Jiro's POV
The sound of the door hitting the wall as I pushed it a little too hard made my ear hurt but I don't give a fuck.
I gawk at the room before me where six boys were staring at me, startled at my sudden outburst.
Once my eyes landed on the very person that made my blood boil, I immediately rushed forward hitting Devon square in the jaw.
"What the fuck Jiro!" I heard Noah hyung cursed but I didn't give him any attention.
"I will kill this bastard!" I screamed as I move forward trying to hit him again but I felt a few arms wrapped around me as I stare at him, my eyes fuming red and pulled him by the collar getting everyone on the room caught off-guard.
"Yah, Jiro!!!"
"What's happening?"
"Hey!!!!"
"Stop it, Jiro!"
But I did not listen to any of the boys screaming. Instead, my eyes landed on Devon who was standing in front of me, not even attempting to get off my grasp.
"Let me go! This little piece of shit had my cousin played." I stated and I felt the grasped of the boys loosen.
I looked at Devon and saw how conflicted he looked.
I threw him forward in frustration my hands automatically reaching my hair, messing it in the process.
"Fuck you, Dev." I can't help but mutter.
I felt Jack's hand on my shoulder.
"Kim Devon," my eyes landed at Sylver hyung as he moved forward to the later.
My blood still boils in so much anger but seeing Devon's broken state isn't making me hate him too much either.
"Yah, what the hell was your problem?!" I screamed at him.
It has been weeks since I've seen Luna so I decided to visit her at the rooftop but her things are gone.
"Devon, what happened? Don't even think about lying." Joshua hyung asked.
Devon's eyes shot upward as he stared at us, guilt and pain written all over his face.
Devon slowly sat on the ground as he plays with the hem of his shirt.
We're currently inside the practice room for training so we'll be prepared once our choreography for our new song was ready.
Since the hyungs never really stopped producing songs while we were on hiatus, the process for our comeback had become faster.
But before that, we need to fix whatever problem Devon have before we make a comeback because this might lead to our comeback falling through.
A sigh escaped my lips when Devon didn't speak.
"Did you know that Luna already left?" his eyes landed on me immediately. He looked sad but covered himself with an expressionless face.
"Seriously, what's the problem, Devon? Why were you cold to Luna? Did something happen to the both of you?"
I appreciate the fact that our hyungs are with us because if not, I might just end up just beating him up.
"Nothing," he whispered.
"What? You don't like her anymore, is that it?"
He looked a little pained at what Joshua hyung muttered. That's when I knew.
He loves her. He does.
"Cut this bullshit, Dev. You need to tell us what's happening or we'll end up staying at home for another two years." I heard Joseph hyung spoke with conviction. He's clearly starting to get pissed off.
"You very well know that you won't be back here now if not for her, hyung. And everyone in this room knows that you love her, so what could possibly be the problem?" Jack had pulled me back and asked me to sit down like the rest.
Before Devon can even respond, we all turned around when the room burst open and one of our managers came in.
He all turned to us and raised his eyebrow.
Was he listening outside?
My question was answered when he suddenly spoke.
"If you're talking about that girl who visited last time, that cousin of yours Jiro, I told Devon to let her go. He needs to focus on your comeback and having a girlfriend shouldn't be included in your priorities," he said and I raised my eyebrows at him.
My eyes landed back on Devon and I felt a pang on my chest when I saw tears started streaming down his cheeks.
"And what right do you have to decide for that?"
I was startled at what Sylver hyung had said.
He was talking back with our manager.
Somehow, I got a little nervous as tension begins to rise inside the room.
"Excuse me?" our manager looked appalled.
"As far as I can remember, we are way past the no dating stage as idols." Noah hyung added.
"And regardless if we still are, we have the right to decide about that since, as far as I can remember, we haven't actually signed a new contract." Joshua hyung said, his face looking goddamn serious.
"Guys…" Devon lifted his face, his cheeks full of tears.
"Damn you Devon, you should have told us earlier. Then this shouldn't have even happened." I told him and he looks at us confused.
"I thought you all wanted this? You miss being on stage right?" he asked.
"We do, and we know you wanted this as well. But we won't if that means you'll have to suffer again Devon." Joseph hyung responded.
"He's right, Dev. You've lost someone you loved before and she won't be coming back. Look what happened? You lost two years of your life. Are you sure you're ready to lose her as well?" I question him and I sigh in relief as he shook his head.
"I'm sorry to burst your bubble guys but I don't think you are understanding the situation." our manager stated.
Before he can even say his dramatic speech, Jack cut him off.
"I guess we're sorry too but you can save your fucking mini-drama for yourself," he stated as he stood up walking straight to the door.
Soon enough, all seven of us were walking out of the building while our manager was shouting for us to come back.
I hung my arm over Devon's shoulder and he looked at me dejected.
"Jiro..." he muttered.
A smile crept at the corner of my lips as we all walk our way back home.
Our members were all laughing like the usual as Joseph hyung was trying to ride Jack's back.
Sylver hyung looked a little sleepy while Noah and Joshua hyung were hitting each other.
And then Devon stopped from walking making me stop from my tracks as well.
The other members and Jack noticed and they all looked back at him confused.
"What's wrong, Dev?" I asked.
"I don't understand," he muttered. "Are you all okay going back to how we used to be a month ago?"
"Yes, what's wrong with that?" Sylver hyung answered and we laughed at Devon's weird reaction.
"You know what, we're okay with that. Though it's a little sad, we're still fine with it. Remember, we're a team. We will always choose you. So what? At least you can now sing again. We can go busk around the street if we ever miss performing. But we can't allow you to lose yourself once again. And that's exactly what's about to happen if you don't fix things with Luna."
I nodded at what Noah hyung had said.
Sometimes, I envy how he is always good with words.
"Devon, don't ever think that by leaving Luna because you're considering us, we're all going to be fine with it. We won't, okay? We appreciate the fact that you did that for us but please Dev," Joshua hyung stared at him worriedly, "Please choose something for yourself this time. Don't be too hard on yourself. " he added and with that, Devon's cries were heard on the street.
"Fuck Dev, stop crying." I laugh.
C'mon hyung!" Jack carried Devon on his back smiling. "We have to find your princess before she finds another alien weirder than you." Devon chuckled at what he said and so the rest of us.
Luna, wait for him. Please don't give up yet on him yet.
