Devon's POV
"Hyung, are you saying that this house is owned by Luna's family?" Jack's mouth was open in shock along with the boys as their eyes scanned the whole mansion.
I gulped.
I had realized that Luna is so rich right at that moment that when Jiro had told us that we need to wear formal clothes during her mom's birthday.
But seeing their mansion is a different story.
She was like a modern princess.
Guilt rushed across my chest as I remember all those horrible moments that I ignored her. She can have everything that she wanted and yet, she was crying because of me. She had been very upset because I wasn't able to stand on my own ground and own up my mistakes.
The inner me wanted to just drop everything about this comeback but my conscience can't just ignore the fact that I am dragging six boys along with my problems.
However, I was totally overwhelmed by what happened earlier after the boys all stood up for me.
I thought I was ready to give up the person I love for them. But in the end, they still want me to choose what will make me happy over them.
I'm so glad to have found brothers like them.
I felt Joseph nudging me from the side and I followed the direction he was pointing in.
Luna's mom was walking down the stairways.
We all stood up as we greeted her.
"Hello, good afternoon." I greeted.
Somehow, I'm afraid to move closer and greet her nicely because I hurt her daughter.
"Oh, what bring you guys here?" she said as Jiro moved closer and kissed her on the cheeks.
"Auntie, is Luna here?" Jiro asked, much to my delight.
Her mom's brow furrowed.
"She was but she went out earlier this morning. I don't remember where she was heading but I think she said something about a new attraction in Chicago?" her mom explained.
"Huh?" we all gasped.
Of course, she's rich. She can go anywhere she want anytime she wanted.
"Yes." her mom smiled. "There's nothing new about that. She's a daredevil. I'm actually surprise that she was able to finish three months with you without going outside of the country."
"Ah, do you happen to know where she will be going in Chicago?" Jiro asked.
"I don't but I suggest that you to her room. She normally leaves something on her room in case we need to locate her. Like clues. I know, she's weird." she laughed as she points the direction of her room.
Soon enough, all seven of us entered inside her room.
It was so big and a lot of pictures are hanging on the wall.
"Wow?" Joseph hyung muttered as she went on one side of the room where a lot of pictures are pinned down on a board.
"She is surely a traveler." Noah hyung added.
The places in the pictures are surely from outside of the country.
Some of the pictures are even of hers before jumping on a cliff.
"Oh my God." Jiro muttered as she saw a picture of Luna in the sky like some sort of skydiving.
Jack and Sylver hyung just lay down on her bed.
I moved towards her table and noticed a few pictures of us scattered.
My heart clenched on the sight.
It was taken on one of our dates.
Her laptop was still open and it doesn't have a password.
Before I knew it, I was already checking out her laptop.
And then I noticed the last thing that she searched.
Chicago Tilt
"Yah, you think Luna went to Chicago to try that?" Noah hyung asked.
"I guess so." I muttered.
A sigh escaped my lips.
"She's not here. What should I do now?" I asked dejected as I sit on one of the chairs.
Joshua oppa laughed at me. "Are you kidding me?"
I looked at him confused.
"Devon, you're still stupid.” Jiro added.
"Hyung, of course, we're going to follow her." Jack stated a matter of fact.
"What, are you planning to wait here until she comes back?" Joseph oppa asked.
Of course not. Every day that I don't see her breaks my heart into pieces.
I cannot explain the hurt that I was feeling every time her name flashes on the screen but I can't answer her back.
She was always there for me.
If it wasn't for her, I still might not be singing until now.
She never gave up on me.
Between the two of us, I was always on the receiving end and I feel so stupid because of that.
She had always been good but I hurt her.
Until the end, even after I avoided her, she still made sure I'm doing good.
I knew she called the boys when I was having a breakdown in the Columbarium.
God knows how much I wanted to just kiss her and tell her everything but I can't.
That time, I was thinking about how the boys had always been there for me.
I thought that I was being selfish for thinking my happiness first that I forgot that I am already hurting her.
That day when she gave me Lily's letter, I had a feeling that it may be the last time that I will be seeing her.
So I tried calling out her name. But she didn't look back.
I wanted to run towards her but my manager stopped me.
I feel so stupid for listening to him.
I feel like an idiot.
Now, I feel like I don't deserve her.
I was broken in my trance when I heard someone clearing his throat.
"So what do we do now Devon?" Noah hyung asked and I noticed everyone's eyes on me including Sylver hyung.
What should I do?
"Of course, I'm going to get my girl back." I told them.
Jiro smiled. "I thought you'd never say that.
