Samantha was consumed in her sleep. She was leaning on Gregory's shoulders. The man craned to tilt his head for a bit, giving her a glance while she sleeps. They were at the bus and Gregory isn't fond of being in a public transportation. He didn't mind the exhaust smell that seeped through his nostrils. He didn't mind the hot humid air that brushed on his skin. Gregory noticed the differences in his circumstance being in a bus. But he didn't mind it at all. He was busy looking to Samantha who was still deeply lost in her dreamland. Samantha snuggled closer. She was just slowly getting her awareness back from dozing off. Her eyes flickered, she opened them. Panic rose in her but then she realized that she's in a bus and Gregory is beside her all throughout the entire ride. She slowly stopped herself from leaning her head on his shoulders. She lifted it before she stared at him. “Your shoulders must be sore.” She straightly said. Gregory only smiled at her before he shook his head. “I'm fine. How's your sleep?” He asked her. She took a whiff of air. “It's good.” She looked around to see the passengers and their activities. The people were busy doing their stuff too. Including her best friend who's busy laughing and snuggling with her man beside her. She tore her eyes before she settled her gaze at Gregory again. “Are you hungry?” She asked him. The man then nodded his head at her. She felt an immediate guilt in her. She then leaned downward. Samantha rummaged through her bag near her feet. She was checking the snacks she brought with her. 3 bags of chips, there were packs of biscuits, 2 cans of soda, and there were baked muffins too. Her eyes then landed on the remaining snack she packed. She reached for it and got the bottled water and handed it to Gregory. It was granola bars and a packed of pistachios. Gregory liked them. Samantha can still clearly recall the first time she opened his refrigerator in his condo. Gregory had tons of pistachios sorted and stored inside his fridge. It was something she immediately instilled in her head that Gregory likes it. Gregory was the kind to be keen on living a healthy lifestyle for himself. He was into greens and fruit juices all the way. Samantha loved greens and fruits too. But not much. Not to the point that it will be a whole ingredients in her diet. After Gregory received what she handed. She bent her body again, dipped her head down for a bit before her hands reached for a pack of potato chips sje brought with her. She opened the bag before she took a smell of the snack. She had a satisfied grin on her face before she reached for a chip and stuffed it inside her mouth. Samantha can feel the eyes of Gregory on her so she angled her head to stare back at him. “What's wrong?” She asked him. Gregory just shook his head. “You're cute.” He uttered while smiling. He then took a bite of the granola bar he had already opened. His eyes then went back to her. “Mind if I would grab a few chips?” Samantha handed the opened bag of chips towards Gregory. “Dig in.” She replied. Samantha suddenly felt warm and fuzzy with a smile on her face. Something seemed to spike her blood with a sudden tinge of adrenaline. Her heart suddenly felt excited and happy. Her eyes went to check on Gregory again. Samantha saw him staring at her. With the same happy yet content look on his face. The noise of the bus suddenly came through their ears. The screech of the tires was a signal that the bus stopped. The light and breeze air was felt by Samantha. Her lose hair danced as the wind passed by. Making Gregory reached for her face to tucked the strands that covered her face. It was a gesture that made her heart warm. She was staring at him. The man suddenly flashed a smile on his face while equally meeting her gaze. “We're here! We're finally here! I'm so glad that we're now here.” Cassidy's voice was loud. The two of them quickly removes their gazes from each other and stared at her. Chase on the other hand was trying to fan her face. “You're being loud.” He uttered in a scolding tone. “And here was supposed to be your favorite word right now.” He added. Cassidy grimaced at him and made another scowling face. “I was just feeling excited.” She frowned and sulked back on her seat. “Now, all of my excitement had already left my body. I'm no longer feeling happy.” Chase suddenly felt stressed because of the change of her mood. He then tried to said a joke towards her but the woman frowned even more at his words. She crossed her arms, lips were pouting. She was throwing daggers at him. The two stared back to each other. They utter no words but talked with their eyes. Gregory moved his lips and smiled at her. “I think we need to get out.” He told her. Samantha nodded her head at him. The latter carefully got the bag out of her. He paced himself firce and Samantha followed. She took a step down. Three for steps when she suddenly tripped over the edge of the it. Her heart raced she awaited the fall but to her surprise Gregory was holding her. He managed to catch her right in time. She was wrapped in his arms. Their eyes meet, something passed in both of them. No humor is present. Samantha didn't look away and he didn't too. The two of them were so close to each other. “Isn't this a scene from a telenovela? This is dazzlingly good. Ohhhh!” They both look only to see Cassidy smiling in triumph. Her mouth is now beaming with her smile. She was staring at them almost as if they were lovely little creatures. “You two... You two are so lovely together.” She uttered at them.
