Centaurs are here. I couldn't imagine seeing one in this timeline. Along with elves that have sharp arrows launching at them. Their side started to lose some knights and I couldn’t bear this. How is this happening when they were just winning a while ago? “Long time no see, Princess.” A man stepped forward. It was the elf who argued back at the giant queen from their past adventure. “Looks like you are determined to show yourself, elf.” I retorted. The elf grinned lopsidedly, “To come and get your hand.” He announced. “As your suitor, I want to help your kingdom which doesn’t have a king now.” I blinked, and Kai instantly pulled me to the side. His jaw was clenching and I could feel how angry and jealous he is that he is marking his territory now. I can’t help but compare the Kai here and the kai back in my old world. They both are the same. Protective and possessive. “You seem to be daring to steal the princess from me.” Kai snapped. The elf scoffed, “Here comes the dark mage interested in the princess. You dare claim her yet you still didn’t ask for her hand.” Kai was fuming mad now. It was obvious how his glare shows how he wanted to burn them alive right now but I held his hand. “And if I refuse your offer?” I asked, daring what his reaction would be. “Then there will be blood.” The elf threatened and I approached him. Kai stiffened at this, ready to risk himself but I kept him rooted to his spot. I trailed her hands on the filthy elf’s cloak, and then whispered, “My whole life is war, fool. You’re stupid to think I would even say yes to you.” And my hands instantly gripped his neck, choking him. The elf struggled to her hands and I glared at his people, “Everyone, see this? There is more than I can do if you won’t stop coming after me and my people.” She said bravely. “Anyone who dared to do this again shall have their heads flying.” The whole enemy’s side was quiet, and I watched as the elf struggled at my hands. I waited until he was on the brink of death and I loosened my grip on him. The elf glared at me and instantly pointed ahead, “Everyone! Launch!” Looks like they didn’t listen to my threats as they continued and my side fought back, not daring to leave out anyone. Just then, I felt someone pulling me from behind, followed by a familiar person’s voice. “Check on your youngest deer…” I could feel my skin having goosebumps. I felt another enemy’s presence and danger but when I looked back, I couldn’t see anyone and heard a loud yell from a knight. “Princess!” “I’m here!” A knight then ran to me in hurry, and delivered his message, “The young prince Nicholaus has…disappeared.” I instantly knew of it. Seems that the enemy came to warn me earlier. It must be his doings. I glanced at the elf leader and watched as he smirked, “Heard of my surprise? Why not check it?” I instantly attacked the elf leader and couldn’t contain my anger. “Tell me where my brother is!” I yelled, slinging my sword at him now. Gusev instantly came after, “Amari is gone too.” Arya turned back to the elf leader, “You got my brother and my maid. You have guts.” I wanted to kill the elf right there but I couldn’t. Kai then came to my side. “Go with you, brother. I’ll finish him for you.” He said. I looked at him and couldn’t help but plant a soft kiss on him. “Thank you, Kai.” “Go with you, brother. I’ll finish him for you.” He said. “You know what you are doing now, right?” Kai asked. “You are practically showing and telling everyone how we are already engaged.” He teased me and I put her fingers on his lips. Engaged? I do not know of that! Damn, this world is full of surprises. This is a big deal here! “We’ll talk about that later.” And it was right. I then returned to the palace with Gusev and then watched as everyone was panicking. I could see Beta Mark pacing back and forth by the hall. “What happened?” I asked, breaking his thoughts. He then paused and looked at me. “It was a farce on my side. When I noticed no one attacked the north, I heard someone whispering at me and I instantly returned to see Nicholaus nowhere in his room.” I nodded, “Those damn elves. They took him a hostage. They are desperate.” My heart was hearing rapidly knowing this is happening. When I just promised Nicholaus to keep him safe but now look at them. The war was instantly wrapped as everyone turned victorious. Kai and Zef came back with blood on their hands. Rem then returned with eyes sharp as a hawk. The whole kingdom didn’t know what to feel. Numerous opinions were there, circulating. We celebrated our victory but we also mourned the young prince’s kidnapping. While everything’s still calmed down, I am going to go and save Nicholaus from the elve’s hand. Right now while it is still early. Wearing a cloak, I discreetly packed and when I walked out, a hand grabbed me. She struggled but sense his scent. It was Gusev. “Gusev? What are you doing?” I asked, wondering why he is there. Gusev glanced behind him and cleared his throat, “We must go now.” I blinked, “We? No, I’m going alone-“ “I want to go and save him too.” He announced, “Plus I won’t let you go there alone.” I raised her eyebrows, “Then you’re going to leave the others here?” Gusev sighed, “Kai can do it. He’s strong.” “Then we’re out of the kingdom again.” Again, for the second time, they are leaving it. How could they? I didn’t have a choice but to just get my brother with me. Zef and Kai were found nowhere, and they sent a letter. I won’t let my precious student get into the hands of the enemies. -Zef. I chuckled. So they were thinking the same thing, except the two chose to go earlier than us. Zef and Kai must have already gone there without telling me. Before I could travel, words were spread around the whole kingdom of what happened and how my engagement with Kai was leaked. Damn. Guess there are still matters I have to fix in this world.
