Chapter 9 Kidnapping Final

Cologne hurriedly tried to avoid Eden and just left. And meanwhile Eden, who was still standing where he was, was surprised by the strange attitude shown by his junior.
"Is this really a sign that I have to do some cleaning in the office?" Eden muttered to himself. The man thought that his office has recently become a gathering place for various spirits wandering around, making the people who work there become 'sticky'.

Bus stop
After realizing the money is not enough to pay for the taxi. Inevitably Cologne was forced to use the bus to go home.
"If you refuse Eden's offer. Why are you still refusing my offer? You're just bothering yourself stupid. I can immediately move you to the house," grumbled Berlin, who was now standing right beside Cologne's body.
"Shut up. I told you I don't want to accept help from a filthy creature like you!" snapped Cologne.
"You stupid!" Berlin deliberately pushed Cologne's body and made the young man fall sideways on the shoulder of a burly man with many tattoos on his arm.
Cologne glared at Berlin but the demon just disappeared and did not take any responsibility for his actions.

Two days later
After solving the kidnapping case, Cologne returns to his normal life. Work until late afternoon then go home if not overtime.
"Want to go home right away?" asked Berlin, who had been following him all day. The demon seemed to be getting closer trying to cling to poor Cologne.
"Yes. Please take me to the afterlife now," cologne Cologne who was tired from working all day.
Berlin in the form of a shadow directly hit Cologne hard on the head. "You don't have to talk like that, you'll have tears in your eyes if that incident actually happened to you."
Cologne huffed in annoyance and let out a shaky breath.
"I just wish you could keep your mouth shut a little bit."
Berlin wiggled his finger what looked like a plain black shadow.
"Not. You're so much fun to tease. After all, the devil's job is to disturb humans. So I have to do my job well," he said cheerfully.
Cologne rolled his eyes lazily. "It's up to you," he replied nonchalantly.

In front of the door of the house
Cologne fell silent when he found a middle-aged woman standing right in front of his door. He didn't recognize the woman until finally she turned around and revealed her face.
"Ah, it's you, isn't it?" asked Cologne making sure the woman was Mrs Wish who was the mother of a child abductee whose case he had recently worked on.
Mrs Wish smiled. Greet the young man briefly. Then walked over to him.
"Thank you for your help young man. I am indebted to you for saving my son," said Mrs Wish sincerely.
Cologne smiled faintly. "There's no need to thank me because it was my duty to save your son," he said a little pleasantly. Cologne glanced at the woman and found her carrying a basket in her left hand.
"Sorry in advance, what brought you here?" asked Cologne politely.
Mrs Wish handed her the basket she had brought with her earlier. Then smiled sincerely at the young man.
"Please take this Black Forest cake, as a small thank you to you," said Mrs Wish as she handed Cologne the basket of German cakes.
With a bit of hesitation, Cologne accepted the cake and thanked Mrs Wish, "You shouldn't have bothered like this, I really thank you for your kindness," he said a little shyly when he accepted the cake.
"It's okay, you don't have to be so hesitant. By the way I also put oranges in that basket. I hope you like oranges," said Mrs Wish trying to tell Cologne.
Hearing the word citrus fruit, Cologne immediately thought of Jo, who was very fond of citrus fruits in his life other than almonds. Cologne remembered that his friend had experienced diarrhea because he had eaten too much of the sour but sweet fruit.
"Thank you," Cologne said again.
"You know son, I once gave the same gift as you to a foreign young man I didn't recognize. That young man had helped me when I was almost robbed on the street when I came home from shopping. And for helping me the young man even had to lose his valuable object. At that time I intending to replace the valuable thing but he refused. But because I always feel bad for him, finally I can only give a box of Black Forest cakes and a bag of oranges from my groceries. The young man even refused my gift but I kept forcing him to accept my gift, ' Mrs Wish said at length. The woman didn't realize that she had spoken at length.
"He's a good man, isn't he," Cologne commented upon hearing Mrs Wish's story.
Mrs Wish smiled widely and then said this to Cologne, "He's really a very nice young man. Even I didn't even know his name until now. I always hoped that the young man would always be fine."

Berlin, who had been secretly listening to Mrs Wish's story, couldn't help but chuckle and grumble to himself, "What's so great about it? Really looking for a face and being a hero." The demon looked displeased.
And in the midst of his annoyance, suddenly Jo's spirit appeared. And managed to make Berlin feel surprised.
"You seem very upset, did you hate what I did in the past back then, hm?" Jo stared in surprise at Berlin, who looked annoyed by himself.
"Damn spirit. How dare you shock me, a lowly spirit like you should act politely in front of me. Don't act so much!" Berlin's nagging is endless. It seemed that the demon had a thousand bitter grudges in his heart towards Jo.
Jo, who heard the demon nagging again, didn't want to bother at all. He chose to remain silent and ignore it. His hearing was too precious just to hear the curses of that hell-origin creature.
"YOU DON'T HEAR ME?!" Berlin screamed, finding Jo looking indifferent.
Jo waved her hands in front of her own face.
"Hm I listen to you, don't worry, I accept all your scathing words with pleasure."
Berlin who heard Jo's reply immediately put on a straight face.
And again, Jo didn't want to make a fuss about it.
"By the way Cologne has successfully re-finished his duties. Ah I feel relieved he can work well without me. I really feel proud of him," said Jo sincerely. The spirit of the young man really felt proud after seeing his friend's success in completing his task.
"To hell with that! You have to remember what you owe me!" Berlin exclaimed, ignoring Jo's sincere words.
Jo glanced lazily at Berlin. He really couldn't understand how the demon just kept thinking about the debt he owed him. Lazily Jo replied to Berlin like this, "Okay I'll pay my debt later. And until then, make sure you take good care of my best friend. I'll always keep an eye on you." After replying like that Jo immediately disappeared.
Seeing Jo disappearing again, Berlin immediately cursed the poor soul with scathing insults, "Damn it I will make you and your stupid friend suffer for working with me. And I'm also not stupid that you really never trusted me to take care of your friend because of you. just trying to take advantage of me damn it!" Berlin screamed madly.
