10. Someone

That morning, Jack was watering the flowers in the yard. And while he was enjoying his activity, a woman's voice that he recognized seemed to invite him to talk.
“Very diligent. By the way, you look very suitable to be the father of the household. I'm not saying that I like you or want to be like that,” said Lea who had just returned home after her favorite jog.
A sigh escaped Jack's mouth. He was used to Lea always making strange comments when she met him. For some reason, she liked to make comments every time she saw his face.
“Tsk. When you take a shower later, remember not to spread your clothes like someone who wants to sell clothes at a cheap market. Put your clothes in the right place. It hurts my eyes to see your car's worth of underwear scattered everywhere,” Jack said irritably.
“You pervert,” Lea sneered before she was about to enter the house. But her hand had not yet reached the door knob. A familiar voice, but not her husband's, called her name.
“Lea, is that really you?” A man in a t-shirt and training pants that somehow looked expensive. Calling Lea who was about to enter the house.
“Matias, what are you doing here?” Lea herself also looked surprised at the presence of the man.
“Excuse me, ma'am and sir. I didn't know that you knew each other. But can one of you explain the current situation?” Jack raised his hand and suddenly stood in the middle of the fence between Matias and Lea.
Matias cleared his throat and looked confused. Glancing at Lea. Meanwhile, Lea who understood that Matias looked confused then took the initiative to explain.
“Look Matias, I know you must be confused. Actually, the figure who became the guardrail between us is my unofficial husband ....” And Lea's words were cut off because Jack suddenly slammed the water hose in his hand.
“Lea, you should have introduced me in a more natural way. I can't accept this. Even if you want to call me an unofficial husband, I can call you a fake wife because we married not for love but for economics.” Jack again shocked the people around him with his outrageous words.
Matias was the one listening to all these strange words. Somehow he felt like an illegal immigrant who was stranded in someone else's country without clarity.

CUR
Jack poured tea into Matias' cup in an elegant and expensive way. He even looked like a tea concoction specially hired by a nobleman.
Is this really not too much? thought Matias who felt bad for getting such expensive treatment from his host.
“Don't be shy. My so-and-so husband is so multi-talented, it's an honor for you to experience his expensive services,” Lea said, soothing the worries in Matias' heart.
For some reason, Matias himself felt that Lea was quite changed now. He suspected whether Lea had been so strongly influenced by her husband that she had become so strange now.
“So you were a high school friend, my wife?” asked Jack who had now joined her on the sofa.
“Yes. And you are her husband? Ah looks like Lea is really a lucky woman to have such a handsome and talented husband like you,” said Matias in classic conversation.
“Of course. She's lucky to have a handsome and brave man like me. Besides being a husband to Lea, I'm also her maid - uh sorry for that part I just misspoke a bit.” Jack didn't know why his mouth was a little hard to control this time.
Matias, who heard Jack's words, was surprised to death. He was sure he didn't hear wrong when Jack revealed himself as Lea's maid.
“Hahaha... Matias, please don't think about it. Jack does have a sense of humor typical of gentlemen in general. So you don't have to feel surprised. Please forgive his poor sense of humor.” Lea tried to break the ice by telling Matias that Jack didn't mean it that way.
Suddenly, Matias' head felt as dizzy as a person with cholesterol from eating too much buffalo meat. Had he not had such a close relationship with Lea in the past, he might have chosen to run away from this house.
“Your husband's sense of humor is rather unique. You seem to be starting to like his sense of humor as well. By the way why didn't you inform me about your marriage. I was even more surprised when I heard that you had a husband. It's really unexpected.”
Lea smiled. “This wedding was intentionally attended only by the closest family. It's natural that you didn't know about it, because the other friends didn't know about it either.”
“This sounds so sudden. Though... I was thinking of proposing to you.”
“WHAT?!” shouted Jack and Lea simultaneously. The husband and wife were so united as soon as they heard Matias' explanation.
Matias felt certain this time that he was not destined to marry Lea. He could see how compact Lea and her husband were even though they seemed like they wanted to antagonize each other.
“I think you two are compatible. It's okay that I'm telling you this, not to be mean. I just wanted to let you know, nothing more.” Matias then chuckled. He now turned to Jack. “If you don't mind hearing it, maybe I can tell you a bit about my past with Lea. I won't tell you if you don't mind listening to it.”
“Just tell me. I'll never mind hearing it.” With a face that looked so sure and confident Jack, actually asked Matias to keep telling it.
Matias was impressed to see Jack who didn't seem to mind hearing the story. “You are very manly Jack. I'm actually Lea's ex-boyfriend, we were in a relationship from high school until Lea graduated from college. But our relationship ended because I decided to go abroad for business. I myself had dumped Lea because I couldn't bear to make her wait too long. I planned to propose to her after I returned to the country. But who would have thought, it seems like I was gone for too long and Lea is already owned by you,” she said at length.
“Oh my God, Lea you should just be patient. If you know you will eventually be proposed to by him.” The unexpected statement, successfully made Matias unable to think about Jack's words just now.
Wait, what is he talking about? Matias thought in disbelief.
Lea grabbed Jack's hair ferociously. “Don't emphasize, you're just making my heartache even worse. Aih ... if I could turn back time I would also prefer to marry him.”
“What else can we do, we're already married. Shall we divorce so that you can be with her?” Lightly the curse words rolled out of Jack's stinky mouth.
“Oh that's a good idea. I wish divorce was that easy. And you'd be in big trouble yourself next!” Lea grumbled, not to be outdone.
Matias was pretty sure that his presence was no longer needed in this house. That's why he decided to run away from the house of the couple who had been bitten by a rabid dog.
