Chapter 88 Recovery
“Are you happy now?” she asked while sitting beside me. I looked around, and only the trees and bushes are all I can see.
I shook my head as a sign of my answer, “Of course not, that's will be your answer,” she whispered.
I took a deep breath and let it out slowly. My back was leaning on the bench while swaying my feet.
“Amethyst?” I said with an airy voice. She turned her head in my direction while having a bewildered look on her face.
“I'm sorry about what happened to you, it's my fault, and I'm willing to do anything just forgive me, please?” I pleaded while looking at the ground.
I couldn't make any eye contact with her, knowing that I'd done a lot of bad things to her, yet she's still on my side.
She gently pats my shoulder, and she speaks slowly, “It's okay, though everything did not end with the good results, maybe, someday, you can do the better things, because you've learned a lot from your experiences.”
I glanced at her, “Remember what I've promised to you? I will go wherever you are just to see you and to be with you,” she stated.
I nodded to her, and she holds my hand. My heart skipped a beat when she did it.
Something brought up my mind. It's a bad decision that I hurt her, because of my thoughts that she's a daughter of a criminal, and she would be like her father someday.
I was wrong about that thoughts, I should never judge a person by its background, and by its parents.
I shouldn't think of someone who will be a bad person, or thought of something that they will inherit from their parents.
If you will ask for my suggestion, please, talk to someone else, and know their thoughts or opinions.
It will be a great opportunity to gain some knowledge, and it will make you understand the situation without thinking about any side comments, or bad comments.
I looked around, and my jaw dropped when the place was suddenly changed. The place was filled with different flowers and butterflies.
I stood up and looked at the bench where she'd been sitting. She's already wearing a white dress and a blue flower that was pinned on the side of her hair.
Furthermore, I walked around and stared at the beautiful sky. It's a beautiful, and remarkable view.
I made a bunch of mistakes from the past, it's time for me to change for the better, and pay all my punishment.
I lend my hand to her, and she grabbed it with a wide, and genuine smile. Likewise, I gave some small kisses to her soft hand.
She stood up, and we decided to walk together to the endless road. I gasped when she suddenly stopped.
“Why? What happened?” I asked while raising my eyebrow. She shook her head as a sign of her answer.
“Zhian, I will never forget the days, and times that we shared, I will never forget the moments that we created in the past, it will remain inside of my heart,” she said with a genuine, and sincere voice.
She touched my chest, and whispered, “I will always love you no matter what happened, I know that you are not my first, but always remember this...” she stopped for a moment.
“You will be my last, and my forever man, please erase me to your mind, and I'm willing to stay in your heart,” she continued.
Her tears were streaming on her face, I'm standing quiet while having a forehead wrinkled.
“Please, stop thinking of me, because if you didn't stop, the ghost of your memories will haunt you until the last breath, I won't let that happen,” she pleaded.
Her words are slowly sinking in my mind.
“Let yourself be free in the cage of the terrible mistakes from the past, move on, and heal your heart, and mind, see you again!”
I gently touched her face, and feel her smooth skin. I gasped when she's slowly fading away from my sight.
“A-Amethyst!” My tears began to stream on my face. My lips were trembling, and my hands were shaking.
“Amethyst! I couldn't live without you!” My knees fell to the ground. It's like my heart was stabbing, and squeezing it multiple times.
The place turned into a white wall, with a bed, and a door. My eyes were welled up in tears, and my shoulder slumped down.
I decided to sit on the bed and hug my knees. I'm wearing white clothes. I looked at the ceiling, and there's a thing that was blinking.
It's the camera! Camera?
I shrugged my shoulder, I don't know why I'm here, and where I am right now. All I can remember was I'm talking to Amethyst, and she suddenly disappeared.
A loud knock was echoing in this room. I turned my head on the door, and I saw someone's eye on the small window on the door?
What do you call that? I shrugged my shoulder and covered my face.
“Sir Zhian? It's time to drink some medicines,” the unfamiliar voice said behind that door.
I didn't move, instead, I keep covering my face using my arms, and embracing my knees. She knocked with a soft movement.
“Who are you?” I shouted while remaining in my position. I heard her heavy sigh.
“I'm Stacey, I'm your nurse,” she answered. I glanced at the door and decided to stand up.
I walked to the door, and the door suddenly opened. I stepped back when the door moved.
She closed it and sat on the chair. I looked at her with a squinting eye. Really? There's a chair and a desk.
She puts the medicines and some of the foods at the top of the table. I sat in front of her, she gave me a genuine smile that makes me feel comfortable.
“The doctor said that you need to eat first and drink these medicines, so you will be able to go out from this room,” she murmured.
I glanced at the food, it's apple, vegetable salad, and water. I looked at her once again.
She gave me the spoon and fork. I accepted it and began to eat. My stomach was asking for food, luckily someone arrived, and gave me this food.
After a few minutes, I have already done eating, she gave me the medicine, and drink it with the help of the water.
It's not good! It tastes like rotten bread, with rust, or dust on it. She awkwardly scratched her head, while looking at me.
“What time is it?” I asked after of my questions. She looked at her wristwatch, and she answered me, “It's already 11:16, why?”
“Nothing, I'm just wondering, how long I'm been staying in here? What's this place? Do I have some illness that's why I'm here?” I questioned.
She gulped, and replies to my questions, “You've been staying here for 9 months, and we're still waiting for your recovery, Zhian.” Download Novelah App
