Derek spreads his hands in the air as he yawns loudly. He sat up, looking up at his king-sized bed where Lia passed the night on. He spent the night on the floor because he doesn't want to make her uncomfortable. Though there are many rooms in Donald's villa, Derek is so scared of letting go of her or making her stay in a different room. He stretches his head to glimpse Lia's gorgeous sleepy head. She wasn't on the bed. He furrowed his brows “ Did she leave?“ “Morning, Derek.“ Her soft voice let out behind the bathroom door. She flung the door open as she came out of the bathroom with Derek's bathrobe on. Derek stood up, embracing her. “I thought you left me.“ Derek said as he disengaged from the hug, his eyes met the blue glowing necklace on Lia's neck side, immediately. “I thought I lost it. Where did you get it?“ Derek said as he touched the necklace. “I did not know, I am just as shocked as you are. I woke up finding this necklace worn on me. It seems it has some sort of connection with me.“ Lia said as she dashed to the dressing room. She picked one of Derek's big shirts and shorts. Lia changed into his clothing as he was in the bedroom smiling at himself. Lia walked out of the dressing room putting on his clothing, it was like she was punched in a big sack and her heart-cupid lips were pink again. Derek laughed loudly as he notices her in his new clothing. “Do you know what you look like in those?“ “What's wrong with this outfit?“ Lia raised her voice with a frown worn on her face. Derek stopped unwrapping his white teeth as he sights Lia frown. “Oh oh, I think she is mad at me.“ Derek whispered to himself as he stares at her hesitating speech and movements. “Ah ah ah, you fell for it.“ Lia said laughing loudly. Derek hits her hand “Yeah, that's true.“ They both laughed holding hands. “Derek, I would like to ask a question.“ “Go on.“ “Do your family members not go to work or anywhere apart from staying at home? Why are guys always indoors? You are always spying on each other. What's wrong?“ Lia asked. Derek sighs. He has no answer to that question because he knows nothing about his family's jealousy, deception, and rage. “I think my mum has an answer to that.“ Derek said. He always asks Ava about that but she refuses to tell him the truth. It's either she changes their discussion topic or she ignores him. Lia noticed Derek's broody mode, he was in deep thought. “What's going on in this home? “ Lia knew she had to change the topic. “Well, let's forget about that. How about I show you what the outside looks like?“ Lia said. “I know how life outside is. Boring! Weird! Except for that brothel.“ Derek said smiling as she rolls his clothing on his fingertips as he sat on his bed. “What do you do in the brothel, Derek?“ Lia questioned as she sat on the bed, looking more curious than she has ever been. “What do men do in a brothel ?… lot of stuff with girls. Those ladies are awesome“ Derek blurted out. Lia's heart skipped. She was not comfortable with that. Lia does not understand if she should cry about it or laugh. “Yes, they are. I went to the brothel for some business purposes, not to meet a guy.“ Lia faked a giggle which Derek noticed. “There are more in this world than those stupid things there. Come with me, I will show you what I mean by life.“ Lia said as she hops up and down trying to hide her jealousy but it was so obvious Lia was jealous, it was written all over her face. “Alright!“ Derek uttered. He remembered the promise he made with Ava his mother that he will not sneak out again but he felt that it won't hurt, this will be the last time. Derek wishes to spend quality and quantity time with Lia and he feels he deserves to come out of his shell, of the house. “Let me go freshen up, first.“ Derek said as he dashed into the bathroom to have a quick bath smile trickled in his head. After freshening up, he changed into cloth that compliments his skin color. “Done.“ Derek said. Hoping to the window pane to sneak out of the villa. “I'm sorry, Mum.“ He whispered to himself locking his eyes. Ava would be so disappointed in Derek if she finds out about the terrible thing he is about to do. “Why pass through the window when this villa has a door?“ Lia raised an eyebrow, she was confused. “No child of the home is allowed out of the mansion.“ Derek says. “But why?“ Lia opened her mouth in surprise as she hops out of the window also. “No one knows.“ Derek said in a hysterical tone. Lia pulls Derek's arm as she walks away from the villa while they chat about themselves. “Hmmm…” the dark Jinn groans out of bed. ~~~ “What did you see? Spit it out, Sam.“ Ava said fixing her gaze on Sam whose brown eyes ng on the ceiling. Sam gasped as the image knocked out his head, his eyes became normal as he looks down. “Derek! Derek!“ Sam said as she fled into Derek's room with Ava. “What is it, Sam?“ Ava said with her heart rate breathing heavily. “Derek is in grave danger and this time no one will be able to have him except…” “Except who or what?“ Ava asked. “I was not able to temperate the prophesy well maybe that's because you were yelling at me.“ Sam said with his shoulders slumped. “Derek sneaked out again, didn't he?“ Ava said as she looks out of the window. Ava starts to feel lightheaded as she became dizzy. Her head aches badly as Sam yelled her name. Ava was trembling as she couldn't hear anything in her surroundings, everything became faint. Her vision became blurred as she tried to hold unto something The floor swayed beneath Ava. The last thing she saw was the darkness that enveloped her surroundings. “Ava! Ava! “ Sam yelled as he tries to wake her. She fainted. “Help!“ Sam yelled sprinkling water on Ava's head.
