Chapter 23 The One
"The charm of death lies much beyond the life of one...." She is both – life and death for us!
We began the game with "The One". It was the name of our game. The game on which our lives are based. We needed a haven, and we found that in "the One". She is our everything. However, she is just a human instrument and the deprivation of the Universe, our Universe.
"You are right, Harry", remarked Sebastian. "She is not a mere human instrument. She is our pride. Our game, remember".
"How can I forget? How can we forget?" Both Harry and Sebastian were filled with pride.
We have exploited her in all possible ways. We fail to understand what strength and endurance she portrays in withstanding such ordeals. However, she is material to our creation, to our Magical world.
Aastha has gained some insight into her real identity. She has found her place in the universe, at least the smaller universe of the magical gaits. However, she needed more answers to the questions raised by her time and again. Have you researched on her, Harry?
"I don't need to research further".
She is an embodiment of humanity. Only we know that she is Kalki. Her grandfather gave her scriptures to read so that she meets herself through the said scriptures. He often said - It is time which will introduce her to her inner self and with some stark realities about everything. It seems the time is near or has come about. Now, you, I, and the whole community know who she is.
It is only she who doesn't know what she is, or what she is capable of. She merely hates us for the bad treatment meted to her.
"Do we need to tell her?
"No. Let time pass. She has many questions in her mind regarding us, the place and why is she in such a place. All the questions will be answered with time. She, however, has some understanding that she is no ordinary instrument of Godhead. She considers herself a devotee of Shri Krishna".
"That we know," laughed Sebastian. "And we are magical gaits more powerful than her. But no one can be her."
"Then what are you getting worried for? She can never raise her voice against us", explained Harry
"But she has been raising her voice against us for getting her wishes fulfilled?"
"It is not so. Those are her basic needs. She needs certain basic things like food, clothing, and shelter, even though they are not that good for her. Imagine when you being a magical gait cannot do without luxurious things, then how can she a woman devotee, will be able to manage without the basic necessaries required for her survival".
"Moreso, she does not have any desires, Harry added"
"Yeah…we have chewed her badly. I have chewed her desires and her career. However, I cannot chew one thing which is her existence. Her existence is instrumental for us, more than it can be for her. I know that She is "The One". She is our creator.
"The only One who can make us or break us", he cried.
Harry maintained that she should be allowed freedom at all places wherever required and allow her to lead her life peaceably. By the way, what research did you get on the following questions raised by her –
'How can any instrument or medium of godhead stay at a place with the magical gaits?'
'How can a small girl be of such instrument to enable the making of the magical entities?'
'How can two worlds survive together, one of the satanic verses while other of Bhagwad Gita?'
'How can a person"s body, mind, and reputation be exploited by a whole community of magicians on a large scale?'
'How can a small girl of a tender age survive alone in such adverse situations in the strange world?'
'What makes the person so powerful to endure so much pain and suffering in her life?'
"Some questions could be answered by intelligence while some needed further research. My intelligence answered it all," Sebastian smiled.
"Nobody can come to this place and live with us", he added.
"Okay. We all know that. But then our next question will be – who can come?"
No devotee or a saint can stand before us. We are the satanic verses personified. We are opposite Brahma Lok. We are representatives of the Netherworld practicing black magic at every count. Only the purest soul who has never committed any sin and who is a brahmacharya can be an instrument at the hands of devil worshippers and live with them. We are a group of negative energies or aura...AKS, demoniac magic. We thrive on betting, prostitution, foul smell, dirt, gold, and all things bad.
In her parlance, we are the material degeneration of the universe.
"Her parlance?? She also has some understanding of the universe or what?" Harry laughed
Cutting across the conversation, Harry began - "I need to know more. Do you have more information on her? What is she currently doing?"
"Nothing great. She is trying her luck with new projects while we are creating bottleneck situations for her now and then".
"That is Good. Okay, now tell me what answers do you have to her questions? I am intrigued to know more," Harry replied.
"Yeah…You are her father. You deserve to know everything", laughed Sebastian.
"Please be serious. Can you tell me more about what did she find?" he grinned.
"On a serious note", Sebastian began, "She was researching something unusual regarding Tatvamasi that day. Perhaps she has researched all her questions by now.
"Tatvamasi Vedic Scripture. You know we cannot touch any religious scripture. We are opposed to any such thing".
"Chill…Nothing to worry about. Here, this is what she has found -
Tat Tvam Asi, means ‘That art thou" or ‘You are that". This is one of the Mahavakyas in Vedantic Sanatana Dharma. The origin of this sentence can be traced to the Chandogya Upanishad to the dialogue between Uddalaka and his son Svetaketu. The meaning of this saying is that the Self - in its original, pure, primordial state - is wholly or partially identifiable or identical with the Ultimate Reality that is the ground and origin of all phenomena.
In Avadhuta Gita, it is written: (Chapter 1 / Verse 25)
Tattvamasyadivakyena svatma hi pratipaditah /
Neti Neti srutirbruyadanrtam panchabhautikam //
By such sentences as "That thou art," our Self is affirmed. Of that which is untrue and composed of the five elements - the Sruti (scripture) says," Not this, Not This".
According to Advaita Vedanta, it is absolute equality of ‘Tat", the Ultimate Truth or Brahman, and ‘Tvam", The Self or The Atman. The literal meaning of the sentence is that Brahman which is the common Reality behind everything in the cosmos is the same as the essential divinity, namely the Atman within us.
Brahman is the primordial cause of this universe. But this is a predication of Brahman and so is extraneous to the identity about which we are speaking. The Self, or Atman, appears to be limited by an individuality that keeps it under the spell of ignorance; this is extraneous to the essentiality of the Atman. So, what is being identified is Brahman, minus its feature of being the Cause of this Universe, and Atman minus its limitations of ignorance-cum-delusion. That these two are the same is the content of the statement 'Tat tvam asi'. The cosmic Maya is what makes Brahman the cause of this Universe. The individual Avidya (ignorance) is what makes the Atman circumscribed and delimited. So, the Mahavakya, ‘TatvaAunt" says that Brahman minus its Maya and Atman minus its Avidya are identical.
Self-realization leads to God's realization in the sense that we need to get rid of Avidya (ignorance and delusion) to realize Tat Tvam Asi, You are that, or I am that or we are that.
So, this is what she has been searching for. I hope she hasn't understood the true meaning of Tat Tvam Asi. She is Tat Tvam Asi for us. Her life energies, her life, mind, body, and everything including her heart are our property. The only thing that cannot be touched is her Consciousness (a part of the Soul).
Interrupting the research, Sebastian began -
"Sir, I have a question. Why are we so much interested in knowing more about her? She is a piece of shit for us. Our slave. A mere human machine. Let us just exploit her till the end of her life and forget about her.
"You know how dear is her life and death to our community. Nobody can be her. There is something beyond what we perceive of her. I want to know whether she found anything about how she is so special? How is she "The one"? Did she find answers to all her questions by now…Let us consider her questions one by one for our better understanding –
"How can any instrument or medium of godhead stay at a place with the magical gaits?
I would answer this question in this way, Sebastian replied. She is a semi-divine gait. Only such a gait can stay with us.
"How can you reach such a conclusion?" Harry asked
As discussed earlier, neither a divine being, nor a human, or any other being out of only4 lakhs forms of life can come down to our place. We are magical aura (energies of the universe) who need to be made into perfection.
"And", interrupted Harry. "What is a semi-divine entity?"
Semi divine entity is a character that's not a fully supernatural being (such as a god, angel, demon, spirit in general, abomination, etc.), but has a touch of it or more in them. The character may be the offspring/descendant of supernatural creatures and mortals or is part of a race that's inherently part supernatural or in between. For that matter, the character might have even become part supernatural as a boon from the Powers That Be or their own personal attempt to Ascend to a Higher Plane of Existence. The reverse can also happen, as a fully supernatural being Descends from a Higher Plane of Existence and winds up with a "mere" fraction of their former supernatural touch. One such example is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Shri Krishna, whose ardent devotee she is.
"Interesting. Can you further elaborate on why she cannot be from amongst any other being from the 84 lakhs forms of life? Why does she have to be a semi-divine being only?"
She is an instrument of magic for us. She is making us by all possible means. How can a creator be part of the created? As per Bhagwad Gita, there are 84 lakh or 8.4 million species of life. We get information from the Padma Purana that the 8.4 million species of life are divided into six groups, namely aquatics, trees, insects, birds, animals, and humans. These aggregate to 8.4 million. They are the created. How can anyone from amongst them come to our land, that too, to create us? Thus, it is inevitable that she be a semi-divine body.
Let us consider the next question now.
"How can a small girl be instrumental in the making of the magical entities?
She is not instrumental in making us. We are made through her. There lies the difference. She is that supreme consciousness who has been sent to us for all our purposes.
Then, How can she survive in the world of ours, which is based on the satanic verses? "How can two worlds survive together, one of the satanic verses while the other of Bhagwad Gita?
That shouldn't be of any concern. She can survive in our world better. However, nobody can stay with us. She is the only one – "The One", Sebastian Sir laughed and cried both at the same time.
What about her Bhagwad Gita? Does that help her immensely, Harry laughed.
"Yes", Sebastian joined the laughter. Seriously, Bhagwad Gita is her strength. That is what she keeps on saying.
"I often wonder", remarked Harry. 'How can a person"s body, mind and reputation be exploited by a whole community of magicians at a large scale?'
"Who said we are exploiting her? We are chewing her everything every day," laughed Sebastian. She had been given to us for our benefit. Hence, we claim allegiance.
"Don't leave the topic here. What answer do you have to this question?
To answer this question, I need to bring to your notice some research. It was some information on the components of the soul. It says –
The five components of the soul are: Ren, Ka, Ib, Ba, and Sheut.
The simplest concept is Ren, which is your name: it lives for as long as you are remembered, can be read about on inscriptions, or included in prayers for the ancestors and their achievements.
Ka is also easy enough to translate into modern idiom, for it is that vital essence that makes the difference between the living and the dead, between life and dead meat, between a warm body and cold clay.
Ib is the heart, formed from a single drop of clotted blood extracted from your mother's heart at the hour of your conception or birth. By heart, the Egyptians meant not just the organ for pumping blood around your body, but the seat of your soul, the good directing force in your life, searching after truth, peace and harmony.
Ba is that which makes each of us unique and different, that which makes us strive and achieve, the motivator but also the hungry elemental force that needs food and sex. In some form, your ba is destined to survive after death, often depicted or imagined as a human-headed bird, which with good fortune will go forth by day to enjoy the light, but might also end up existing only in the dark, like the bat or the ruin-haunting owl.
Sheut is your shadow, and by extension the other you, as well as being used to describing a statue, a model, or a painting of a human.
How does this help in answering the question?
A human has various components of the soul. We have used rather misused all of the components of her soul - her name, fame, reputation, life, life energies, shadow, good luck, body, and most importantly, her heart and her mind.
What about her shadow? We have used that many times during the game. Remember, the AKS game. AKS means the shadow (negative energies). We used her shadow through the game of magic that we played with her for our purposes.
This is how the whole community benefitted from her throughout her life.
"It is strange as to how can a small girl of a tender age survive alone in such adverse situations in the magical world?" How can a person stay without fulfillment of her desires amidst difficult situations, both financially and otherwise?
I think it has much to do with the concept of the six passions of the mind.
What is that now? Harry enquired
"You don't know about the six passions of the mind. Come on, you know everything that Magic and Google have to offer and you are saying that you don't know.
We know everything about everything. All of us in the community. But what I wanted to know is how is all the information applicable to her case.
I am coming to that Harry.
In Hindu theology, Arishadvarga or Shadripu/Shada Ripu are the six enemies of the mind, which are: kama (lust), krodha (anger), lobha (greed), Mada (arrogance), moha (delusion), and 'matsarya (jealousy); the negative characteristics of which prevent man from attaining moksha
According to Hindu scriptures, these bind the soul to the cycle of birth and death and keep it confined in this material world (confines of Maya or relative existence). Especially the first three are said to pave the way toward hell. The first two bring about difficult experiences we face in our lives.
"So, that is why she is in hell with us", Harry laughed
"You can say that", Sebastian added
"No, seriously. It seems she has tried to experiment with herself or has already conquered some if not all the six passions of mind".
"It means she has become a saintly figure or is on the verge of becoming one", Harry laughed.
"It seems so. Sebastian looked worried. He continued – "According to Hindu belief, without experiencing these Shadripu at the fullest a person cannot understand the meaning of the Love which is the soul. These enemies of mind pull the human from all the sides away from the soul and make the life of the human miserable. To overcome this misery every human needs to experience all these Shadripu's and understand the consequences which later teach the person the importance of love and divinity. A human who controls all these Shadripu's even at some of the extent later enjoy's the power of peace".
So, that is what also makes the person so powerful to endure so much pain and suffering in her life?"
It is her devotion and love of Godhead that is her strength because of which she could endure all the miseries of life. She is anyways no ordinary instrument. Nobody can be her.
By the way, I too had a question Harry, Sebastian interrupted.
"Yes, please ask?"
"Tell me something, why can't she meditate despite being a devotee of Shri Krishna?
"Come on. How will she meditate when we are there with her throughout?"
No. I mean if she is extra ordinary then she must be endowed with enough spiritual faculties so that she can meditate on her object of devotion. Sebastian smiled slyly
"Sebastian, she has been given to us for our purposes. Hence we just have to exploit her and not care about her meditation".
"I was just being inquisitive, worried Sebastian. She shouldn"t indulge in such activities for she is our slave and is at our dictates".
"You are right". Harry paused for sometime.
"What happened? Is something worrying you, Harry?"
After a pause of silence, Harry began -
"Yes. I am a little worried. "Do you think she has known that she is "The One" for us?
"Yeah. I think she knows that she is of some use to us", Sebastian added
Both laughed together.
Let us, now conclude our discussion with one last question - How is she "The One"?
Here, let me list out the reasons for you, Sebastian said.
She is part of supreme consciousness like us but she is different from us
She is the only instrument given to us for our purposes
She is the only one who cannot procreate and become a mother
She is the only one human living among us - magical gaits.
She is the only one with whom we played the biggest game
She is the worst sufferer in the history of mankind
She is the only brahmacharya living in the magical world
She is the one with whom all the magical beings played several games throughout her life
She is the only strongest gait who survived the biggest deception, torture, harassment and trauma that we gave to her
She is the only one who cannot eat or cut onions and is a vegetarian.
The last one is my special addition, he joked
"I have a major addition to make to this which is – She cannot marry any person for she will be staying with us, magical gaits throughout her life, Harry added
You forgot one more point.
"And that is?"
"She is the only dream machine. Her dreams are subject to our control".
"Yeah…you are right. Her dreams are also for us by all means".
"The list is endless it seems", Harry added
"It looks like so. However, my reason fails to find any more reasons as of now".
As for the research, I have found something on her true nature of existence.
True nature of existence?? remarked Harry
Yes. Let me explain my research to you, said Sebastian.
As we know she is not an ordinary human. She is neither divine nor an animal existence. She can be attributed to being a semi divine creature by nature, the supreme consciousness.
"And", Harry spoke anxiously.
She is the purusha. The primeval man. The First Man from whom the universe begins.
"What are you saying? How can you jump to such a conclusion?"
"Yes. The Purusha or the First Man of the Universe.
Prakriti and Purusha are the two different aspects of the manifest Brahman, known as Isvara. They participate, regulate and implement the universal creative process. Prakriti means that which is found in its natural, unaltered form. Its opposite is vikriti, which means, that which is deformed or altered from its natural state. Prakriti also means "that which gives shapes or forms" signifying Nature or pure energy.
Purusha (puru + usha) means "eastern dawn" signifying the Manifested Brahman or the Creative consciousness that sets in motion the entire creative process with the help of His two aspects. Both Purusha and Prakriti are eternal, indestructible realities. The former is considered the essential cause and the latter the material cause of creation.
Prakriti operates at two levels. Its lower nature, which consists of the eight-fold nature namely, earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, reason and the ego, while its higher nature consists of that (life force) by which all the living entities are upheld. All the beings in the universe originate from this two fold Prakriti, the Adhibhuta aspect of God.
At the end of every cycle of creation, all the entities dissolve in the Universal Prakriti and at the beginning of every cycle of creation, God brings forth them again. Seated in Prakriti, Purusha creates all the living communities, and the whole creation itself, both moving and non-moving.
The Purusha is the universal cosmic male, the supreme Brahman, the subject as well as the object of sacrificial ceremonies, whose self-sacrifice results in the manifestation of life and worlds and by making a sacrifice to whom, a person gains an entry into the higher worlds or achieves liberation itself. The concept of Purusha is well documented in the Vedas, especially in the Purushasukta of the Rigveda which describes how the worlds were created, beings came into existence, and the social order was established from the Purusha.
At the time of death while the constituent elements of the individualized Prakriti go back to their respective Universal Elements, the indwelling Purusha and the jiva go to the higher or the nether worlds, depending upon the latter's past karma, and the place, time and manner of Its death.
Further, the Purusha is defined in verses 2 to 5 of the Sukta. He is described as a being who pervades everything conscious and unconscious universally. He is poetically depicted as a being with thousand heads, eyes and legs, enveloping not just the earth, but the entire universe from all sides and transcending it by ten fingers length - or transcending in all 10 dimensions. All manifestations, in past, present and future, is held to be the Purusha alone. It is also proclaimed that he transcends his creation.
"She cannot be expected to have a thousand heads, eyes and legs, enveloping not just the earth, but the entire universe from all sides and transcending it by ten fingers length - or transcending in all 10 dimensions, Harry laughed.
"Don't laugh. It is serious", remarked Sebastian.
Further, the Prakriti is female and she is controlled by the Lord just as the activities of a wife are controlled by the husband. Prakriti is always subordinate, predominated by the Lord, who is the predominator. The living entities and material nature are both predominated, controlled by the Supreme Lord.
Material nature has no power to create without the power of the purusa, just as prakriti, or woman, cannot produce a child without the connection of a purusa, or man. The purusa impregnates, and the prakriti delivers.
"All your research is interesting but how can all this be related to Aastha, our Girl".
"This is related to Aastha. She is the Purusha, of the Purusha Sukta from whom our world has been created. We stay on the earth and even below it through her medium.
Further, as we have seen nobody can be her for she is "The One". She cannot be anyone more befitting that the Purusha for she being the only woman, cannot get impregnated while staying in the magical world with us.
"Only the Prakriti can procreate, the Purusha cannot. We are part of that Prakriti. She is the only woman in the history of mankind who can never become a mother, continued Harry. She can create but not procreate. However, we are lower energies of the Universe while she is a higher form of consciousness. Further, we are not subject to death or decay but only dissolution brought about by the Purusha.
She is an Alien to us, our visitor. We will have to curb our prakriti to realize her Purusha, joked Sebastian .
"Now, what does that mean?" Harry replied
"Parth is also here. Now he will explain the meaning of this statement to us".
"You must be kidding. I don’t have any explanation to the statement. I just know one thing – She loves music, milk and me. She loves everything about me but does not love me"
"Aww…That wasn't funny, Parth. We are on a serious topic".
"Sorry, Sirs. But we have to do something about her?"
"Why? What happened? asked Harry
"Sir, she has known that she is special for us. We just wanted her to be dominated all her life. We did not want her any special treatment. Please do something about this".
"Okay, give us some time. We will think something on her. As of now, request others to take good care of her.Download Novelah App
