Estimating the time, Minh Vu left the cave to search for items that could be used or crafted into tools. By now, it was already late afternoon. Although Minh Vu did not directly oversee the pottery production today, Alan and Akam could handle it themselves, and they were even more skilled than him. It was straightforward because they were women, and women tended to be more adept at cleverness. Moreover, they were not just ordinary villagers; they were skilled pottery artisans. Looking at the five pottery kilns cooling down, Minh Vu was eager to see how many successful pieces they could produce today. Meanwhile, on the construction site outside the stream, the production was still in full swing. The extraction team, the cleaning team, and the drying team were all operating smoothly. It could be considered a production line in full swing. Minh Vu didn't bother to give directions or observe. Instead, he took a stroll in the grassy field. The field was about 10 acres wide, with a small stream running through the middle. One side bordered a range of large stone mountains, and the other side bordered a dense forest. The grass had turned to a faded yellow color, signaling the approach of late autumn. Usually, grasslands like this would have a highly diverse ecosystem, with many mice being the secondary food chain. Along with mice, there would be other animals such as snakes, field wolves, and more. Minh Vu walked for about 20 minutes. At this point, he noticed a raised mound on the grassy field. This mound was about 2 meters high and quite spacious, enough to accommodate three cars. What caught his attention were the large holes on the mound, some even larger than others. From a distance, Minh Vu could see many small caves beneath, along with numerous paths leading outwards from the mound. A sly smile appeared on the corner of Minh Vu's mouth. A smile full of hidden meanings. He quietly observed carefully, then returned to the tribe. By now, it was quite dark, and the entire tribe was transporting the day's spoils. With the convenient working conditions today, everyone was quite adept, and the productivity had increased significantly. The total harvest was nearly 300 ready-to-use kitchen racks, equivalent to 100 bags of dried meat. Additionally, the group harvesting the Stones obtained 50 kg. Overall, today's harvest was not bad. The pottery-making group focused on making large pots today. So, throughout the day, they only managed to produce 12 large pots and 20 small bowls. As usual, Minh Vu was the one to open the kilns. The results of yesterday's work by him and the pottery group were all eagerly anticipated. Each kiln was opened one by one. Unfortunately, the luck today was quite poor, with less than half of the products meeting the standard. Four large pots were deemed successful, while the remaining six showed signs of cracking. The bowls were more promising, with 26 of them turning out well. Both large and small bowls added up to 20, which was not bad overall. The faces of the pottery group showed some disappointment, but Minh Vu consoled and reassured them. Soon, they regained their spirits, looking forward to a delicious meal. The main dish tonight, of course, was the fish porridge. Indeed, if there were some salt and a bit of fresh vegetables, the meal would be more complete. However, Minh Vu could only wish for that, as he had many other issues to address at the moment. After dinner, Minh Vu began to assign tasks for the next day. The group of Alan, Akam, and the other six continued to make pottery. The group digging Stones kept at it, but the accompanying children were tasked with collecting dry grass and small branches. The hunting and fishing team split into two groups. The hunting team, consisting of 13 members with two injured, now had 11 members actively participating. Three of them continued fishing, while the rest followed Minh Vu for hunting. Minh Vu's target for tomorrow was the mouse mound. According to his observations, that mound was an enormous mouse hole. If they managed to catch it successfully, it would be an extremely lucrative gain. Mouse meat was a delicacy, and their sharp fangs could be crafted into weapons or tools. Their intestines could be dried for making ropes, and the mouse hide could be used for various items such as clothing, shoes, hats, and gloves. As per the tribe's chief hunter Klu, catching mice was quite difficult, as they burrowed deep into the caves. To catch them, they had to dig to the very bottom of the caves. However, Klu couldn't find a solution. But that didn't mean Minh Vu couldn't. After all, he was someone with knowledge ahead of his time and hailed from the western region, which was known for its field mice. Catching field mice had many methods, such as traps or digging holes. The most common method was using smoke. A peaceful night passed without any incidents. The entire village was immersed in dreams, with only Blu and Xin still diligently watching the fire. Around 3 a.m., they also started to rest. Due to the nature of their work, their treatment and task assignment were different from others. Their sleeping time was from 3 a.m. until noon. After lunch, they would split up to find firewood and reinforce the kiln. The next day was quite busy for the Large Stone Tribe. The tasks were almost double what they usually did, requiring all tribesmen to give their best effort. Hearing the news that Vu, the leader, would lead everyone to hunt mice, Klu was extremely excited today. So, he woke up early, preparing hunting tools. A stomach full from a hearty meal, and then the entire Large Stone Tribe began a new day of work. The hunting team, following Minh Vu, consisted of six people, including Klu and Orc, two indispensable characters. Following them were Ika, Ivki, Luc, and who could be considered the bravest in the Large Stone Tribe.
