Chapter 52
Grim Reaper
Three individuals entered, and the soirée persisted, with the ongoing banter directed at the two zodiac signs, Ava and Owen. Grace found it challenging to meet the gaze of Ava, Owen, and their new recruit, considering their current involvement. "Are you certain about your decision, Grace? It appears you have no intention of thwarting those two. Enlighten me on what truly transpired between you both in the past," Sam inquired of Grace. "I've reiterated it before; there was nothing between us, and moreover, I harbor no feelings for Owen. That is the unadulterated truth," Grace responded. "Very well, it's your prerogative. As for me, I'm indifferent," Sam replied, nonchalantly indulging in his wine. Their gathering persisted, and after a few minutes, the teasing of the two zodiac signs ceased. Following this, Leonardo approached Aika. "Aika, might we engage in a conversation?" Leonardo proposed, exhibiting a grave demeanor. "Certainly, let's step outside. The ambiance in here is too tumultuous," Aika suggested. They exited and engaged in their discussion there. "What do you want to talk about, Leonardo?" Aika asked, feeling a bit shy. "You know, back in school. Can we go back to that? Can we be friends again?" Leonardo said, holding Aika's hand. "Yeah, that's what I want too. I want us to stop feeling awkward," Aika replied, her cheeks turning slightly red. "Okay, let's go back inside, Aika," they exchanged smiles. After that, the party ended. As Emma and Aika headed home, they held hands. "Looks like you and Leonardo are okay now," Emma said. "Yeah, seems like it," Aika smiled, looking at Emma. "Let's go," Emma said. When Aika arrived home, she saw Axel watching TV. "Oh ma'am, how was the party? Did you have fun?" Axel asked, smiling. "Yes, everything turned out well," Aika replied, her joy reaching the sky. "Alright, I'll go to my room now and rest. Turn off the TV after you're done." "Yes, ma'am." "It seems like ma'am had a great time at the party she attended," Axel said to himself. Meanwhile, the man in the black cloak wearing a skull mask proceeded towards the Celestria region, continuing his journey. Meanwhile, Black Serpent remained in the dungeon, unable to see anything due to the blade piercing his eyes. Several hours passed, and the man in the black cloak with the skull mask arrived at a village in Celestria. This village was one of the settlements located at the outskirts of Celestria. As the man in the black cloak with the skull mask entered the village, he suddenly spotted an eatery and decided to enter. Upon entering, he saw men drinking, muscular men, women selling their bodies, and regular customers of the store hanging around. The people inside glanced at the man in the black cloak wearing a skull mask as he entered. Whispers spread among the people about the man's appearance. The man approached a waiter and placed his order. "Can I have a serving of rice and soup? And also, bring me something to drink," the man in the Black Cloak and skull mask said in a cold voice. "Yes, sir, please wait," the waiter replied, quickly heading to the kitchen. "What do you think of that guy? He's not from around here, right?" one of them whispered. "Yeah, probably. Let's just keep quiet, who knows what he might do to us," another replied. Shortly after, the man's order arrived, and he started eating. Suddenly, a group of bandits arrived and broke the door of the eatery. "Oh no, they're here again," the man eating in the eatery whispered fearfully. "It's better if you keep quiet," another man there replied. Then, one of the bandits approached a diner and whispered menacingly, "Are you talking about us?" He smiled, his face looking intimidating. "Ah-h-h you're not the one we were talking about—" the man couldn't finish his sentence as the bandit threw him. "Hey miss. Give us seven girls here and hand over your best food," the man pointed at the woman at the cashier. "Yes, sir. If you could just wait for a moment," the woman replied. "Boss, where do you want to sit?" one of the bandits asked, looking at their leader. "Over there," their boss pointed to the table where the man in the black cloak with the skull mask was seated. The table was too large for the man in the black cloak. It could accommodate ten people. "Should we kick him out, boss?" one bandit asked. "You guys, you're going too far. You're always causing trouble here. Fight us first before you eat in this place," a muscular man said, facing the bandits. Without warning, one of the bandits punched the muscular man, sending him flying. "Who wants some? Don't get too cocky because we're the bosses here," a bandit said. "Hurry up and kick out the guy eating over there," their boss ordered. "Yes, sir, right away," one of the bandits quickly approached the man in the black cloak. "Hey, you, get out of here. We're taking over that spot," a bandit demanded. Despite the interruptions, the man in the Black Cloak continued eating. "Didn't you hear me?" the bandit shouted angrily, knocking the man's food away. "Are you leaving or do I have to—?" The bandit couldn't finish his sentence as the man in the black cloak swiftly thrust his hand into the bandit's chest, causing a fountain of blood to spew from his mouth. The man then removed his hand from the bandit's chest and decapitated him with his bare hands. Everyone was stunned by what they witnessed as the man in the black cloak calmly walked out the door, passing by the other bandits. As the man in the black cloak reached the door, the bandits stopped him. "Stop right there. Take one more step and I'll kill you. Do you think you can escape after what you did?" the boss of the bandits said, emanating a terrifying aura. Drawing his sword, the bandit boss prepared to attack, but the man in the black cloak swiftly aimed his hand at the boss's body, immobilizing him. And suddenly, his body shattered into pieces, leaving nothing behind but the scattered pool of blood. "W-what have you done?!" one of the bandits shouted, but before he could launch an attack, the man in the black cloak punched him and slammed him into the ground, leaving little of his head intact. "T-that guy, he's a monster, run!" another bandit exclaimed in fear, but before he could flee, his body was swiftly cut in half. Only three remained, but in the blink of an eye, they too lost their lives. The onlookers in the eatery were shocked by what they witnessed. "W-wait, he didn't even hesitate to kill those bandits," one man pointed at the man in the black cloak. "He's a monster." "S-someone help!" a terrified woman screamed. The man in the skull mask grabbed his mask. "I am the one who will judge your lives. I will dictate where, when, and how you will die. For I am Death." "I am the GRIM REAPER."
