Gregory wasn’t able to retort to what Aunt Nina said. He immediately excuse himself and asked Aunt Nina’s husband if he could ride one of his horse. When the latter uttered his reply, Gregory uttered his thanks to the man and hurried to the stables. Something flawed rushed through him upon knowing where Samantha was. He suddenly felt afraid of all the possibilities that can happen. The area was substantial of the goodness the Earth can offer. But it doesn’t mean that it isn’t defective with danger. Dread is flowing through him. He needs to make sure that she is safe. He needs to see her face for himself. He wanted to apologize for the poor execution of his behavior. It wasn’t something likeable. He didn’t like it. He was sure that Samantha didn’t like it too. Gregory stopped in front to the porch and made his way inside. He stopped. He reached for the animal. He was careful in his caress. It went near him. A soft neigh came from it. Gregory touched its chin. He lowered his head to be in contact with the forehead of the animal. It was supposedly calm even for something with intense vigor. “I need your help.” He whispered in a low voice. -- Samantha loved the air she can take out in the open. It made her smile. Before it suddenly took a turn. Her emotion changed. She then frowned. Dandelions are such a classic. She liked them but then her annoyance ruined the freeing mood she felt. The pesky professor came in her mind. The man was such a hate of dandelions. He even tried to insult her during one of his class when she talked about metaphors were dandelions were a part of it. It was her own piece. A poem she wrote. But the man’s hatred to dandelions must be sever. He was such a hater of it. He was a nice one but the immediate switch if something she couldn’t take. He started to complicate things after how passionately she talked about her loved for the dandelions. He was someone who speak sharply when triggered. She could have studied psychology right after she graduated with her chosen course. Back then she wanted to slap he professor with a research that indicates he had something that can be connected to a psychological problem in the head. She wanted to extend her revenge with something like degradation. Samantha was glad she stopped herself from doing something petty. She scoffed because of it. “Petty things for the wicked.” She whispered while her face looked disgusted. The thought was getting into her nerves. Healing isn’t linear after all. She was clearly affected by the incident that happen a long time ago. She took shade in one of the tall trees standing. She sat while peaking through the sun shining its lighting glory of brilliant rays. Her mind took her back to the crowded pedestrian. The outdoor table of her flower cafe. She missed arranging the flower bouquets herself. It was the love of flowers and her love for drinks that made think of something creative that turned into a full blown business. Nothing beats the feeling of thrill when one knows she made a dream from childhood be brought into the current reality. She made it happen despite not having such great support system. She was proud for herself because of that. Samantha’s eyes dropped towards the purple aster from afar. There were pink and white alyssum too. She once had arranged alyssum flowers in a bouquet. And she loved its sweet smell. Another light breeze carried the scent of the flowers around. The honeyed air was mild. She stood from where she sat, making her way straight towards the flowers. -- Gregory’s eyes were searching. She was such a lovely bearer of it. Gregory regained a ripple of energy in him. He moved making the horse bounced to the other side.
