chapter 4

SAVE MY SOUL
The thought crossed my mind that I could potentially find myself at a point of giving up on life entirely.
Caught in the precarious balance between existence and the unknown realm of death, a sense of impending doom lingered in the air. What fate awaited me at the hands of these mysterious masked figures?
The searing pain in my anus was a cruel reminder of the physical trauma I had endured at the hands of those sinister individuals. The flickering light overhead intensified, casting an eerie glow that barely illuminated the surroundings, shrouding the room in darkness.
A chill ran down my spine as a cold, inexplicable sensation grazed my skin, prompting a sharp, guttural scream that tore through the air. Frantically swatting at the unseen assailant, I grappled with the unknown entity that had invaded my space.
Forced to obey Reddy's ominous command, I reluctantly lay down on the bed, bracing myself for the worst. The creature loomed over me, its strange presence sending shivers down my spine as I struggled to comprehend its alien form.
With each agonizing cut that sliced into my flesh, the ritual intensified, culminating in a crescendo of haunting melodies and distant murmurs. The excruciating pain seared through me, leaving me gasping for breath as I succumbed to the torment unfolding before me.
In the midst of my suffering, I found myself praying for a swift end, a release from the agony that gripped me. Yet, my pleas went unanswered, leaving me to face the unthinkable horrors that awaited me.
As the night wore on, I lay in a pool of my own blood, a lifeless husk of my former self, consumed by despair and regret. Cursing the cruel twist of fate that had led me to this dark place, I struggled to find solace in the face of such abject cruelty.
Hours passed in a hazy blur of torment, the room spinning around me as I teetered on the edge of oblivion. Through the fog of pain and torment, a familiar face emerged - Anabella, her voice cutting through the chaos with a gentle touch of concern.
Greeting me with a casual good morning, she seemed oblivious to the horrors that had unfolded during the night. As I struggled to find the words to describe the horrors I had endured, a grim realization dawned on me - I had survived the night, but at what cost?
Whispering a silent prayer for strength and resilience, I braced myself for the challenges that lay ahead, uncertain of what further trials awaited me in the wake of such profound suffering. Amidst the chaos and uncertainty, one thing remained clear - the night's events would forever haunt me, a chilling reminder of the fragility of life and the depths of human depravity."Anabella, I do not have the time for your pleasantries. Leave with your evil self!" I shouted, my voice filled with anger and frustration.
Anabella, standing her ground, responded firmly, "One of the rules is to not talk to your elders in that manner. Show respect to the queen, for I am Anabella Kaki, daughter of Kaki the greatest. Do not mess with me, or I will not hesitate to unleash my wrath upon you. One more word from you, and you will see that I am more dangerous than Reddy."
Her words were like a raging fire, and I could sense the intensity in her voice.
As I observed Anabella, I realized that not all that glitters is gold. How could someone so beautiful be so evil and heartless, a stunning woman with a dark soul?
"I am sorry, Anabella. Please forgive me for my inappropriate words," I pleaded, tears rolling down my cheeks.
Anabella, unmoved by my apologies, declared, "I have given you enough privileges, but you have chosen to be a thorn rather than a gentle companion. From now on, I am not Anabella; I am Queen Anabella. Bow in my presence, do not sit where I sit, and comply with my wishes without complaint. Failure to do so will leave you vulnerable to Reddy's wrath."
She established her rules and left me to ponder over the consequences of my actions.
The arrival of two goddess-like figures broke my thoughts. I gazed in awe as they entered the room, their presence commanding respect. Anabella's voice echoed in my mind, reminding me to greet and respect my elders.
Struggling to find the right words, I managed to greet them politely. However, their lack of response made me feel uneasy, realizing that I was in the presence of extraordinary beings.
I marveled at their beauty, realizing that Anabella was not the only enchanting woman in Den. With each passing moment, my pain seemed to dissipate, replaced by a sense of peace and comfort.
Introducing myself as Chyke, I tried to engage in conversation with one of the ladies named Zee. Her gracious response and warm demeanor reassured me that I was in good hands.
"I am here to take care of you, welcome to the family," Zee said, her words soothing and reassuring. In that moment, I knew that I had found my safe haven amidst the chaos and uncertainty."Excuse me, do you happen to be a part of the royal group of the Den?" I inquired once more.
She grinned in response, "I am not part of the royal lineage. I'm just a humble worker like everyone else here. The true members of royalty are Reddy, Queen Anabella, and the mysterious masked group. It is essential to show them respect and honor at all times."
Observing how Queen Anabella has been looking after you, I advise you not to take on more than you can handle.
Queen Anabella belongs to Ramash, the second only to Reddy, who they call the "blind eyes." His face remains a mystery to all but the royalties. He holds the queen in high regard, so it is best to steer clear of her. Consider this a friendly warning.
Expressing my gratitude, I thanked her for her insight.
As she spoke, another woman interjected, "If you're not going to ask my name, I'll just tell you. I'm Ciara."
Together, they informed me that their purpose was to care for me and get down to business.
Although Ciara appeared brusque, I paid her no mind. I didn't find her appealing in the least.
After they bathed me, applied medications, and dressed me, my pain began to subside, and I started to feel a bit better.
Zee ushered me into a room where she revealed that only a man and a woman could share a living space in the Den. No arrangements were made for same-sex pairs. I felt elation knowing that Zee would be my roommate. My heart brimmed with joy, my brain pulsed with excitement, and I looked forward to happiness once more.
Zee brought in a meal that smelled divine. The enticing aroma lifted my spirits instantly.
Addressing her, I said, "Zee, I hope this isn't made of human flesh."
She chuckled and assured me, "No need to worry. All the meat we consume here is not human flesh. Enjoy your meal and nourish yourself."
Instantly, my appetite returned as relief washed over me. I said a prayer of gratitude for the meal.
Reassuring me that I would regain my strength, Zee promised to show me around the Den, including the cattle farm.
Grateful for the good news, I felt a sense of hope and expressed my thanks through the sign of the cross.
