Chapter 6 Kidnapping

"No," he answered simply.
Eden frowned. What she did not hear you correctly? The previous Cologne had always been successful in handling some difficult cases. It suddenly changed drastically like this. There seems to be absolutely no intention of working.
"Why are you like this? Are you really thinking about resigning now?" Eden complained. The man felt despair when he saw the behavior of Cologne who seemed reluctant to handle the case.
"Tsk. Your pessimistic nature always looks annoying. Take this!" Cologne threw a note at Eden with an annoyed face. "Now it's your team's turn to work!" he said.
Eden took the note and read its contents. The man then tried to contact his team and asked to track down a place that matched the records provided by Cologne.
Cologne glanced scornfully at Eden. "If you have eyes. You can see on the back of the note there's a photo I've tucked in there," he tried to tell.
Still with the smart phone to his ear, Eden then flipped the note with one hand. There he found a photo of a place like a cafe.
"Where did you get this from?!"
Cologne snorted, "Tsk. Hey, instead of asking you should just send the photo to your team. Don't waste too much time!" Cologne glared at Eden.
Eden fell silent then quickly did as Cologne ordered.
While doing what the junior ordered. Eden was again amazed when he found the extraordinary work of Cologne. Secretly he said this in his heart, Maybe I was wrong because I judged him quickly, it seems he still has that extraordinary ability.
Cologne, who saw Eden suddenly smiled to himself, immediately rebuked the man angrily, "Can you confirm that your mental state is still normal?" quipped Cologne.
"Do I look like an idiot?"
Cologne almost spat in his senior's face if he couldn't contain his anger. "Stop kidding!" he cried angrily.

An hour later
After waiting for almost an hour, Eden got another report from his team.
Cologne glanced at Eden and hoped the man could make his job a little easier. It seemed that the young man was not at all interested in this kidnapping business and wanted to hurry home.
"Don't look at me like that. You should be happy because my team has managed to track down the place and got some important information," Eden said with a cheerful face.
Cologne sighed and he really didn't seem interested in the further development of the case.
"Then say it quickly! And don't keep me waiting like this."
Eden sighed. He thought Cologne's morale had returned but the opposite happened.
"That cafe you showed me earlier is really not just any cafe. Red Velvet cafe is the name of the cafe, maybe it looks like an ordinary cafe and runs its business normally. But the cafe also has illegal activities there. Due to the fact that the location of the cafe is quite closed, the cafe is often used as a place for illegal transactions by the owner," explained Eden.
"Oh," Cologne commented curtly. The young man looked increasingly disinterested even though the progress of the case had progressed.
Eden, who could not stand seeing Cologne's attitude like that, immediately grabbed the collar of the young man's shirt roughly. "It doesn't matter if you like it or not. I will still take you with me to settle this matter until it is over!" cried Eden.
Cologne really wanted to fight but what power his senior had, was far greater than himself. After all, his senior is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt holder. Cologne himself who is only a white belt holder in taekwondo can only surrender when facing his senior. After all, he did not want to get a death slam from his senior.

At Red Velvet Cafe
"Please provide information regarding this child!" Eden asked in her calm yet intimidating voice. Eden showed a photo of a child who was seen playing around the cafe's yard.
"What are you talking about? This kid must just happen to be playing around here, of course I don't know where he is now," replied Mr. Margot, the cafe owner.
"You are stupid. You are trying to suspect us just because there are children playing around our place of business," said a thin man who is a worker at this cafe.
"Psst… you won't be able to get honest answers from them. Just use violence here. After all, they are criminals," Cologne whispered in Eden's ear.
Eden sighed and then replied like this, "You can't, you know we are not using violence," Eden replied in a voice that was no less low.
Hearing the answer from his senior, Cologne immediately scowled. The young man then stepped forward and pushed his senior's body away so that he could face the cafe owner.
KRAAK
Cologne split the wooden table in front of him. The young man grinned widely and looked alternately from the cafe owner to his subordinates with an intimidating look.
"Hey… what… what… you… did… that… constitutes… destruction… I… will… sue you…." said Mr. Margot in a trembling voice typical of a frightened person.
"Oh really? Hm… but shouldn't it be you? You're always playing with fire here. Did you really intend to challenge our side from the start?" threatened Cologne in a voice that sounded subtle but frightening.
Did he eat wrong? His nature today is very strange, Eden said in his heart when he saw Cologne's strange behavior.
"Pssst… don't just look at me, quickly help me too!" whispered Cologne as soon as he saw Eden, he just kept quiet. Cologne immediately elbowed the senior's arm.
Eden sighed, "Huft, what can I do to help, if you just managed to make them feel scared like that," he complained.
Cologne snorted. He drew closer to Mr. Margot then brandished the remains of the broken table that had been split in half at the cafe owner.
"Hey you Mr Bald Head, quickly provide information regarding that child! I'm sure you must be trying to hide something in there in that bald head of yours!" he exclaimed.
"WHAT CAN YOU DO? IF I DON'T WANT TO TELL YOU!" screamed the bald-headed man in frustration.
Cologne smirked. "If you don't want to do that, I can close your business. You are now not just dealing with a cheap detective who can't do anything. You know, I'm a person who works officially with the police."
"FUCK I DON'T BELIEVE IN YOU!"
Cologne, who had run out of patience, then immediately launched an Oi-Zuki-Chudan punch, which was a punch that aimed at the stomach or solar plexus. Let's just say that the young man is indeed at the beginner level in taekwondo martial arts but not in karate martial arts.
