Samantha let her eyes roam in the interiors of the church. The place spoke of grandeur. It’s like one for the creative literature the poets spoke about. The insides possessed a glass art of cherubs singing and floating. Some of the little angels were carrying stringed instruments. The others were there around the clouds, sleeping, holding hands, playing hide in seek in the sides. She can compare it to an almost Italian portrait. She then glanced towards her side. Gregory smiled at her. She held his hand, squeezing it gently. She stared at him, appreciative of his presence beside her. The ceremony will start in a few minutes and she can feel her giddiness inside her. She’s excited… ** The music sounded beautiful in her ears. The person on the piano plays its keys almost smoothly. Samantha stared at the singer who happens to be the woman that approached them earlier. She was singing Westlife’s Song, “Beautiful in White”. She somewhat thought about how she wished she have her phone with her. The singer sang beautifully that she wanted to have a recording of it. A light squeeze made her pulled her eyes away from the singer. She stared at Gregory who was looking at her with such gentleness, such care intent that made her eyes skipped a bit. This is one of the rarest type of gaze he has and he is staring at her with that kind of eyes again. Almost looking at her like she was his beloved, someone too dear that his eyes couldn’t manage to not look away from her. “You’re beautiful. You’re the most beautiful thing that came in my life.” Gregory mouthed making her gape in shock. He then smiled widely before they started walking in the aisle. She wanted to stare more to his eyes but she has to look in front of her or else she will probably fall in her heels, and she doesn’t want it to happen. She was that shock that it was Gregory who held her hand and tucked it on his arms. Her eyes went blank the entire time they were walking. All she can ever think of is his words. They reached the end. She walked on the other side neared through the pews then she let her eyes moved to looked at him. He was already looking at her. She saw the light in his eyes more clearly. He looked at her in a solemn manner. His expression was calm. She then moved her lips, trying to hide off the smile that’s been wanting to come out of her face. She felt Cassidy’s nudged on the side. That it when the concealed smile came. Her best friend made a swoony expression, moving her forefingers to create a movement. “Super adorbs.” Cassidy uttered. “I heard it, Sam. Now tell me, how’s your heart after his confession?” Samantha let out a smile before she chuckled lightly. She just shrugged her shoulders off but she was smiling at her, happily. Cassidy pouted her lips at her. “I need details, Sam. You’re not even saying anything. I am thinking if I am still your best friend because you’re trying to hide that feelings of yours now.” Samantha leaned towards her, trying to ease her. “Don’t be. You are still my best friend but we have to shushed ourselves for a bit because this moment is not about me and him. It’s your cousin’s special moment and we’re here to focus on being the witnessed for the proof of their love for each other.” ** The priest then faced the people inside the church. Samantha listened how he asked if who objects the wedding. Silence filled the room before someone raised her hand. She stood from her seat. Murmurs were now present and she can feel Cassidy stilled from her seat muttering curses. Her eyes went towards the bride. Fear was in her eyes, her groom had the same expression as hers too. His eyes were alert. “I don’t object.” The woman started. “I need to excused myself. I just need to go to the bathroom.” She added. She then paced herself hurriedly. Another man followed right after her trail. The people were shaking their heads at the scene. It was horrible yet funny at the same time. The ceremony continued as if nothing happened. The bride and groom happily kissed each other in front of the altar. She then smiled before an image flashed in her eyes. It was her and him and the moment he spoke his first words to her. And now he spoke of how he adores her. It’s amazing how things can change. They both came a long way now, together… ** The amazing cold air passed her skin sending shivers. Samantha then felt him in her back. He covered her with his outer garment. She turned around and stared at his eyes. They were now in the reception spot. Gregory’s mouth moved but no words came out of it. He then laid his palm at her. Samantha then stared at her before she swiftly placed hers on top of it. They went to one of the designated tables, holding hands as they walked towards it. Cassidy took a seat in front of her. She was trying to catch her breath. She stared at her. “I was so so ready to throw hands at her a while ago.” She huffed a breath out of her mouth before she flipped her hair towards her backside. Chase took the seat beside her, fanning Cassidy with his fingers. She was still muttering her curses at Hickary, their cousin. She’s also one of the weird kinds. But Samantha couldn’t say anything bad towards Hickary, since she was always been a good one towards her. Although, the woman was impulsive at times. She was also naive, tends to space out a lot during conversations, almost as if she is living on her own world. But nonetheless, she’s one of the good kind she happened to meet in this lifetime. “Just let it passed, Cass. You know your cousin the most, she tends to act like that at times.” Chase uttered. Cassidy threw her a harsh glance making him to nod his hands at her and did a gesture of zipping his mouth. Samantha stared at her. “Chase is right, Cass. We already know that she be do acting like that especially during you know… Moments like this.” She spoke. Cassidy shook her aggressively. “But still… She should have controlled her urges. Gosh, she caused a ruckus a while ago because of he behavior…” She then pinched the tip of of her nose looking stressed out. “I am really proud of how tolerating Amanda is towards her. If something like that happens to me I might’ve probably lashed out in front of the altar. Or worse, I might probably get down and throw hands at her probably tugging her hair down.” Samantha lightly touched her hand. Her eyes went towards Gregory to check him out. He just smiled at her, making light touches in her hand which he was already holding since the moment they took a seat at the table…
