"See, it's because of you that he ran away. I was sure you'd live a contented and happy life with him,” Jack chided as Matias fled their home. Lea snorted in annoyance. She was already prepared with her deadly grasshopper pose, to beat up Jack who was endlessly ranting like a man possessed. "Why are you so eager to tell me to be with him. Are you still sane or not? You're my husband. Oh my God, what kind of crazy man are you?” Lea complained like when she found out about her credit card bill. "It's not like that. I'm doing this because I'm thinking of your happiness. Besides, he seems to have more money than me. And I can feel how the scent of money wafts off of him." "Huh? Even if I marry him, you won't get any money either." "But I'm related to someone who seems to have a good relationship in the business world. It's still beneficial." Unwilling to argue, Lea ended up hitting Jack on the head and face with her house slippers. After that there was absolutely no sound of unreasonable protest from the living creature named Jack. *** “Let's eat,” Lea invited as soon as she found Jack who was too busy watching television or rather with his own world. Because the man wasn't actually watching but trying to avoid her. "No you don't. I'm full,” Jack refused with eyes that looked focused on watching television. But actually his mind was drifting somewhere. Lea sighed heavily. I don't know why Jack had suddenly turned out to be strange like this. And she felt atypical of the situation she was in right now. "You became strange after Matias came to this house. Does he bother you?” Lea asked as calmly as possible. "I don't want to accuse you of anything strange but you seem to be acting very strangely like this. It makes me feel bad." Jack then got off the sofa and came to Lea at the dining table. She sat down and took her plate and prepared to eat. "You listened to my words. It's a miracle you obeyed me so quickly." Amazed to find her husband Jack obeying so quickly. It was like something strange had happened to him. “You don't have rabies do you?” "Stop commenting like a soccer commentator. I'm eating,” Jack warned Lea who he felt was making too much noise at the table. *** After eating, Lea then went to the private library to find a book that she wanted to read. After having free time she just wanted to spend her free time reading books. She didn't want to let her free time go to waste especially if she was thinking about unnecessary things, like Jack. DUK Lea accidentally dropped her book but Jack quickly caught the book before it actually fell. “Be careful,” Jack said and returned the book to her. Strange, usually he would not care even if I dropped a bomb even in front of his face, Lea thought confused by Jack's attitude that seemed so strange. Lea continued to observe Jack closely, like a scientist examining a strange specimen. Jack's sudden change in attitude made her even more suspicious. She decided to find out what was really going on with her husband. “Jack, are you sure you have nothing to hide from me?” Lea asked in a suspicious tone. Jack let out a long sigh, looking at Lea with eyes that seemed to look at her sadly like someone who was tired and never. Although that was true because Jack was a corporate budah who barely got a good night's sleep because of a word called work. "Alright, I'll be honest. Actually, I feel very pressured by Matias' arrival. I don't know why I feel intimidated by him." Lea narrowed her eyes to make her face look like a mushroom, staring at Jack as if she had just said that she saw an alpaca barging into her residence. "Intimidated? Matias? Who collects animated women and is still spoiled by his mother?" Jack nodded slowly. "Yeah, him. You know, I feel like he came in and everything changed. Maybe he had money, but I felt weird about him. It's like... like I really want to have a connection with her." Oh Jack, who was too stupid to understand jealousy, misinterpreted her jealousy as jealousy to have money like that guy. Lea chuckled, patting Jack's butt. "Oh, Jack I never thought that you are too sensitive. Maybe you should try therapy. It's not that I don't like you, but seeing you feel inferior to Matias who still can't even figure out how to wash his pants. Jack frowned, feeling his pride slightly scratched. "But Lea, you don't understand. It's more than just that."Jack himself seemed to be struggling to express his feelings of jealousy and became even more evasive. Lea was silent for a moment, then grinned."Oh, so now you're admitting to being jealous.Interesting.But seriously, you don't need to feel threatened. I think you're just overreacting this time. You don't usually get weird over trivial things." Jack looked sluggish.“I know, but still... I feel uncomfortable.”“Alright, let's make this clear,” Lea said, raising her hands like an animal keeper teaching a stupid bear an important lesson."Matias may have money, but he doesn't have me. And I married you not because of money, but because of... economics and family relations, well, I don't know why I married you.And I still regret it to this day, it's just that I might regret it more if I had married him." Unfortunately, hearing Lea's words only made Jack even more misunderstood and convinced that this was a bad situation.Plus he is an insensitive person, Lea's words that intend to comfort Jack actually sound so piercing in Jack's ears.
