For some reason, Lea has been feeling strange about herself lately. She began to realize that she seemed to be getting closer to her make-believe husband. She even felt like she cared about him. For example, she wanted to buy him his favorite bread when he stopped by the bakery to buy his favorite bread. “Oh my God, what am I doing?” Lea panicked when she bought Jack's favorite bread. *** Lea, feeling nervous and hopeful, set the small table in their backyard. That night, the stars were shining brightly. Lea looked up and noticed how the stars looked so bright. For a moment, she felt that this atmosphere seemed to favor her sharing time with Jack. Although in that instant she tried not to think about it too much. "No... no. Don't think strangely Lea, come to your senses,” she muttered to herself trying not to get too wrapped up in her own feelings. Because Lea, after all, still didn't fully acknowledge her own feelings. Jack, who had just finished with his work, rubbed his eyes that felt so heavy from looking at the laptop screen for too long and walked towards the backyard, following the scent of toast that smelled so good. It made him feel hungry. When he got there, he was surprised to find Lea had prepared everything so neatly. There was a plate of fragrant toast, a steaming cup of warm milk, and a small candle lit, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere. Jack was stunned for a moment, not expecting that Lea would do something as unexpected as this. “What are you doing?” he asked in a tone full of astonishment. Lea was surprised that her face turned red. But as usual her face looked so flat and annoyed which had become her trademark. "I made you some toast. It was just a coincidence because I actually wanted to eat toast. Don't get me wrong." Lea didn't want to admit it and instead argued because of her prestige. Jack shaped his mouth like an o and sat on the chair Lea had prepared. "Oh, is that so? Thank you, Lea. Because my stomach is very hungry, and I hope your bread won't taste bitter in my mouth." Lea's eyes looked at Jack sharply. “So you're saying you pray my bread burns?” Jack didn't answer. But he looked like he was mocking Lea silently. And succeeded in making Lea almost throw the breadstick at Jack's head. *** After the toast was finished. They started eating the toast and sipping warm milk. At first, the atmosphere was awkward. They just kept quiet and occasionally made light conversation with the insults they were used to from each other. Slowly, however, they began to feel more comfortable. Lea started talking about her day, how she enjoyed making bread and how happy she was to find her favorite bread in the store and regretted finding Jack's favorite bread there. For some reason Lea's mouth babbled so smoothly as if she wasn't antagonizing Jack. Jack listened intently, paying attention to every detail Lea told him. Something strange and warm began to grow in his heart. He felt that there was something different about Lea that night. He saw a sparkle in Lea's eyes that he had never noticed before. I don't know if there was something wrong with his vision at that moment, but Jack was sure he felt that Lea really felt strange to him. “You know, Jack,” Lea said after a while, “I feel like something's changed lately. Jack was silent, pondering Lea's words. He honestly felt the same way. "I feel it too. I don't know why, but I feel this is so strange and uncomfortable. Lea put on a coming face but she, felt her heart jumping up and down with excitement. "I'm glad to hear that, Jack. Maybe it's because we're starting to open up to each other." It was just a phrase that she couldn't possibly say, because it was buried in her heart. *** "Want some coffee, I'll make it for you. Don't thank me for putting a pinch of salt in your coffee,” Jack offered to Lea. “Is that how you offer to others?” Lea couldn't believe what Jack had just said. Jack shrugged his shoulders. Tonight he was going to stay up late again so he wanted to make some coffee. Since he still had a little free time before continuing his work, he wanted to drink coffee while talking to Lea. He did this to thank her for making him toast and warm milk. After making the coffee. Jack then offered his coffee to Lea. The coffee he made was Araku Valley Coffee, an organic coffee from the Araku Valley in Andhra Pradesh, which had a balanced flavor with a touch of chocolate and spices. "Let's relax for a while and have a chat. I want to cool my head before I get back to my busy work." “How nice of you to be this kind to me.” Jack raised one eyebrow. "Oh yeah. I think I've always been nice to you. But you're just too cold with me." “Wow.” “By the way Lea, how's work been going lately?” Jack started the conversation. "Fine and dandy as usual. You don't have to worry about my work, I'm number one in work,” Lea said proudly. "That's really nice to hear. Especially since you work for your own family-owned company and have a good position. You also never work overtime like me." Jack did feel jealous of his own wife Lea's condition. He who knew how his wife's background was realized how different their conditions were. Even though they were husband and wife. “You're jealous?” "Of course. There won't be anyone who doesn't feel envious of you. In fact, I feel more envious of you the closer I get to you like this."Jack didn't hide his envy. Lea sighed heavily.Ignoring the strange feelings that began to appear in her heart lately in the figure of Jack. She herself was well aware of Jack's condition. "I'm sure your compassion grew when we got married. Do you want to blame me for my economic condition?" "For what? Isn't it already your good fortune? I can only feel jealous of you.I probably won't be able to become like you.But as long as I can survive with my current job this is more than enough for me,” Jack said."Does that mean you're resigned to your current life? You no longer dream and choose to live your life as it is now?” asked Lea. "I don't know. It's hard to have big dreams when I'm used to living like this.Even if I lost my job it would be a small apocalypse. I'm sorry to tell you this, but a rich kid like you would never feel this kind of apocalypse when you lose your job. You're living well and swirling in contentment. While I have to struggle so that I can survive."Jack sipped his coffee. Lea was silent. Jack's words hit her hard. But instead of feeling angry or offended she felt that Jack's words were classic words that she often heard from most people. The poor will be angry at the rich's economic situation. But the rich will not fully understand the problems experienced by the poor.
