"Lia! I have to get you to the hospital,” Derek ground out as he walked towards her and helped her gently wrap the white, blood-soaked towel around herself, she looked pale and tired of everything, including her life, but she couldn't give up.
She cannot take her own life because she feels Zach owns it. It was like a new creation of Lia when she rose from the dead. She's treated Zach like a god her whole life, but he doesn't care about her at all.
"Did he do this to you?" Derek doubts that Zach did this horrible thing to a young and poor woman, Lia. Lia was massively abused by her so-called husband, Zach.
"He's always done this to me and why should you care? All men are equal! You are with him as well, the male sex cares less. Those scumbags!” Lia sobbed and clenched her fist, but she couldn't help it, she had to live her life the way Zach wanted. To her, Zach is the alpha, but the sadness in her heart made her cold to everyone.
"No, we're not the same. We are very different. Just because we're the same sex doesn't mean we're the same.” She stopped crying and paused to glare at Derek, pursing her lip as she began to sob.
"But… but you kissed me in the brothel without asking my consent," Lia mumbled as Derek helped her up, helping her clean up while she continued to cry.
"You need help!"
Although her smooth and beautiful skin seduced him, he didn't let his dirty thoughts take over. Her body was sore and bruised, and Derek was in pain, he wished to free her from this bondage, he wished to free her from Zach's bondage.
"Turn around," Lia ordered.
"What?" Derek wondered why she asked him to turn around. He turned with a steady gaze as she dropped her white blood-stained towel, revealing her nudity.
"You would say that if they wanted something else from me." Lia changed into a long blue dress because it was easy for her to put on when his back was to her, as she requested. Lia cried all the time.
"Well, I'm sorry for the kiss. Let's go to the hospital now.” Derek said turning to face her as she walked towards him. Derek shouldn't have said those words "You're beautiful," he blurted out, she looks pretty in the blue to match her blue eyes, her golden hair slicked to the side that smells like a golden breeze. . She lay on the bed as she curled up trembling on the bed, she clung to the pillow and stared at an open, space, the wall.
"No!" she sobbed, wiping her tears away with the pillow.
"I don't want to go anywhere. I want to stay at my husband's house until he comes back.” Lia said.
"Husband? Can you still call that monster husband? Look what he did to you. Your beauty, he's trying to kill you." Derek said as he sat down on her bed.
"Don't ever call Zach a monster, he's my angel, he helped me," Lia exclaimed. Derek narrowed his eyes, had she just called him her helper? thought Derek.
"Even if he helped you, that doesn't mean your life belongs to him. Just look at you, he treats you as if you were his maid, and imagine this man doesn't love you one bit.” Derek explained, but Lia wanted to stay in the mansion.
"In this situation, we have to call the police. It's getting out of control.” Derek said. It started with Lia's pale skin.
"No, please. Let me go! I'm fine," Lisa said as she put her hand on his while coughing.
"It's like you don't value your life at all, is it?" Derek said, handing Lia a glass of water. She took the water and sat on the bed, supporting her back while sipping the water.
"Many Thanks."
"What is the primary purpose of staying with this man named Zach? Is it for his gold and money? Because he's wealthy? For what reason do you sacrifice your precious life for material things? Lia put the glass with a little water on the stool next to her.
"I'm still here because I love him with all my heart and he feels the same." Lia ground out. Well, she lied. She has no feelings whatsoever for Zach, she just wanted to show her appreciation by marrying him. As for Zach, do you think the man loves Lia?
"But I felt something as my lips caressed yours. I felt something different like you love it, but you don't want to express it. I know you don't love that man named Zach in your heart. I can see it in your majestic eyes.” Derek said as his eyes met hers.
Lia looked away, avoiding eye contact with him.
"No, I don't love you." Lia giggles as she reaches for the pillow and uses it to cover her smiling face. She was shy.
Car horns blared as Derek grabbed the pillow, closer to Lia. Lisa winced when she heard the honk, it means only one thing.
"He's here, my husband's back," Lia said, rolling aimlessly off the bed and grabbing Derek's arm.
"And?" Derek said, stopping.
"Derek, you have to go now. Zach will hurt you if he finds you in my room."
"No, I can't leave this mansion without you. You don't feel well, you have to come to the hospital with me.” Derek said and pulled her arms, pulling her closer.
"No, I can't leave this mansion without asking Zach's permission," Lia said, pursing her lip.
Derek narrowed his eyes, frowning as he carried Lia in his arms as he hopped through the window out of the mansion. He's tired of trying to explain a simple thing to her. Lia screamed and shook her hands and legs. He tied her mouth with a white handkerchief to prevent her voice from being heard.
“Since she is not ready to be rescued. I'm going to save her by force,” Derek muttered to himself.
A security guard in a blue suit spotted Derek sneaking out of the mansion with Lia in his arms.
The security man grabbed an intercom and informed his other men that an intruder had broken into the villa.
A red buzzer was about to sound the alarm.
"I want his body here," Zach ordered his men as he sat down in a gold-upholstered chair. The security guards ran out of the villa in search of the intruder.
"Lia! Lia! Lia! Do you think you can escape? You will always be with me, forever.” Zach chuckled at first and let out a very loud laugh, laughing mysteriously.Download Novelah App
