CHAPTER 31: The Ending

After that night, three months had passed, during which Ace and Marianne were living peacefully in their own kingdom and Ace is doing their assignments for the Academy, Ace suddenly noticed that Marianne was not feeling well, so he asked, "Is something wrong, dear?" To which Marianne replied, "I'm pregnant." Ace's face lit up, and he smiled, exclaiming, "Really?!" He then approached Marianne, hugging her tightly and planting a gentle kiss on her forehead. Kneeling down beside her, he tenderly placed his hand on her womb and kissed it as well. "This is the happiest day of my life," he expressed with joy. "Father needs to know this," Ace said. He then turned back to his chair where he had been working on his assignments and proceeded to write a letter for his father, Asherton, and Vale, informing them about Marianne's pregnancy.
Six months passed, and Vale, Elena, Asherton, and Alexander went to visit Marianne and Ace. They were overjoyed to learn that Marianne was now pregnant. "I want to suggest a name for my grandchild, Valex or Alex!" Alexander suggested. "As for me, if it's a girl, I suggest we name her Añema," Vale suggested. Ace chuckled gently and replied, "No, we already have a name planned." "What name is it?" Alexander asked. "Zephyr Sebaztian if it's a boy," Ace said. "And... Seraphina if it's a girl," Marianne added. "Well, I suggest we make it Tulip Seraphina," Elena interrupted. "No, I suggest Sunflower Rose instead," Alexander interrupted. "Really? Sunflower Rose?" Vale asked, raising an eyebrow. "I suggest we name her Luna Seraphine," Asherton interjected, emphasizing that it would be a fitting name if the baby turned out to be a girl. "Okay, it's decided then. Zephyr Sebastian if it's a boy, and Luna Seraphine if it's a girl," Ace declared. "Okay, sounds good to me," Alexander agreed. "Yeah, I agree," Vale responded with a smile.
Nine months passed, and it was also their graduation from Harrington Academy. During the ceremony, Marianne suddenly felt a sharp pain and instinctively grabbed the shoulder of the girl next to her, seeking support. "Are you alright?" the girl asked with concern. When Ace noticed this from a distance, he immediately ran towards Marianne, realizing that she was about to give birth. He hurriedly reached her side and offered his assistance. Ace swiftly lifted Marianne into his arms and hurriedly made his way out of the ceremony. Asherton, Alexander, and Vale, witnessing the urgency of the situation, quickly followed Ace to the front gate. Alexander wasted no time and called out to the guards, requesting their assistance. Understanding the gravity of the situation, the guards swiftly arranged for a vehicle to transport Ace and Marianne to their destination.
Ace and Marianne safely arrived at their destination, with Alexander, Asherton, and Vale closely following behind. As they reached the location, they found Ace seated in the waiting area, his expression a mix of anticipation and concern. "Hey, son, are you alright?" Alexander asked, his voice filled with concern. "Yeah, I'm just nervous," Ace responded, his voice tinged with anticipation. "It's alright to be nervous, it's completely normal," Vale reassured him, offering a comforting smile. "Yeah, you should be happy. Your first child is about to be born!" Asherton chimed in, his voice filled with excitement and joy.
Minutes later, a maid servant emerged from the room and approached Ace, delivering the news. "It was successful. The queen has given birth to twins," the maidservant announced. Ace was taken aback, his eyes widening in surprise. "Twins?!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with astonishment. Alexander, equally stunned, couldn't help but ask, "Wait, what?!" "We should go inside and see for ourselves," Asherton suggested. They all entered the room and found Marianne peacefully sleeping in the bed. Ace approached her and gently kissed her forehead, his voice filled with gratitude as he whispered, "I'm so grateful."
The maidservant then handed Vale and Alexander the twins, and Alexander couldn't help but express his joy. "Aww~ look at this. My grandchild looks just like me, handsome and strong," he proudly exclaimed. However, the maidservant gently corrected him, saying, "That's a girl, my majesty." Surprised, Alexander inquired, "Oh, where's the boy?" The maidservant then pointed to the baby in Vale's hands, directing Alexander's attention towards him. "Oh, let me see the boy," Alexander said with excitement as he approached Vale. As he gazed at the baby boy, Alexander couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. "He is so handsome, just like me," Alexander whispered with a smile, marveling at the resemblance.
Ace smiled warmly at the family gathering around him and took a seat by Marianne's side, gently holding her hand. As Marianne slowly woke up, she looked at Ace with love in her eyes. "I can't wait to make more twins," Ace whispered to Marianne, his voice filled with excitement and affection. Marianne smiled gently in response, their shared anticipation and love filling the room with warmth and happiness.
Three years passed, and Marianne once again gave birth to twins. This time, they were blessed with two boys. In honor of Alexander, who had suggested the names, they named them Meichalex and Asheander. The family rejoiced at the arrival of the new additions, grateful for the love and joy that continued to fill their lives.
Their journey began with a declaration that they didn't want to marry each other, but fate had a different plan in store. Against all odds, they found love and ended up together, building a life filled with happiness and blessings. The arrival of their twins was a testament to the beautiful and unexpected twists that life can bring. Through their love and commitment, they created a family that would forever be connected by the bond of love and the joy of parenthood.
And in their journey, they discovered that sometimes, the most extraordinary love stories are the ones that begin with an unexpected "no" and end with a resounding "yes."
