, thanks. She's just tired.” He carried me.
“Are you sure? She seems weird when she entered.”
“I got this. Thank you for your concern. Hope this won't reach anywhere else.”
“No one else will know. I guarantee you that.”
“Hmm.” Zayden started to walk carrying me on his arms, so I took the chance and sneaked in my hand inside his pocket.
“Don't let your guard down, Mister Zayden Constello.” I crumpled the tickets and put it inside my mouth.
He cursed. He puts me down. He's even forcing me to open my mouth.
He let out a deep sigh.
“Is it delicious?” he asked sarcastically.
I nodded. This is what you call VICTORY!! I can't hide my smile when I saw him frown.
He points his finger on me. I take his hand and spit the tickets on his palm.
“Thank you.” Seeing his reaction makes me want to laugh really, really hard. His face is saying ‘gross’.
He dropped the tickets on the ground and took out his phone.
“Hello, Tristan? Tell Caileigh Ruscitti—”
“Wait! What did you just say? Caileigh Ruscitti?” Did I hear it right, or I'm just having a problem with my ears?
“Stop interrupting me, Zainea. I have my limits.” He's pissed. Oh, the great Zayden Constello is pissed. This is new.
“Tell that Ruscitti that I won't be able to meet her tomorrow. If she really wants to have a deal with me, inform her to come here in France.” He hung up the call.
“Did I hear it right? Caileigh Ruscitti? You have a meeting with her?”
“What is it with you? Are you now interested in meddling with my business?” He walks to the waiting area and drag his suitcase.
“Hey!” I followed him. He snobbed me.
“I'm sorry, okay? We can reschedule the flight. I'll go with you. Really.”
He stopped, and looked at me.
“Why are you suddenly changing your decision? Your attitude changed when you heard that woman's name. Do you know Caileigh Ruscitti?”
Yes! I know that bitch! Caileigh Ruscitti is my sister, you got that? She's the sister who attempted to kill and abandon me!
“Kind of. I read news about her, and I want to meet her, personally. I'm one of those people who have a deep...” Grudge and hate. “Admiration to her. So...”
“Then let her come here. I'm not in the mood to travel, now. Besides, she's the one who got some business proposal. It won't be my loss if she'll not come.”
That bitch. She doesn’t want to come here again, does she? She's afraid her plan on killing me might be a failure. She just wants to make sure our paths won't cross again, huh?
“Ow.”
“Ow,” he imitated me.
“Psh. Is it fun? Let's go. I'm hungry. What do you want to eat? I'll cook. You don't know, I'm a great cook.”
I'll win Zayden's favor, and put Caileigh's plan into vain. I won't let her have another successful deal.
